I thought I'd see if the Intense Herp website was still up, as I was pretty sure today was it's last day. To my surprise, it is up, with this as the opening text:
We are excited to announce we have moved IntenseHerp.com to a new server. We will finally have a full listing of available animals and will be updating our information and gallery sections.
Several new shipments will be available on the site soon, including those from Peru, D.R. Congo, Egypt, as well as other sources. We have been offering many rare or otherwise difficult to acquire species from several countries. Captive-bred caiman lizards from Peru are perhaps one of the most exciting species we brought in this year. Other interesting imports are Peruvian boas (red-tails and rainbow) and Atheris species from D.R. Congo. We were also happy to have revived our wholesale division recently, particularly through invertebrate sales. Be sure to contact us for more details.
Once again Justyn has really shocked me. He's still saying he got the Congo shipment, he doesn't mention the Asian shipment. Surprisingly enough, his photo gallery has no photos of Atheris. He mentions having lots of new animals, but his pricelists are blank. Okay, the pricelist has just been put up, but I'd think showing you have animals to sell would be a main consideration before you opened it.
I did get a couple of emails from him last week in reply to the multiple emails I sent. As ever, my very direct questions received vague answers, no mention of an estimated date, no acknowledgment that there is a problem that needs to be resolved. I really get the impression that he sees nothing wrong in what he's done, that he's just annoyed that we're pestering for some reason that he can't fathom.
