    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Jim Scharphorn - Bad Guy

Guys I will attempt to post here and try and answer some questions

For starters I will not try to be rude but I exspect the same in return.
If any of you attack me then I am out of here.

I have never received a return cage that was shipped disassembled.
I have replaced cages in years past when I use to sell them assembled because they were damaged in shipping but everyone of those cages were chemically welded and I did get the damaged cage back but again it was chemacally welded.
If I assemble the cage they are chemically welded.

The starter of this thread got new cages not a single part was used because I do not have any used cages that are screwed together, I have many used cages sitting here not being used but everyone of them are chemically welded.

I would also like to add I admit I am a jerk and blow off the handel easily.
Everyone of you posting on this thread is no different then me, your attacking me or anyone that posts in my behalf so you are all jerks as well so what makes you any different then me ?

And Joshua, you filed a claim for every dollar ! your the lier in this post about me.
I have many many customers and your the only one that has acused me of wrong doing.
You were out to rip me off and you have lied and made me look like the bad guy, you even threatened me that if I did not fullfil your wants that you would post it here.

And seeing you want to lie again about not filing a paypal complaint and trying to get every dollar back here it is in your face, I just pulled this off my paypal account.

Well I do not know what to say, usually you guys are right on the slamming, I posted proof he is lying and no response now.

Something else that needs to be mentioned for the newer people around here.

About 10 or 12 years ago I posted on this site for the first time and I posted a bad guy post to find out it was a well respected guy that was on this forum, I chose to pursue it in the wrong fashion just like all my posts.
I said this guy was a bad guy and I got slammed by many and some of those guys that slammed me are the same guys that are slamming me still today.
It took about 2 years and finally this bad guy I posted about was found to be bad by the rest of the members here.
I never got a single apology from anyone of these guys but they still choose to slam me still today and this is why you see so many pages of me as a bad guy because they must feel the need to still hurt me.
These guys have never dealt with me they just formed there own opinion and found someone they can bash.
I am a good guy, I never ripped anyone off in this business.
I have this one guy that posted this thread that I just provided one part of his lie.
I can not or do not know how I would ever provide proof of everything else he has lied about.

Then I had the problem about 8 years ago with Tim Bowels, I told him a snake I got from him was dead on arrival.
It was the wrong thing to do.
Tim and I were friends but something happened and he did something to me and pissed me off, I do not recall exactly what it was but the original thread would say what it was.
Anyway I told him the snake arrived dead, I did it in a mean fashion and only meant it to get him as riled up as I was. I told him I think hours later that the snake did not show up dead, I did not intend to rip him off, I only intended to ruffle his feathers.
It was the wrong thing to do but I probably would do it again if that same situation happened again.

Really.... then why didn't you send out the missing parts. You told him to go buy them elsewhere. He already bought them once.... from you. You failed to send them out.... You ripped him off!
 
Sorry, but I don't call that proof. You could easily have edited that information. Please give us a screen shot.

Also I think I understand what Josh was doing. He may have disputed both payments, but only as a fail safe in case one was turned down. He still had a chance one would go through. And to be fair... your attitude would have convinced me to pursue a dispute with Paypal as well. I would have been sending your cages back and demanding a full refund then taking my business to another company that can deal with my issues no matter what they are or how frustrating I might be.

Just because you had the guy's cash didn't give you the right to say "tough luck, now go away". It should be even MORE of an incentive to make things right instead of letting your temper and foul mouth get you into trouble. :NoNo:

You keep putting that nail further in your coffin, buddy. Saying you have never had another customer complain, yet in your email to me you said you "get one jerk a year".

I was never out to rip you off and never asked for ANY money back until you refused to own up and replace the missing and damaged parts. I just wanted what I paid for. For the most part, I love my cages, but I would still like them to look perfect because I paid for them to.

Thank you for saving me the trouble of looking up the PayPal claim. As you can clearly see, I asked for $425 refund, not ALL of my money. The claim was immediately denied. Then you said "dude kiss my :censored::censored: we are :censored: done" and went on to further insult and degrade me. The next day I tried to file again changed my claim to $525 because I had discovered more problems with your cages and you still refused to help me. Again, $525 is NOT a 100% refund. That claim was also immediately denied.

NOW WHAT? Bring it, I have nothing to hide.

Replace the crap you sent me and the parts you never did. Otherwise we have nothing to discuss.

Ya I new that was coming, I am not going to post a screen shot because it may have my info on it.
I have no reason to lie about it, to you my name is mud anyway.

Joshua lied about things, he continually accused me, I do not take that kind of abuse lying down and I stood up for what I thought was right whether it be right or wrong.

I know this will not make me a good guy but to Joshua what do you need to make you happy ?
Let me know what you would like and I will see if I am willing to work with you.
 
Joshua, you bought a couple cages for $425 and then the next day you added 2 more cages and a base I think for $525 so you will see 2 different dates
You filed a paypal claim for all the money the same day and time as shown because those 2 dates are the same.

JIM!!!(Goes up to Jim and shakes him by the shoulders). You had a magnificent post a couple posts back about seeing what you could do to please your customer, that's what it's all about.

LEAVE THE OTHER STUFF ALONE. Stop bickering, do something nice, use your obvious strengths to mend this rift and then....leave it alone.

Jim, not to get in a back and forth with you but we both know that's not really what happened. You went on another manufactures good guy post and posted this.

You were a manufacture that thought it was cool to go around posting on other manufactures good guy posts that yours were better.

That's what started your issues here. When you later had a problem with Matt people were more than willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because you already had a bad track record here. It really was you that put yourself in that situation. When later it turned out that Matt was a bad person to do business with, you can go back and see that he may have been lying about the transaction between the two of you but there was no evidence beforehand. You caused that situation when your first post after coming off suspension from this site was to start posting how other manufactures products were not as good as yours. You did this on their good guy threads. So be honest about it and not post half-truths.

Just apologize. You did it but if you make a conscious effort not to do stuff like that AT ALL in the future, that's all you can do.

You can't hold the future hostage and say 'If I do this then...'
You have to just decide to do what's right no matter what.
 
And start by making amends with Josh, no hooks or 'yes, buts' just do you best.

Then make amends with the others you have hurt.

And then just be a good vendor and make good cages.

Sure you can. You just kind of did. Just like I'm man enough to admit that we may have been wrong about the transaction you had with Matt. It is clear now that he couldn't be trusted to tell the truth. Simply had more to do with the attitude that you gave to everyone with the transaction that may have colored the facts. It's been so long that I don't remember all the facts with Matt. What I do know is that Casey never had a complaint before you criticized is product. When you posted about Matt he had almost a 100 positive transactions and nothing bad posted yet. When you put those two things together it appeared that you were the problem.

I'm willing to give you the benefit that you were telling the truth about Matt without going back and looking at the thread. Considering you are apologizing to Casey. Now, hope cooler heads can prevail and the current situation can be resolved for both.
