    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Since they seem to breed much more reliably in a 2.1 group scenario it's no wonder she's trying to keep it. Besides with all the mangled animals she's supposedly been getting the two from Ken are probably the healthiest ones she has.

It's all moot anyway since she's already stated she's just here to play games. May as well just put her on the Never do business with list and let this thread drop.

I'll second that - Candoia neonates are TINY (7-8 inches long and the thickness of a pencil)- I couldn't sex mine until they were over a year old - even digital photos didn't blow up close enough to see the spurs. If they were neonates, it can be anybody's guess. I think you'd also have to be VERY careful probing something that size.

It was not clear, and still is not. I too have heard of palpating to determine gender. I use it for Colombian boas, Kenyan sand boas, and rosy boas. I have just never called that palpating, simply because if I asked "Did you palpate it to know for sure its a female?" people would assume that I was asking them to check for something different, as the method of sexing boas by feel is fairly new. It was only a few (maybe 3?)years ago that people were still popping and probing those poor bci.

Interesting.............she's been asked several times over to provide pics of the animals in question.

I'm wondering if we'll see some pictures of some neonates.........;)
 
When I was trying to sex my Candoia neonates I was told I should be able to detect spurs immediately. I don't have the keenest eyes, so I did try feeling for them - perhaps not exactly palpating (which implies some pressure) but running my fingers tips back and forward around the vent to see if I snagged on tiny spurs (please no snake porn comments.... :eek:)

Even that didn't work for me when they were only 3 months old. However by 1 - 1.5 years the spurs could be felt if not seen, and by 2.5 years (when the snakes were about 2 feet long) the spurs were both clearly visible and "feelable".

If they snakes were neonates I think there's a valid chance of confusion. If they were over 2 feet long it's very unlikely anyone who's kept them for a while would make a mistake.

Either way I also think that by now photos could be posted to establish whether the wrong sex was sent. However not sure I can see what else the seller can do to make it right, and I have advised Jenni of this by PM.

QFMT. I've always based my opinions as much on how people handled/conducted themselves in these threads as anything else. Mr. Foose has been reasonable and polite, which is more than this lady can say. If he made an error (and hey it's possible) he offered to correct it calmly and quickly. Can't do much more than that.

Haha, whoever said they wanted Jenn on their dodge ball team....I'd want to play against her.

This is the second bad guy post I've read about Ken that turned out to be BS. I have never bought from him, but wouldn't hesitate to, once he gets more green snakes in. :)

More proof that the BOI works as intended. This thread exposes another cheat in the industry that needs to be avoided. I am grateful that Jennifer has brought this person to light. I'm sure that everyone reading this thread will now know that they should never deal with this person. Oh yes, I am sure that this person will not suffer much from this thread. There will always be people willing to deal with scammers like this because they may not be aware of the way they do business or they simply may not care. The old "they treated me OK so I don't care who else they screwed over" will certainly come into play. But to those of us who know the truth we know who we can trust and who we can't. We all know that we can trust Ken Foose and that Jennifer Kapiloff should be shunned. I would like to personally thank Jennifer for exposing this cheat for who she really is. I understand that this was not your intention but your thread, which was started with malicious intent, has backfired on you big time. Ken is enjoying a renewed boost to his reputation and you have suffered an enormous blow to yours.

Thank you Jennifer Kapiloff for showing us that the BOI does work. Thank you for showing us that you should not be trusted.

Ken is one of the very few who have stood the test of time in the animal business. His shop is sort of like a Vegas Landmark ! He is Fair and a pleasure to deal with and to me seems incapable of really getting mad. He is an asset in every way to the industry. This whole post should be cut and pasted and reposted as a Good Guy thread. imo. Moving right along...... Go Get Em Ken !

Please, do not make general assumptions about a specific group be it age, race, ethnicity or otherwise. Even if she was twenty or so years old, I have known people twice that age that were just as immature or worse. I have also known people that have never learned from their mistakes and are just as foolish in their sixties as they were in their twenties.

Age is a number and depicts nothing definitive about the mental capacity of an indivudal. While there can be theoretical "levels" or "ranges" to go by, there are always exceptions to the assumed "rule". It is incredibly unfair to claim that anyone in that age range is the dumbest in their life at that point. Especially since many of this individuals are more along the lines of ignorant and/or naive, which is a far cry from blatant stupidity.

I will dare to say I find it offensive.

For the record, I am twenty-three.
