    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have. But from ny to pa overnight 70? I did another quote for a bigger box. 14*14*14 cause i do not know the box size and it said 45. I undersatnd across country would be that much but not from Ny to Pa
 
They may use a flat rate shipping fee, (possibly based on box size); or they may add a box or packaging fee. If you think either is out of line, you're pretty out of touch with the business side of things....but, if you questioned the price they gave you, why didn't you ask them how they came to that figure; rather than make negative posts?

You also have to realize that SYR also gets a volume discount that many others will not obtain based on their own volume. I have in the past compared my FedEx certified shipping rates with a now defunct reptile shipping company and the difference was great. However, I decide to stick with using my own account instead giving up control to a third party.

Just for comparison, What was the two zip codes you were getting a quote for?
 
I really don't think $70 for shipping a large adult BP is outrageous (though I still wouldn't buy from these guys). I have shipped from where I am in FL to GA (hatchling BPs), and it was around $60 through SYR (that didn't include box, bag/deli, or heat/cold packs).
 
Actually, I just used SYR's free quote feature and the size box you used in the last post. Used their zip to the location in your profile.

Seems like it is line with what they stated.

If you go down to 12x9x6 it is still $50 then figure in shipping supplies they may figure in. Anyway, their own account may be different but it really isn't out of the realm for shipping quotes.

Thanks for the info. I should of contacted him first. But when i checked him out on the boi and saw all the be aware. I posted this i am done with this and will stay away from this guy. Thanks to the BOI. I am sorry. I should not drink and post. I get myself into trouble when i do
 
All these horror stories are what makes me stay away from a lot of these "flippers". I have always purchased my herps from BHB, NERD, Priceless Pythons, Ozzyboids and so on and I have never encountered an issue. With all the issues we're having with the politicians, we don't need people like this making it easier for these clowns to pass all these ridicoulous bans and restrictions. Word to the wise, if the price looks too good to be true. It problably is.
 
You just need to check the BOI and you will see they have a bad reputation and their other buisness name is reptile addicts. They deal in sick animals looking for a quick buck would never buy from them again nor would I ever sell my own stock to them.
