What prompted you to ask if she knew him?
It really doesn't matter why he asked her. What does matter is she said she'd never heard of him initially. If she had no idea of his background or had nothing to hide, then why did she lie?
And I agree that Savannah is most likely an innocent person in all of this who obviously is caught up in a big mess. IF she does have any dealings with Mr. Miller I would hope that she would work with Bob and try to get things straightened out. Bob is a very reasonable person and I'm sure he'd be willing to listen if she would just call him. I can certainly empathize with Bob's situation although the gravity of it is beyond anything I've dealt with or would want to in my life. I just think that bringing this issue "to light" in this forum may have been counterproductive in getting real answers as Savannah has obviously had no interest in saying anything...Which is her right.
