    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

He stated he was going to cancel the payments and deals because of the harrassment he says he recieved from ppl on this site in emails. Again tho I agree its not a good move, but he is not jacking the prices because he learned of their value, just he doesnt want to do business with ppl associated with this site due assumptions and harrassment.

Frankly, I would NOT buy an animal that has to be SHIPPED to me but the payment goes to ANOTHER STATE with SOMEONE ELSES NAME ON THE CHECK OR MONEY ORDER.

Even though there is no proof and there's a lot of assumptions, they are LOGICAL assumptions and the conclusions are based on past events that had similar set ups. IF anything went wrong, the buyers would have little or no recourse in getting their money back as the seller can claim he never got the money.

As far as I know, he still hasn't given the buyer a requested picture with ID and we have really have no way of knowing exactly whose name is on the check, he can claim he never got paid...nah, too many red flags..but you go ahead and send him your money and then let us know how it worked. I will be one of the first to apologize.:yesnod:

Our "harassment" has nothing to do with his business deals with his customers! I get tired of people falling for that diversion tactic all the time!!:angry:
 
This is silly.
I do not know about any harassing emails? Maybe if Jerry posts them I would understand, but it seems like he is not willing to carry out his prior agreements with people who have sent him funds. Did the people who sent him $$ start harassing him? I would understand him canceling those deals. But what about the people who have trusted him from the start? He is going to arbitrarily cancel all deals because 1 or 2 people have pissed him off?
Now he is saying he is looking to sell to someone local although as far as I know he never contacted anyone local. His ads were posted here first, will someone who is local to Jerry come forward and verify this "new" deal?

For what its worth. I'm relatively local and told Jerry I could meet up with him and we exchanged some emails early on (before the ad had prices and pics) and he responded promptly and told me that he was selling because he was moving. We never got down to numbers or talking about payment so I can't speak to that because I ended up making another trade/purchase but for what it's worth he did respond to me as a local.
 
If she refuses the check wont it be returned to the sender? Would this be better?

Do you mean wait till the letter carrier is handing the letter/check to your fiance, then your fiance say's" I don't want that" and the letter carrier then returns the check to the sender?

I just don't understand what started his grievance?
A few kids send him nasty emails, he gets upset and cancel his agreements with the "good guys".
Maybe Jerry has not been around long enough to remember people like the wises, Chris Johnson, Matt Graybeal, Jesse Underhill etc. etc. etc. etc.....
The good people who visit this site frequently are not saying he is a bad guy, only that caution is required because believe it or not, some people make a comfortable living taking advantage of other peoples tendency to trust "nice" guys..
Come on Jerry, offer up the requested information, and honor your agreement to sell to the people who have sent you $$ already.
I will be the second to apologize..:)

The person you are addressing is the one that requested the pic with ID, AND the person that decided to hold off on sending money until somebody else received their snake & posted.

Harald, the bolded is the part I was responding to. He wants to give people a chance, he's welcome to. He withdraw HIS money because he felt "iffy" about the deal, yet is willing to let someone else send their money referencing "wait a week." YET, he wouldn't follow though himself?

However, I didn't recall that he was the one that requested the picture.:ack2:
 
I suggested a fresh pic of animals and or show a drivers license shot?? Something, anything? I have no problems putting peoples minds at ease with full information... Jerry shouldn't either?? Unless??

I will agree to do this but have no intentions on doing business right now, just whatever it takes to get you guys off my back, even though I have done nothing wrong except "price my animals at too good to be true prices"??? Soooo sorry I didnt know the market as I have never looked into selling snakes before just buying but I now know the value of them and will price them accordingly. You guys just tell me what you want from me. Its to the point where Im ready to change my email, never did I think I would have to go through this crap to sell ball pythons! Ill keep them and pay extra to ship them down to me before I will go through this headache again. I undestand the concerns and all but I dont understand the many people posting assumptions and emailing me down right wrong emails when you havent even spoke to me. Its just to much for me right now, glad I figured this out before I hatched out babies and had to do this.

Obviously you don't understand, if you did you would provide the verification asked for, and would honor your agreements.
 
Just like Casey mentioned Jerry?? It's real simple; then a good guy post goes up... As it stands; it ain't looking good... I haven't emailed you once, and won't... Shoot me a pic of your drivers license and I'll start changing my mind about you... You can google my name and a plethora of info comes up to know I'm a live kickin unit; you; nadda?? When is your first shipment planned for?? And by the by; kudos for not flippin your lid like most; actually starting to show something to me... With your numbers; somebody for sure was all over you locally; did you complete a deal that can be verified??

Which is me asking how you would like me to provide the verification asked for, incase you didnt understand that either.... That's not exactly true. The prices were only ONE red flag among many. Here are some others:

-- Refusing paypal
-- Offering two different reasons for refusing paypal
-- Asking for money orders to be sent to an entirely different person in a different state
-- Backing out of deals with people who have already sent money just because you're "irritated with someone else"

There may very well be legitimate reasons for all those flags. But taken all together, they do make a somewhat alarming picture. Instead of blaming people who are asking for answers...why not blame the multitude of jerks who came before you who really WERE scammers and who branded all those red flags on the minds of honest people who simply want to buy healthy animals at reasonable prices?

I can understand your frustration....but I beg of you, please understand the frustrations of those trying to follow your story as well. Be patient and offer reasonable proof to mitigate the alarms that the red flags produce...AND HONOR THE DEALS YOU HAVE ALREADY BEEN PAID FOR.....and you'll be very successful in the long run, despite a bumpy start.

Get all defensive with a bad attitude and back out of deals with honest people just because you're annoyed at something someone else did.....and you're done for.
 
For what it's worth Jerry; there a multitude of guys I know with reeeeediculous collections of boas and pythons that don't distribute on the net simply because of the aforementioned stuff.. You should have no problem shooting me a shot of your D.L. Do you?? I will be satisfied with just about that alone; seriously... Have you done this for anyone for anyone who paid you since they are not responding at all on here?? It will not be publicized by me at all and I can send you one of mine as well for fun... My info is all over my posts; all straight to my phone and immediate...
 
I guess that's what I get for typing with food in my hands.. Bombed my last post completely... What I meant to say was; some guys I know are quite frankly; frightened to death at the scrutiny of being a new breeder/vendor/seller on the two main sites, and they have collections that rival most, but... It's a daunting task to establish a decent rep... So here we/you are?? Nothing yet from you Jerry; it can come in the form of a cellphone pic and textmessage?? That would only take a sec??
 
Sure I will send a pic tom... I will send my ID on top of the mojave spider as I told a guy that I would send him a pic with my ID on top of that snake.... Do you mind if I cover up personal info such as my DL# or is that "scammerish"
