My dealings with Polanco are as follows:
1. I sold him 4 Guyana emeralds that were perfect for $800.00 for the four of them. Three months later when he was mad he said two of them died and I owed him $400.00. They were perfect up until that day. He freezes all of his animals so I asked for the bodies. When I told him I had pics of them he said he threw them out. He simply lied to me. He said if I didn't pay him he would let everyone know I sold him bad animals. He is now selling one of the remaining poor souls as a potential 'Black' emerald. This possible one of three in the US will only cost $750.00. If I really thought it would be 1 of 3 it would be $7,500.00. Possible inflated price for a normal emerald? By the way, I have an emerald that is a possible Het for invisiblism. $1,000.00
2. I bought a 'Basin" from him for $1,000.00. Her name is Tina. She was supposed to be problem free. She couldn't go to the bathroom properly. She also puked after 7 days. He refunded my money when I called him on the bad deal.
3. I was going to trade a 'Basin' to Polanco for 4 babies. When he said they were ugly I said no deal and he said o.k.. Later he said Buddy Goetzger wanted to trade. To make a long story short, Buddy was giving me a couple of his babies and Joe was throwing in two ugly ones. I was to ship the 'Basin' to Buddy and he was to ship her to Polanco. Buddy was very honest about it after I e-mailed him one day when I heard of the scam by Joe. Joe got mad at me for catching him and called me every name in the book for 20 minutes. Buddy and I became good friends! Buddy and Joe are no longer friends.
4. I had a 'Basin' for sale. Polanco e-mailed me and said, Buddy was offered that snake for $1,500.00 and he turned it down so how much do you want. I told Polanco he was wrong on the figure. He called Buddy and asked him to lie to me and say that was the figure. Buddy told him to go fly a kite.
5. Polanco publically said as with him, many of my customers have had bad deals with me. And that I also don't take care of my customers and sell bad animals. Not True in either case.
6. Polanco has threatened to kick my butt at this years expo. "When we meet face to face you are going to need to be as big as your mouth."
7. My posts continuously get bashed and berated on his forum by him and if I reply, it gets deleated.
I am a big boy but this guy needs to be exposed. Today he even turned on one of his friends when they questioned him about the abuse toward me. Any replys would be appreciated.

'> YEAH----JOE IS A PRETTY TOUGH GUY TO TAKE---my experience with him was i sold him a nice emerald at almost half price---3 months later he wanted a refund because it was puking(never did at my place--he must have something airborne)-regardless--he gave me a list of people to contact that would vouge for him and he said they would advise me to give him a refund because they would do the same for him----well i called his bluff--the one guy he had emphasized the most said 3 months???i would not give joe polanco a 3 hour guarantee---needless to say, being the big pushover that i am--i still offered joe half credit and he turned it down saying that he would send me half a snake for half credit--i said keep the snake and take half credit--still no good---he wanted full credit on an $800 emerald that i sold to him for $400 3 MONTHS LATER!!!---he is a joke and so is his dictatorship board---i think matt is correct when he says that he starts beleiving his own lies--because after he posted on his board about the incident, and every poster on the entire board came to my defense--MY(BEN SIEGEL) DEFENSE ON JOES BOARD-he still beleives he is in the right--he lives in a dream world---i just wish kingsnake would reopen the tree boa forum----and the whole post deltion thing is absolutely true to the note---i mean there were a few of us reading it right before it was being deleted--it was like he was sweating at home just pounding away at the delete button--too funny!any way--the name usually brings cringing facial expressions to whoever you mention it to and even after numerous civil e-mail attempts by me--he is still being a child. To each his own--some people thrive on anger---it keeps them going--they usually do not live to long.
