    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Yes is my mistake for not resexing these "proven" "females". I figured it was hard to mis-sex them if they were really proven females.

Thomas, does your post add anything to this thread? Making fun of me because I want a female he promised me? Funny.

Had Mr.Sawyer contacted me with his issue upon delivery ( which any real reptile breader would have done, after probing the snakes to verifiy sexuality) i would have gladly replaced one of the male Honduran with a female. However his "problem" was not brought to our attention until more than a month after the sale was completed. I do not know of any wholesaler who will give a 30 day gaurantee, sorry standard is live arrival or 24 hours.

I have to agree with the majority, that if you buy "proven" females, you are certainly within your rights to expect to receive them. 30 days or not, the sex of an animal doesn't change. There should be no reason why the replacement isn't made.

It never ceases to amaze me how situations that should be able to be resolved with a phone call or email can turn into 9 month wars.

Robbie, are you denying that you sent Corey 3.1 snakes instead of 2.2? Wouldn't that then still be YOUR "problem"? Did you claim the females were proven? Is that true? It comes down to this: You either made a mistake when bagging the snakes (this would be YOUR mistake and consequently YOUR problem) or you misrepresented the animals as proven (this again would be YOUR problem).

Since Robbie's only real defense is that it took Corey 30 days to notify and that's too long, I still find him completely responsible.
 
Thomas i show my colors well, i dont put up with bull #@$%, I just dont think you can read my colors, I wont be replying to any of your posts again. and yes i did have somethign simular happen, sent someone "1.1" mandarina, he got 0.2, I sent him another male.

Mr Keszey has yet to deny that he agreed to replace a male with a female, notice that? Thats because he did agree to replacing a male with a female, one reason I waited so long to post.

Just in an attempt of trying to keep this civil and not being denegrated into a name calling fest, let's stay on subject fellas.

Thomas, if you have a personal beef with Corey(somehow your posts show you do, but if not, then I digress), then either keep it between yourself and Corey or post a thread regarding what went wrong(assuming it was a legitimate deal and not just a chatroom insult battle or something silly like that). If you are not going to do anything but try to egg someone on and sling insults, then please, keep it off the forum.

Now, as some of you probably saw on the other thread, my opinion is that you should sex snakes immediately upon arrival no matter who they are from. If they are represented as a pair, I whip out the probe set to make sure that's what they are. However, I think in an instance like Corey's where he was promised 2.2 PROVEN breeders, there could be some leeway. After all, as Corey said, if both pairs are proven, how did they get eggs out of one of the males? That's some trick if they did. :D

Now, if I got a pair of snakes that were supposed to have been producing eggs and you get 3.1, you were misrepresented. And I think that 30 days is not too long at all. I mean, we're not talking 8 months here, we're talking one month. Missexing is the fault of the seller no matter what and if notified within a reasonable amount of time, the problem should be fixed. Had Corey waited a year, I wouldn't be sympathetic, but since it was only 30 days, I think Kez should definitely hone up to it. ESPECIALLY since they've already committed to getting another female for Corey.

I had planned on getting a crocodilian from them once I get my permits and enclosures straightened out, but now I think I'll pass.
 
Actually, Thomas, there was recently a thread about a snake that was missexed and wasn't discovered for 8 months after the sale, and that seller replaced the animal.

I believe that if A) it was already agreed to, or B) if the snake can be identified, there's no reason the seller shouldn't replace it. Why wouldn't he?
 
rob i have no beef w/corey,,,as i stated had he(corey) sexed the snakes when he got them and contacted the guy(kesz?) then!!! perhaps this post wouldnt be here now ,,and i think coreys actions the timeline,the threats of fraud,the lawyer all over a missexed snake is rediculous,but i also do beleive he is entitled to another female for sure,,if ya pay for 2.2 then you should get 2.2 period and if they are supposed prooven breeders,great, but still ya sex them if you are planning on breeding?hello?,,,course w/the TUDE corey has and how he is quick to jump to "the lawyer"&criminal records,etc,, he will be lucky to get anything from the guy,,now does that make this kasz? guy a "badguy"? not in my book because the the TUDE prevails,,,honestly now who puts up w/TUDE from a customer?be honest? attitude and open comunication are a big part of Ebusiness,,anyway im done and again for the record i have no beefw/corey and do beleive he is entitled to 2.2 as that is what he paid for,,but w/the timeline factor,the threats,the lawyer i doubt he'll get it but wish him luck ,, thomas davis T&S reptile farm;)
 
