Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was scammed once.. I will say.. I even met the guy that scammed me in person.. man was he nice, wanting to help me etc etc..


Even if this guy does pan out to be a non scammer.. selling an animal, and then saying "sorry, I can get more money elsewhere" is a really low blow.. and not someone I would want to send money to anyhow..

I dont think he stopped the deals because he wanted more profit, but because ppl jumped him via email as a scammer. I do agree that backing out after recieving funds is not a good business practice, but I just wanna try to keep the facts straight. Atleast the facts that were posted on here.

Heres the post from him about cancelling payments, I interpret it as hes pissed about the harrasment via email and doesnt want to deal with it...

This just seems like a dragging out event. Even if the guy is legit I would leave it alone anyway. I offered to meet him in person as he is about 40 min from me and never recieved a reply. A friend of mine also emaild him with no reply. If he was honest these animals would have been long gone to a local sale already. I emailed him about 25 min after the ad was posted. And at 3am Chicago time I doubt he was already "flooded" with emails.
I thought at the beginning of the thread Hulker said he sent him a large sum for all his females. Im sure there are more than one or two people who are going to be fighting for their money back.
Jerry, if you would care to respond I can come out tomorrow or SAT and will personally buy the bee from you. In Person with cold hard cash.
 
ya i dont get the no communications with locals thing...local deals way easier no shipping and done deal...my email to him was answered promptly though it contained nothing about being local as i am not. if anyone DID send him direct emails accusing him that would be a little out of line but if it was just interested and/or involved parties asking legitamate questions i dont see a problem with that.

im really confused about the bailing on estalished deals though...thats just not something somone who really wants to move animals to the point that they cut prices so low does...

Odd, I interpreted as: He's making excuses for backing out of deals. :ack2:

A true business man would take PLEASURE in sending his product and thumbing his nose at his distractors by having us read about his praises on the BOI when those that received their product announced that they were satisfied.:)

I did get his pic, and he did have a Illinois liscense with the name Jerry Boyd on top of the mojobee but he did have his pic covered, I did ask if he could show his face, and if he would allow me to post the pic up here. So now we wait for his permission to use his photo.

I agree full on with you Deb.

This just seem like more excuses and back peddling to me.

Now if we where seeing threads or posts from people who actually received the animals and saw pics of him holding the animals this tune may change.

That pic is his property and if I post it publicly wouldnt that be an infringement of copyright laws? Especially since he specifically asked me not to share it....

What's the problem? He has their money, ship their animal..sounds pretty simple to me.

If the hold up is he's waiting for the money to clear the accounts, can't we at least have someone close go and verify that he does have the animals ??

Otherwise it's just appearing to be a stall tactic to me and YOU are assisting. :shrug01:

I agree, if he has their money ship the animal, if he does back out then yes ship the money back however it works for the buyer. Preferably the first.

If I was close then I'd be more than happy too.

I didnt have enough information to make an assumption before, I have just recently recieved more info. And in combined with his recent actions I am not getting an animal from him. I was hoping to he would really come to here and resolve this but hasnt. I just give ppl more of a chance than others I guess.

If in fact he is a scammer I would be the first to apologize, but until proven so Im just gonna let it be for now.

To everyone out there I will clarify. I do not know Jerry Boyd, I dont vouche for him except that he has been very polite in the communications between me and him. I AM NOT IN ANY WAY INTENTIONALLY ASSISTING HIM!!!

I'm not sure what Deb meant by that. So I just wanted it to be clear.

I havent done many online dealings and I maybe too trusting to do so.:shootfoot

I appreciate everyones concern and information. And hope the best for those that sent him cash.
