    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I would imagine the only reason you even care about any of this being online is we are effectively hitting you where it hurts... YOUR WALLET! Things have been crazy around here.. but I am working on an updated version. I dont have to spend both of my off days this week working on a vehicle so I hope to have it done by Thursday. :thumbsup:
 
Her wallet must be hurting if she is threatening to sue. i bet she wants money out of it. i also believe she is not leaving her anchor but just changing her name to make it easier for her. however she at least knows that if any of us finds out what her new name is it will be all over this thread and will only be pushed back up to the top.

this is great webslave, i needed a laugh today. please do keep us updated it would be great to see which fast talking slow witted family member they try to get to play a lawyer. it also seems like the only non factual thing the thread holds is she is no longer mrs wise.

She was only Wise as far as her last name goes. Everything else she was just stooopid. Of course criminals normally are and they get caught. :rofl:
 
Personally, I can't believe that she thinks for even an instant that I really believe she wants to go before a judge and have this all brought before a courtroom. :rofl:
 
Not to be a buzz kill or anything, but I was under the impression that libel, or slander, or something along that line, was specifically for situations where someone with a "podium" was able to attack a person, but that person could not defend themselves in like fashion?

If that is the case, Fauna may be at risk, since the account is blocked and she can't respond to any of the attacks, many of them personal, that have been put here.

I am not saying she does not deserve the beating she is getting here, but that doesn't mean squat in the court system.

Wouldn't mind hearing from a real lawyer on this? It kind of sounds like her lawyer told her as long as she has no voice here, she has a case. Rich kind of stepped into that, if I am not wrong.
 
Where I am coming from with that post is not long ago I heard a "lawyer" on a radio show talking about internet discussion boards, and people who threaten libel in order to win a debate. The "lawyer" said as long as that person can post in defense of themselves in that thread, there is no libel, it is only if they are unable to respond that they have a case.

This is my understanding that I found on a site that put it in better words than I can. I would love to see her prove any of what said is false. Incuding any comments on her weight etc. Only lies here are from her mouth.

My understanding is that if it is true there is no libel. I don't see anything wrong with (and I doubt a court would) not allowing someone to come on and "defend" herself against truth. If it was false information, and she was not granted the opportunity, then perhaps there would be a libel case.

Posting things like where they go to church might fall under this?

BTW this is all from Wikipedia like I said, so not concrete law but perhaps something to think about.

I can certainly think of more frivolous lawsuits that ended poorly...
 
sorry for multiple posts, I want to say that Bob Corn-Revere was the lawyer I heard mention this, on a podcast of the old Penn Jillette show. He is a First Amendment attorney.

Again, don't know if this is true, varies by state, a concern, whatever. I would hate to see the subject find a way to hurt anyone else though...and onyl putting this out there for public consumption...

Yeah, I think this is the funniest part of it all. A courtroom is the last place she/he/they want to be. Besides that, I really can't see any lawyer even representing them in this anyway.

The sad thing is that they are continuing to lie, to try and weasel out of what they did. If they would just do the right thing and pay back the money, maybe some people would take down the things they posted about these two. I think all of us want to see the money go to where it belongs, plain and simple. And that is also the most important part of all of this.

What these two did was cold hearted, ruthless, inhumane, cruel, merciless, unimaginable to the rest of us, and so low, that it makes them a disgrace to the human race.

How people could do that to two families in their time of need is just unexcusable. One family lost a husband, and a father. The other family lost a child. They showed all of us the depths of evil, when we were trying to help these two families when they really needed help the most. So we need to show these two, that we will never forget what they did. Until they pay the money that is owed, we should all use the resources we have available to tell the world what they did, and also warn others of what these two are capable of.

When the money is paid back, then we can believe they are sorry for their actions. Until then, I don't think we should even pay attention to anything they say. Actions speak louder than words, and every word out of their mouths has been one lie after the another.

Jeff, and Christina, we all know you are reading this. I'm sure it will all stop if you would do what's right, and pay back the money. You two are going to end up paying a huge price for such a small amount of money. Live and learn, I guess.

A very huge price. Dave, Myself, & a few others wont stop till either your behind bars or you pay back the money you stole from Maggie & Rick.
