    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have purchased a number of chelonians from Justin Mitcham with no problems whatsoever. The specimens were as described and in excellent condition. He has offered tortoises and aquatic turtles at very fair prices and sends outstanding specimens....I would not hesitate doing business with him and would recommend him to others who desire quality specimens. Seemingly, when you see a negative post concerning an individual, you should always consider that there is most certainly another side to the that post. :D

I have placed almost 30 chacos domestically in the past few months with experts like Russ Gurley etc.. every person has been VERY happy, I sent this guy my best including animals I was going to keep for myself and ??? ...right... there is absolutley nothing wrong with the animals I sent and it is not my fault that there not what he thought they would be,I am not paying for him to "window shop". I sold these to him at wholesale cost for 255.00ea plus $70.00 for a 4hr. plane ride and $10 for box and heat packs, not 300.00ea. and it doesn't matter just shows that this guy will alter any detail if it benefits his story.
Hmm... almost a month later and not one of those non-eating ,dehydrated, emaciated chacos has died... this is a VERY delicate species..no way would they of survived even with vet. care if they were in the shape suggested...

WOW here we go again, this comming from a known smuggler, a known backstabbing informant ...come on...thought you were going to sue me or something that what that elaborate lie you were so publically busted in was for, wasn't it, well guess what no suit and I guess that was a lie to...so how was hidding under that rock the past several months been... there seems to be lots of people out there internationally who are VERY upset at you... have you been hiding...did you ever take care of Kevin... why was there a mob of people looking for you at Daytona???(me included) why did you cancel going at the last moment, you had a table and everything...does your back hurt!! Funny hows there all these rumors out there regarding you, smuggling, turning people into the fed's etc... what a soap opera..tell me it's not true, so where's all your dirt on me... please some facts...not fabrications.You accuse but never give facts, I have been doing this for almost a decade now, have to be something out there concreate that you can use...c'mon...me such a big crook and all with such a bad reputation..After 10 years it should preceed me now don't you think.... c'mon really...show me the dirt!!

I was looking at the dates of the posts and I have noticed that until the last two posts, there has not been a comment on this since 4/03? I got all excited for a moment and thought Corey had popped back up.

Same here Kevin. The last I heard about Corey was that he had disappeared (no contact info). Has anyone heard from him since the rumors of being busted in an illegal reptile sting surfaced ?

Just curiousity. P.S. I have done business with Justin before, and Dave (WW of Pets) is one of the classiest, most reliable guys in the business. Justin is a little loud (guess it's that youth thing), but all in all a pretty solid guy :)

I too am confused. I just re-read all the post and see no where that Corey is posting again. I believe that Justin is having hallucinations of Corey Posting or something.
 
Chaco Tortoise's from Justin Mitcham

Today, I received a pair of Argentine, AKA Chaco Tortoises and I couldn't be happier. They are an adult, sexual pair in immaculate condition . . These are the best Chaco's I have seen and am very thankful I was able to obtain them from a reputable indivdual. Thank you Justin, they are even more that what you described.:D
 
So after months of inactivity this thread is boosted by Earl complimenting Justin, replied to by Justin thanking Earl and then bashing Corey, and then Earl posting again to compliment Justin.

Steven, I am not "bashing " anyone....however, when I trust someone such as your friend who owns Sawzoo and am scammed out of my money .... I react as most individuals who work hard for their money would ---- On the other hand, when I send money to a reptile dealer whose word is apparently good and delivers what is ordered in excellent condition--- well, I think positive remarks are both earned andd deserved....if you disagree, well that is your choice.......personally, I don't care what you think---- explaining something to you is similiar to attempting to explain a sunset to a man born blind----Shalom....E.Turner:D
 
Justin is a good guy in my book too!!!!!

I bought a monkey tail skink off Justin a few months back and was more than pleased with the whole deal. The packaging was more than above par and the animal was in excellent condition, not to mention the more than fair price. I emailed him and spoke to him on the phone. I asked him several questions about the skink and he answered them all. One of my concerns was whether the skink had been treated for worms and other parisites, Justin said he had treated the skink that I was buying and that he was 100% healthy, which a vet later confirmed to be true!!!
When the MTS arrived he was awesome, big and fat which is rare when buying this particular species, he ate immediatley and was very friendly. This is not an easy species to determine sex, I told Justin I was looking for a male and he said that this skink was a male. Three months after quarentine this guy locked up with 2 of my females confirming not only did Justin sell me a healthy skink but also he had proporley sexed him!!!
Justin is an honest guy in my book and I would definatley do Biz with him again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just for the record,
I don't know Justin nor have I ever done business with him.
I do know Earl Turner, Very Well at that. If Earl says that he conducted business with Justin and he is very impressed with the animals brought fourth from that transaction, then Justin has done well. I've seen Earl's collection and It is absolutely immaculate. I can promise you that he holds people that he conducts business with to the highest standard. If he gives Mr. Mitcham praise then he obviously earned it. My point is that if you are calling Earl Turner's integrity into question you are barking up the wrong tree. Period.

I said that Justin bashed Corey after Earl revived the thread, never said anything other than that.

Earl revived this thread by complimenting Justin, Justin used it as an opportunity to combat Corey again, and Earl followed one more time with a compliment to Justin

Isn't that what I said the first time?


I have nothing against Earl, he comes highly spoken for by some friends that I trust.

I simply posted an equally quizical reply just like a few others upon seeing this post boosted.

I do not appreciate being insulted, either.
 
I did a trade with justin after he was purchasing a snake from me, We ended up trading the snake he wanted for some snakes he had. He did what he said and I was very pleased with the snakes he sent me. the snakes were way above average at the lowest possible price he could give me. I would do business with him anytime. Hopefully Me and donna will see you in Daytona this year.

Just another warning that Justin is posting turtles for sale again. Avoid this guy. He sent me miserable animals and has not come through on promises he made me correct the situation.
 
Unhealthy tort.s my A$$ , the other 30+ torts I sold to educated and renowned individuals like Earl Turner and Russ Gurley were all healthy, they were sold from the same batch you got yours from and Earls group were in fact bought a few days after you recieved yours, you can read post on the BOI proclaiming how nice fat and healthy they are,in fact the best he's ever seen, not my fault you didn't know what you were buying and no way am I going to let you scam me into paying for your window shopping.The turtles you bought were even picked out over Earls by you personally, so you managed to pic ALL THE BAD ONES, Whatever, You even lied on here on how much you paid for them trying to inflate the situation, how pathetic, so I am supposed to believe you after you make up stuff, in one post they were alive but you said they were fixen to die, then you claimed they were still alive then days later you insinuated there all dead , WHICH IS IT, if your going to try to con someone at least get your facts straight. Don't think for one second comming on here like a little baby trying to strong arm me into submitting going to work, whine all you want, try to get all the sympathy you can, cause in the end your still a liar, I know it, you know it and the Good Lord in heaven knows it.
Also for others following this , there some more drama for you in another thread floating around that pertains to this, funny he won't post this there, I guess it's the fact that several of my customers wouldn't let him pull this crap here unchallenged.

Not in person, but I sent him pics of several animals to choose from, each animal had multiple high quality closeup pics, of face/eyes, shell, etc.. if there was anything wrong with them you could easily tell from the photos. One look in the eyes and face of a tortoise and you can easily tell if they are sick or dehydrated, he picked the best out, and I sent them via delta, they arrived in a couple hours so stress during shipping was not an issue. The issue here is this guy speaking the truth.
