• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Jay was saying his customer won the snakes in a reptibid auction from Harrison not one of Katies auctions. Also it appears Harrison has come out of hiding and responded on the other reptibid auction selling one of his snakes. If this guy is for real, he sure is a sh**y buisness man.

It's all the SEEMING and WAITING that have me WONDERING just what's up.

As a general rule, if someone says "hey, what's up with these snakes you're selling?" there is a response from the seller. UNLESS of course there is something not quite right about either that seller in particular or the goods they are selling.

She's got computer access. She has been here reading. And yet she has nothing to say.

This is ENTIRELY of her making.

Oh, and just so you know, I have YET to go on the attack with ANYONE involved with this or who has posted on this thread. You'll know if and when I do.

Will we EVER know? Ahhhh how terrible it is to wait, completely unfulfilled, unrequited even, terminal in our search for truth and in a round about manner, justice itself.

Yes, re-reading it, Jay seems to have been referring to his customer. But that was not at all clear at first glance, at least not to three of us. Seeing as how this is a thread about Katie Richardson and we were "talking" (arguing?) about her auction here, one can see where that confusion could have occurred.

In any event, Katie's auction closed without a bid, fortunately.

I apologizes for not answering my emails quick but I am catching up with them now, I want to let everyone know I have no hets for sale right now but within the next few months I may release a couple more, I sold most of my collection to Katie Richardson of ExtraordinaryReptiles. I will be going out of town next week for Vacation and will not be back for 3-4 weeks, my wife will have access to my emails and may or may not respond to them. I have a customer who wants to buy my Albino male and Pied male ball python, so if that deal goes through I may not have ball pythons available for the next year or two. I started breeding for the hobby and the fun of it, sold ball pythons and other snakes to my neighbors and small pet shops in my town, I just started this internet thing and it has worked out pretty good so far.
(P.s. Steven maybe there is a problem with the emails but if you could get back with me soon, because if these don’t sell I would be willing to purchase them back from you. )

My apologies for the confusion. I only added my comments because Katie aquired some animals from this Raymond Harrison and there was something mentioned about getting the wrong animals. Well, one of my customers asked if I knew him because they know I'm in Florida and Raymond is supposedly in Florida as well - about 45 min away if the details are true. They were concerned and mentioned something about a wrong animal being shipped. So, I'm thinking maybe there could be some truth to Katie's story. But now, I'm thinking she just got scammed. Here's the email:

I think we should be able to ship next week! You don't by chance know of a Raymond Harrison (Harrison's Collection) that breeds ball pythons, do you? We had purchased a 100% het albino female from him, and have not been able to get a hold of him by e-mail and we do not have his phone number. Anyways, he sent the snake this last week overnight with no heat packs at all! We didn't even know he was going to ship her. When we got home and saw the box, we were shocked! She was ice cold and we thought she was dead. We warmed her up and she actually came around. She seems fine today, but I'm afraid she might develop a respiratory infection like the two previous snakes that I got did. Also, they advertised the snake to be 500 grams, but when we weighed her this morning, she is just a little over 100 grams. He claims to be a professional breeder, but I can't believe someone who knows about snakes would send one to the iceberg of the country without a heat pack or contacting the person!!! Strange!

I have 2 snakes for them that I'm holding until warmer weather. Their lows have been in the teens. Everything I read about this guy does not bode well. But this is what I thought might apply to Katie's story.

Don't want to be rude but....

Is it possible to take the personal stuff to another thread, so we don't have to sift through it to find information on the subject in question? It just seems like a lot of wasted space for bickering the real messages are getting lost and misunderstood.

You should, perhaps, encourage your customer to post in the thread regarding Raymond Harrison. It would no doubt be helpful for anyone considering doing business with him.

Exactly, Jay! I'll pay (or reimburse) the $10 for their account if that's the issue. I want to see what they have to say. And then Mr. Harrison perhaps will reply as it would be directly from one of his customers.

Of course Katie allegedly was also his customer and we haven't heard from her either. And where has Steve gone??
