    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Jeff Gee -Captive Bred wildlife foundation- Bad Businessman

Its been closer to 3 years. I can't speak for everyone else. Only for me.
I am trying to work with him, because i know that is the only way i will recoup anything. I had a lawyer who would take the case, but you cant get blood from a stone , even when i would have won the case.
Sure I could have done it out of spite, but that makes no sense, Id still be out even more money.
So now im left with my last option, which is to try and get what i can and sell it.
When i say he seems like an ok guy, im speaking of our phone conversations, and the fact we have never let it get to a shouting match or turn ugly.
Im sure he is embarrassed by this whole thing. If I didnt think he was genuinely repentant, I would never have posted this. I want him to be able to still make a living, and Im willing to work with him to resolve this whole thing. Yea, im upset this ever happened, but there are more important things then money. He has said he is sorry, many times, & I forgive him, now we make things right.

More important things that money..Yea like integrity, honesty, compassion, ect.. Which there is an obvious lack of.. So, wanna hand me 8G$, Ill send ya some dirt from my backyard, claim it to be something "magical", apologize and all is well? :) Not ridiculing, just saying..I don't get it. Someone scammed you, plain and clear and with obvious knowledge of doing so. Maybe not at the time, but definately since.. and yet you keep on giving 3 years worth of chances.. Your momma raised you right...and you are a much more forgiving person that myself, and probably more others.. I hope karma is good to you.:)

I am not sure if this is what you meant to say.
I do not think that it has been shown that Jeff knowingly scammed Mike.
I think the problem is he has failed to "step up" and make things right.

is minimizing what Jeff did.
Jeff:
1) Sent mite infested snakes and dismissed complaints about them as being normal. same dismissal with buyer noted Sulcatta problems.
2) At least one of the snakes was undersized, as well as the Sulcatta.
3) He refused to accept a return ( in both cases)
4) In both cases did not honor his own TOS.
5) Jeff refused monetary compensation for sick animals.
6) genetics ( snake) and ability to breed ( tortoise) both became obsolete and made the value of animals significantly less than advertised.

Whatever Jeff's intentions were, I could easily see how all of these tactics/procedures etc... alone or in combination could easily be construed as a scam.
Let's not forget that in three years he hasn't figured out how to log on here and explain some of his actions? disdainful at the very least.

:shrug01: If he just sold a bunch of Albino Sulcatas ($3,000 ea.) shouldn't he have some cash to "make it right"?
 
well. Still nothing. The only thing offered are overpriced hypos. I suppose He got me and from what I hear from others who have known him for many many moons, dont hold my breath.
So, take it for what its worth, he talks a good game, but he's just laughin in my face basicly.
I learned a pricey lesson, dont make the same mistake I did.
I mentioned to him about making payments, he wouldnt even respond to that.
The everytime I see something he has, that I might be able to turn and sell, he is magicly sold out of them and just advertising them to "draw interest".

I'll tell you what Mr. Combs....... He has offered many things for multiple thousands of dollars, and guess what my friends, I know two people who pass his ads with a smile and not looking because of this thread right here... Make that three, I passed on some rosy's he had a while back simply because I had read this post and membered it. lol... I wanted you to know that at least you may have saved someone the same headache or twice or thrice... SO, all was not lost in vain my friend if you save another I guess... I think they didn't even have speed bumps on my street way back when I was a toddler.. Guess what, after I was run over by a speeding biker, whaaalllla, there are speed bumps there now.. Someone always, and I mean always, has to go first!! Bummer of the whole deal is you went first and big at that, but we are reading your updates Mr. Combs, and we do care... Had to post this, so that tis known money will not go that way with an unresolved sit. like this one right here in Az.... 2 cents in... C ya...
 
Make sure you do not let him or the rest of the reptile community forget that he ripped you off.

Long story as explained in one of the first few pages of this thread, but he basically screwed me out of getting in on the initital hypo boa project. When Jeff finally discovered he had something of real value, the price jumped from $350-$500 to $1500.00 for a single animal. Unfortunately, he never honored the price he promised me ($500. for a choice male), and I drove to a show 300-miles away (one way) only to come home empty handed. I was 16 years old at the time, and saved for 3 months for this animal. Apparently it didn't mean much to him, but it did to me.

But that is fine, the hypos I have now are proudly from Rich Isle founding Salmon stock. Rich Isle is someone of tremendous character, and I am sincerely happy to represent his animals. Unlike the other AZ piece of solid excrement.....

Thanks for explaining. You certainly made a better choice going with Isle's boas.
 
Update, kinda, nothing new to report. Only that I have had contact in the last couple weeks, I emailed him about making payments, he wont even respond to that:angry:, he just tells me I should have taken the overpriced hypos, which like the original boas he sold me for 8k would probally be loaded with mites.:NoNo:
I actually just sold the Normal boas he sold me as dh albino leoaprds for $8,000, I sold them as what they are, normals, for around $200 :reddevil:

He also, informs me that the economy is bad...oh really:ack2:

Here is the bottom line...I tried to be a very patient person and work with him this past year to get things right, when i would see something he had advertised for sale, and I would tell him I would take that, he would say he was sold out of it, and only posting it to draw interest to the project!:censored:
He also has been running an ad look for 15 top quality radiated torts, we know how much they go for.:censored:
SO...If you are considering buying from him, run the other way as quick as possible. If you do decide to deal with him, I wish you the best of luck, and you might, might be ok.
Dont forget, I'm not the only one he owes money to, or has dealt with in an underhanded manner.
 
One thing I forgot, If you have any questions or need clarification on anything I have said, feel free to get in touch. EVERYTHING iI have said is 100% true and accurate. In the begining of this thread, someone posted a reply from Jeff Gee , he basicly said I had some facts wrong, or I was twisting...Not one bit!
I have emails, and hard facts to support everything I have said.
If your going to do business with him, and he tells you something contrary to what I have said, get in touch with me and I will tell you the TRUTH.

Hey mike, I actually thought about buying those boas when I saw them on kingsnake, guess I thought too long. Jeff will get his in the end, and I believe you will get yours, you have been nothing but a standup guy this whole time........best of luck
