Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

OK..... I have been contacted by Mr. S. numerous times just today.... I'd post our email string, but he quite simply is a foul mouth bully... Anybody that stands with, or for this guy; should really be ashamed; I am laughing of course at his idle threats, and am completely embarrassed by his actions myself... KelliH; this guy isn't worth the waste he creates in his own bathroom... What I did do for the "community;" is send him some pics so he can think about his filthy mouth... I mentioned that someday he'd meet and greet an equal; he talks the talk; ya ain't walkin the walk Big J... Where's the phone call I requested??
 
I just had a rather pleasant conversation with Mr. S.. Ripley's believe it or not!! lol.. I had him pegged completely in the wrong direction.. He is a very nice feller actually; and apologized wholeheartedly for "the comment" that put him in the "hotseat..." That may not be enough to remedy the situation; but it sure felt warm and genuine to me... Not sure if he was able to apologize in public; but he agreed that I could do it for him here and now... John; you and I had a nice convo; keep that up, watch the four letter words, and I think that the good people in this bus. can see through some of the dust that was churned up.. KelliH; I am so sorry for the loss of your son; I have a ten year old; I couldn't imagine the feelings associated.. I hope this helps even in the slightest??

It's nice that he apologized to you.
 
You know, I have to say that it really shows the character of people when they use your dead son against you.

This isn't the first time it's happened to me either. Ron Tremper got all butthurt about a thread that was posted on GeckoForums once, and he not only called and threatened to sue me for everything I was worth, he also said something that to this day still shocks me. He said, "I cannot believe you would allow a thread like that to stay up about me. I even sent you a nice note after your son died.", referring to an email he wrote me. Nice huh?

Then there was Matt Greybill that was stealing money from people and when I posted that I thought it was wrong of him to do so in his BOI thread here, he commented that I was a terrible person to say such a thing because he had donated an item to the Hayden Fund. It turned out that he was lying about that though.

There have been other examples as well, jasballs being the most recent. Why they do this I am not sure, maybe because they know it's a weakness for me.

And Tom, I appreciate your comments about my son, and I appreciate your comments about Mr. jasballs. I'm going to have to stop reading and replying to this thread now.
 
ah Tom, a zebra can't change his stripes. However you gloss over John's conversation with you, doesn't change the fact that he is a POS. He's hood-winked you. End of story. His comments about Kelli's loss can never be retracted, no matter how much he tries. I just hope to God he never experiences what Kelli went through. Kelli can forgive, but can never forget,.... me neither.

Yes... he may have amazing animals (as some puts it).... but he's not the only one out there with amazing animals... and personally Id rather spend my money with one of the others that shows to have a moral compass.
 
Let's see:

(1) Calling a 13 year old girl the vilest name you can call a female.

(2) Making fun of someone's deceased child.

I could go on but those two examples should be enough for most people who's heads aren't lodged in warm and smelly places.

If he was the only guy selling ball pythons, I'd get into boas.

Since he's NOT the only game in town, and given his long history of treating alot of nice people like verbal punching bags, there's no excuse for continuing to give him your business.

You give him your business you are condoning his behavior - plain and simple.
 
Not trying to beat a dead horse here Tom but his apology seems a bit untimely. Even if you overlook the fact that it was not directed to the person it should have been, you have to wonder what he is sorry for. Is he sorry he said it? If that were the case, I am sure he would have apologized to Kelli a long time ago. Could it be he is only sorry because he is just now seeing that members of the reptile community outside the BOI and Fauna also found his actions despicable and it really is effecting his reputation, regardless of what he produces? Keep in mind that less than 24 hours before your conversation, he posted on another forum admitting to the comment made about Kelli's child, and stating he is capable of going even lower. He had plenty of opportunity in that thread, before he got booted, to apologize. He didn't.
 
Please re-read my back to back posts... He got crazy with me; I sent him some pics... Those pics; will make him think from now on... I absolutely guarantee that... Wish I could share them with all... But; you gotta trust me... He ain't my new bud; he is a human being; and he can change.... If; he really applied himself... I understand everybody's thoughts on the matter and share the same virtues; I called him names too; he immediately emailed me; I jumped right on the horn with the man as I hate to tapdance... Trust me; I was ready to rip n tear on him; but he had a heart and is still a decent human being...

So, just for clarification....if someone is BANNED, is the banned logo placed under their name for every post made prior to the banning of the individual? i.e. if I made posts in 2003 and got banned in 2010..would my 2003 post show me as being banned?

Bad karma for not showing "the pics?" To the unnamed party; all ya had to do was ask nicely.. They ain't very appropriate... You can apologize like a real man or woman; and ask nicely; can you??

Kelli; I'm glad you posted the email from John; I hope it eases the hurt a little... That was big of him IMHO... Thank you to both...
 
I agree with Tom (daMan) wholeheartedly. Banned or not, I think it is completely relevant that John made a heartfelt apology....and very honorable of Kelli to post it. Evidently John can be a real turd (no disrespect meant, John), but he obviously sells spectacular animals and provides great service to most if not all of his clients, if I was in the market, would have no problem dealing with him.
