    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm lost.. um the money was deducted from your account and I still had him in hand? I received no money at all. ..I have a fired down buckskin ... worth a lot less then the 320 the dispute was for.. had you not sent them a message within the 11 days, it would have been in my favor. It had nothing to do with him being an animal... even if it was ok n my favor, you still wou
ld have had 500. I may be the "sucker" in this case, but I am not the bad guy here.
 
I am NOT paying any shipping on an animal that I did not get. You sold me a moonglow that does NOT change color... this gecko changes color.. you even said he is not a fired down buckskin. Or did I reason this wrong.

Send the animal back. She is offering a full refund with the return of the animal. Personally, I think that this is going to be the best deal you are going to get out of this situation.
With everything else that was handled poorly in this transaction, including your own use of "Friends & Family" payment option on PayPal, take this as a lesson learned and accept the offer of refund she has made. Just my ¢2...

Lisa, I would prefer to correspond with you through e-mail about this. If you want to post our emails here after that, that is fine. You can find the same reply I posted here in your email inbox.

I will send you the money for shipping him back to me up front, as I stated. You would be getting a full refund for him plus the shipping you paid as long as he arrives here alive. If it is easier for you, I can send you a shipping label that is prepaid but you need to understand how to ship him back to me safely and properly, not through "post" as you stated you would be doing in a previous e-mail. This will entail you packing him correctly and dropping him off at a Fed Ex staffed location the day prior to his arrival here. The website I mentioned tells exactly how to pack him right (including how to label the outside of the package- which would still be intact if you reuse the box). I can let you know if he needs a heat pack and how many depending on the temperatures on both ends when he is shipped.

Apologies for holding up a gecko that couldn't be shipped until April while I dealt with a suicidal father and trying to get him up here away from being alone.. my apologies I had to deal with my husband being out of work not once but twice for two weeks each time die to being hospitalized. All the while dragging my kids to the hospital and back.. I still kept you updated.. but while we're on the topic of flakieness, there was anot her thread where it took you three weeks to let the buyer know what's going on. You already had their money.. but hey, I guess if life and death are considered make my actions flakey, then call me pilsbury. Because I can at least say I kept you updaed...
 
Kati, I am not paying anything for an animal you misrepresented.. and now you want to act like you are some great person and I was wrong. There is a reason I am here. You could have sent me an email saying give me a day or two to think of something, but you didnt.. you lied to paypal and you said nothing to me. You had 11 days to respond to them.. I was protecting at the very least my ability to TRY to get money back on a gecko you falsely advertised.

Just let me know when you want to ship him back and I will send you a link with a prepaid shipping label (which I will do by email). You will be not be paying to ship him back to me. You will get all your money back that you paid for him plus the shipping you paid to receive him when he arrives here alive (same day).

Let me know what day you plan to ship him back so I am home and ready for him. I can have someone here to sign for him any day this week before 10:30 a.m. (Wed, Thurs, or Fri arrival). I need the tracking number and to know that you shipped him. Please email me that information, as I did to you. You will likely need to get a 40 hour heat pack for shipping. When Elvis arrives alive, you will get your refund. I will post evidence of that here so everyone knows how this transaction turned out.
 
The only way i see you getting any money back for that pet quality gecko is you sending it back and taking the refund. Paypal has already given up on you so this is really your only shot.
 
The only one who ruined your rep is you.. Would be surprised at what you find out when your asking questions trying to find a female for this "Great Quality" Moonglow. I was mortified and felt horrible... your rep is already lacking... my posting this just brought out what people didn't have the energy to touch.

Kati, what makes you think I trust you at this point. I kept my end.. you have not kept yours.. and now that I have no recourse via paypal, there is NO guarantee that I will get my Full refund (hitting (refund in every transaction) once you get him back.

Sorry guys, but my trust is shot.. and no one to blame but her.
 
Lisa, it looks like the best day for shipping is tomorrow for Thursday am arrival here. It will be too cold here Friday morning to ship him out Thursday evening. Is that possible for you to arrange? I am not sure where you can get a 40 hour heat pack locally or if you will have time to do that tomorrow. You have to use the right kind of heat pack or it could put him at risk (some of the ones at the store are not safe to use). Please read the website I directed you to about how to ship him properly and let me know when you are ready. Otherwise, we can arrange a day for him to come next week. When he arrives safely, I will return all your money same day. I will post that evidence here.
 
So I am supposed to trust someone who did this? I cant.. fool me once, shame on you.. fool me twice.. well.. I'm done feeling like a nimrod.
 
I have seen a lot of bad deals go down via the BOI. I have also seen breeders who messed up and tried to make things right gain the respect of the community by doing what it takes to make the offended party whole (which is what I believe is happening here, with this breeder/seller).

Unfortunately, I have also seen many buyers who's anger had reached a level that, no matter what the seller offers, they refuse to be made whole.

I can certainly understand that the buyer feels angry, however, when the seller is offering a full refund (plus shipping) with the return of the animal, I do not see the point of fighting for more.

The buyer says that she didn't receive the animal she ordered, but she doesn't want to return it.....? For a FULL refund...? Hmmm...... Where exactly is this going, then...? Or more to the point-- The buyer do not get to re-negotiate price after the animal has been shipped; she doesn't get to offer the price she thinks it is worth. She can either keep the animal and not receive a refund, OR she can ship the animal back and receive a full refund plus shipping.

This is what I am willing to do. I am not going to refund your money while you still have him and I don't know if he will survive the trip if he is packed incorrectly. When he gets here safely, I will refund all your money same day. Send him back to me with the prepaid label (by me) and you will get your full refund. I will check this thread tomorrow and see what you decide or you can email me directly which is easier for communicating. If you want to ship him tomorrow, I need to know now so I can generate the shipping label for you. If so, please let me know in the next 20 minutes.
 
I'm going to explain something. I am so beyond angry.. let's calm it what it is.. I've cried .. this makes THREE days now.. I do NOT trust and I don't want another crested gecko... I had my heart set on what SHE advertised.. what SHE told me he was and he wasnt. I WAS CRUSHED. He's sweet, he's nice, as pet quality.. but to rip me off like that? Then expect me to jump at the chance for her to do it again ? I don't trust her.. I have kept my word in this.. I shouldn't have to be made to trust her.. she lied
. And not just once.. so if my not trusting this woman is wrong.. well, not sure what to tell you.. I DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING SHE SAYS. after a, her policy states no refunds. So who's to say she won't just point that out.. she's used it once already..

That's how I feel.. now, she can consider that
. I have a child I need to put to bed and a kitchen to clean that I've neglected for this.. I also need to calm down.