This is just my opinion but maybe the criminal record could stay out of it unless it has a direct relationship with his business dealings. Airing dirty laundry just for the sake of airing it... well...that is not what this is about.
What this is about is whether Corey should get the rightful sex of a snake he paid for. If he is correct (there is nothing to prove or deny) about the seller stating he would indeed give him the correct snake than I am all for Corey getting his snake. Maybe even without that I am, one month is not long.
I am not to sure complaining about getting the wrong sexed snake is whining, I agree with Rob on that. Hope the thread can go on in an adult like manner as I am interested to see what people think about misrepresentation of a snake, even a month later.

I do not care what was. I just do not want this to turn into a mud slinging match. I believe you have enough to get your point across without it. If you feel you need to sling so be it.
I will read gossip, just do not really come here to read it. I would rather see you get your snake and learn a few things about this business. Nuff said.
 
Just for the record here, I believe Mr. Sawyer contacted HIS attorney after I emailed him that I had been contacted by both Robert Keszey and someone alleging to be Mr. Keszey's attorney in New York.

Those phone calls were the first instance of someone using the words "attorney" and "lawsuit" in this issue. I felt it reasonable to alert Mr. Sawyer of those conversations.

Mr. Sawyer would be well within limits of reasonable prudence to contact his attorney about this issue as well. Just in case....
 
And I have to agree with Stardust.

Unless Mr. Keszey has a criminal record for sending people missexed animals, or anything similar, I believe it should be dropped from the discussion here.

I've been following this thread and certainly agree that if you pay for 2.2 you should get 2.2. However, the only reason I jumped in is because I also agree with Stardust and Webslave about someone's record. I don't necessarily believe that a criminal record shows us what type of person someone is. If it's relevant to this particular case then that's fine, but everyone makes mistakes and people change. This isn't the first time on here that I've seen someone get mad (and yes, you have a right to be mad) and drag in somone's record.
Finally, this is just my opinion, please don't slam me for having one.

I didnt post the record, I just brought it up. A criminal record can show a pattern, however I dont understand all the reason codes on the record, so I cant tell what they are for.

My assumption was that it was something pertinent to your incident. Just stating that someone HAS a record, without stating what it is IN the record is being a little irresponsible, in my opinion. It allows people to think the worst, when it may not be warranted.

And you are saying you don't even know what is in this record?

It may be time for me to put something in the rules about such things. Maybe my error for not grilling you on exactly what you had in mind here.

In MHO the WebSlave makes a valid point. It seems "fair game" (as Corey puts it) if the offense has something bearing with the problem in question . If it's done out of the blue and just to discredit the individual seemed harsh.

The objective should have been getting that replacement female. Chances of achieving it now are slim.

I didn't bother reading about the record in question. I was also not surprised to hear that there was one. It does lend credence to Corey's side of the battle here though. It's been 9 months since this happened, at least 8 months since a female was promised to Corey, and obviously frustration and irritation have set in. After this length of time, at least one broken promise to Corey, and this season's babies from the missing female unattainable, I might post it too. I see no problem with it. It may motivate a replacement or it may cement the fact that after 9 months Corey is #### outta luck. My thinking is that it's Corey's call. It's his problem, his missing snake, his deal gone bad.

And on the "Tude" front, dude, learn how to type, spell, and punctuate and you will make a much better point. Oh, and you might loose your "Tude" too, it's pretty obvious and pretty rediculous; amusing though somewhat pathetic as well.
