    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

No offense, Clay... but I really think just letting these two fix things up is best. The time for "he's wrong, no he's wrong, no he's wrong" is over. Ever heard the expression, let sleeping dogs lay?

I also think a screenshot would be great, but at this point... I think letting that stuff go is going to be best for both parties so they can move on.

But that's just me.
 
Em is right on the money... and that's one of the reasons I quit posting. I saw that Jim was trying to do the right thing.. now Im staying out of it in hopes that he will.

Jim, I've got to say that, while I don't know what happened to give you a change of heart, I am SOOOO glad to see it. No promises, but I'm in the process of looking into new cages. The way things were going, I wasn't considering you. No promises, but I could see doing business with the new you!

Thank you for your offer Jim! I was sitting here contemplating that for a couple reasons, I was wondering, because its happened before with other things, when you take something apart after it has been togeather for quite sometime, it never seems to go back together properly, but I don't know with this material.

The second reason, would it benefit you to just send a complete cage, or multipals of different parts so you dont burn material and have a bunch of waste? If this is the case, I would settle for a complete one, (with no Pilot Holes) lol or another thing, if theres not much difference in shipping cost, would you send one chemically welded? I would really love to see one in person.

I really appreciate you working with me Jim, Thank you. And when we had our first encounter via emails, I really am sorry we had to butt heads like we, I really wish it would have went differently.

Josh, That cage shipped assembled is $30 more but what the heck, I will send you a assembled cage minus the heat and light for your troubles.
If you want to get heat for it just order a 28 watt heat panel from Rich at RBI
And the light you can get at home depot.
I will send you the hardware to hook the light and heat panel up.

That is rather big of you, thanks Jim for going the extra mile I must say I am pleasantly surprised. I do have an extra light because I bought an extra when 3 of the 4 that came with burned out just in case the 4th one did too so that will work out great.

I am excited to see what your assembled cage looks like and will report to everyone on here when I get it what it looks like! :thumbsup:

3 lights went out ? it happens but 3 of them, I hear about lights going bad but only about 3 people a year. sorry you had 3 go bad.
I will put a light in this cage also now.
I hope when you bought new lights you returned the bad ones.

It's so great to see this come to an end in a positive way!

I have only had great experiences dealing with Jim on three separate orders.
I own 3 cages and 3 racks from Jim and couldn't be happier with them.

The first shipment I received two 24"x16"x18" complete cages disassembled.
I didn't open the box to set the cages up when the came in because I was going out of town and planned on setting them up when I got back.

When I finally got around to setting up the cages upon opening the box I found one of the glass doors was broken.

Since it was like 3 weeks after I had received the cages I didn't tell Jim because I should have checked everything when they arrived. I had a piece of Acrylic that I cut to use as a temp door.

The acrylic started to warp after a while and I wanted to replace it with glass. About 6 months later I made another order with Jim for a Rack and another cage. I asked Jim if I could purchase a glass door from him so I could get rid of the acrylic one. He asked me what happened and I told him that it was cracked during shipping but to much time went passed for me to bother him with it. Jim told me I should have notified him right away and I agreed. Jim sent me the glass door free of charge with my order which I thought was really cool of him to do because he didn't have too. This was months after the fact and he didn't ask for proof he just sent it free of charge when I was willing to pay for it.

The end result here is a great one and is the Jim that I know and have dealt with!
Congratulations to the both of you in resolving this issue!!

Wow... Im shocked at the turn of events. Jim I dont know what made you change your mind, but I applaud you for it.

It really appears like your trying to do what you can to make things right. :thumbsup:

It is unfortunate this thread even exists, If I was not under the original attack I would have made good with Josh's cages, it was brought to a place that I have hard feelings with and the band wagon began again so I stayed away.
I should not have treated Josh the way I did even if he treated me the way he did, I would have done the same thing he did if I was in his shoes so I can not really blame him, I just needed to learn from my mistake on how I handled it.
 
Robert. I am deeply sorry for saying what I did. My temper got the best of me when I felt like you were attacking my character. I found myself telling myself that I would probably do the same thing if put in the exact same situation. But that would be making excuses for further poor behavior. I really want to learn from my mistake though. While my words were effective at getting you off of me, it left me feeling bad about the way I did it. Plus if it really did shut you down then I robbed the Fauna family of your contributions as we both learn the ropes of what it means to be here together. I was a complete hypocrite for using my communication skills to dish you a sucker punch rather than finding a way of getting you off of me without hurting you like I did. I am sorry. Please stay in the game and realize that we are both new here and I did get my hand slapped and I really deserved it. I am sorry.

Hey, I didnt know where the lights came from, and I bought the new ones online, but i do still have them all, I guess im kinda A hoarder lol would you like me to send them back to you, and you can try and get them exchange and use them yourself? If so, let me know.

If it is worth it to you to send them back I can return them, they are $10 each at Home Depot. then refund you the $30 or you could buy new ones at home depot and return the bad ones. and then you would have spares ones. ?
I sell the lights for $15 and I mount them, I probably loose $ on offering the lights because it adds a extra 2" of box space plus the added packing for it.
 
The closest Home Depot is about 2 hours from me, but I will just ship them back to you and call it good for the extra $30 for shipping A assembled cage. I'll cover the shipping also.

I put in a totally different style light strip, i'll send you pics of them and maybe offer them in some of your cages! Also, with you chemically welding them, how do I install A heat panel? Would it be weasier to pay you for A heat panel and installing it?
