Very well put Mike....
Nice double standard Deborah. All other threads i observe your relentless persecution towards other people and sheer lack of all mercy for actions or things said that were not half as bad as anything that has gone on here. Shellibear , and a few other threads and then harassing me in the chat room for something you "thought"
I said on facebook......
I debated on posting, but decided to let fly....good, bad, or indifferent.
It was obviously necessary that this be brought here, as Bob has yet to be paid. As we have seen, Laura and Bryon do not dispute this. As for turning this into a multi page thread jumping on them for being deadbeats, I'd consider that a bad idea. If it can be shown that they are acquiring new animals on credit, or amassing further debt that cannot be paid, sure, but Bob isn't trying to rake them over the coals, and I don't think we should etiher. Unless it can be shown that Bob is not being paid for a reason other than their inability due to some very hard times, I think this thread should serve the purpose of informing others of the debt, and nothing more.
As for the referring to Laura and Bryon as deadbeats, I hope those who are doing so don't fall on hard times themselves. In my book, a deadbeat does not tactfully apologize and acknowledge a debt when called out on a public forum.
Laura and Bryon....you are in my prayers, and I hope you and Bob can work things out. I'm sure I don't have to tell you, but at this point, you really need to make Bob a priority and send him every extra few bucks you can manage.

I know and have dealt with both parties involved in this thread and I consider them to be very honorable folks I would love to help out here. I may be wrong, but unfortunately, I don't see Laura and Bryon magically digging themselves out overnight without the help of a winning lottery ticket. I've been in their shoes and Laura helped me out once so now I would love to return the favor.
I am willing to send Griz $2,000 worth of animals deemed desireable and acceptable to him and I do not want, nor will I accept, one penny from Laura or Bryon. Griz, we've done business before and you're a friend of a great guy (Tim Frazier) that I have some beautiful Brazilian rainbow boas from. If you look at my previous ad posted for them, I think these would be great animals towards your repayment. This is a very heart fealt and genuine promise to help both parties out. I hope you will take me up on it as this can be a win win situation for all.
Please PM me and let's get things going!![]()

I cannot take animals back as I got out of animals several years ago.
Bob
, but my offer stands. I've got quite a selection of atypical boas and I honestly want to help out and see this resolved.Originally Posted by Griz

Oops, sorry I missed that lol. Griz doesn't have to get into animals again. He can just sell them or maybe someone here can help set up something where whatever I donate, the sales proceeds go towards repayment. I know there was a benefit auction not long ago where the funds were abscounded. Don't know what can be worked out, but my offer stands. Funny how the usual cast of characters is strangely missing from this post. If indeed it is true that you have produced and sold babies, then that money should be used to payoff your debt to Bob

Bob - I agree it shouldn't have been up to you to contact them. Your patience is second to none. I understand that you felt they ignored you but you just may have been forgotten. While that may not sound any better it is most likely what had happened. Reading Bryon's post you can see life sometimes get's in the way of things and throws you a curve ball (or two, or three, etc...).
Derek - Wrong thread for your discussion direction so please move along.
Randal - You are just out of line. You posted after Laura and Byron did so I'm only guessing you had to have read their posts, if not then your post is even more out of line.![]()
I'm guessing you have never been in a pinch, had bad luck or medical troubles and gotten behind on your debts. Things like that are kind of like little fires. You try and put one out and another one shows up, then another. Before you know it you are surrounded whereas your only choice is to deal with the one fire in front of you in hopes of escape.
Though, unlike those little fires, debts would best "put out" by (pun intended) paying attention to all a little at a time versus the one at a time method so threads like this do not occur.
But by all means Randal, without any proof let's call someone a deadbeat for being the victim of circumstances that life seems to find everyone. Everyone, obviously other then you that is.
Greg - Hmm, what else can I say that hasn't already been said? Greg, you are alright.
John - Maybe the "usual cast of characters" are missing because they are sitting back to see what happens (or in my case I had not seen it because I was out of town). Your implication / comment like your first sentence will not make this situation get any better. Or do you just want to see two respected people in this trade get raked over the coals? It seems that you're not content seeing them just spin out but instead of hoping they'd get back on track you'd rather see them smack the wall and go up in a ball of flames.
Yes, Laura and Bryon should have handled this better and kept the communication lines open with Bob but they did not. Everybody knows this and they have admitted as much. They have now contacted Bob and will hopefully continue to do so. If not, I'm sure Bob will come back and inform us of such.
Bob - I'm glad it appears this is heading in a positive direction and that both parties are communicating as it should have been in the first place. I hope their situation changes soon so that they can get you all the monies owed to you. Hopefully this has only strained and not ruined the friendship between both parties.
So if I understand correctly...... As long as you keep open lines of communication between yourself and the party who is owed then you are free to NOT repay for any length of time of time with no fear of being labeled a bad guy (at least two years right?)? On top of that you have animals in your possession that you COULD sell but choose not to??????????
Take it to court, they won't be such softies (unlike our former Fauna pallidans).
