In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Morph King Mojaves

The fact is if there was still a market for $1500 mojaves, MKR selling at $800 wouldn't even register. The fact is ANYONE who had BPs at Daytona had several mojaves on their table or at least that is what it seemed. I saw not one sell in Saturday even with prices of $800-$1000. The truth is they are more likely a $500 or less snake at this point. In my opinion MKR is having a positive influence on the whole BP market by keeping other breeders honest about actual value of their product versus the unrealistic sales pitches being thrown around today.

Wanted to let every one know that yes we did receive our Mojave today. He is perfect, 98 grams, and he took a rat pup as soon as he hit his box. We got nothing but the best customer service from MKR.Along with a photo i.d. and free MKR. tee-shirts. We will definitely continue to do business with MKR.

Josh at J&J REPTILES.

Joe and Wes do NOT run a puppy mill. This whole topic is very typical. Once you achieve some success on a large scale you will be ridiculed and praised at the same time.
I just want to say that I've known Wes personally since 1994 when he sold me my first pair of normal ball pythons, (yes, besides the newly introduced "albino", that was about all their was, ball python wise!).
Wes has been a genuine friend and a generous one through the years. He absolutely LOVES animals and he runs a tight ship, facility wise.
There is definitely no "bait and switch" with Morph King. They not only send you a high quality clear photo of the animal you're buying/paying on, they also print that exact photo out and send it along with your animal. That way, there is no room for error.
All pythons are packed in brand new boxes/foam/containers.
As far as the market is concerned, they have every right to sell their snakes at whatever price works for their business model. They do have the luxury of having quantity and quality and I don't see to many people complaining that Morph King made them too good of a deal! LOL!
Wes is definitely one of the best people to deal with, period. There is a lot of jealousy in this business and some of the negativity toward Morph King is unwarranted.
They sell high quality animals at affordable prices, offer friendly advice and stand behind their snakes... What's so bad about that?

Just want to clarify something here... the "association" with Bowels and Pruett consists of MKR selling them some animals?

I wonder... if I go back about five years and check BOI posts, how many others have an association with Pruett and Bowels and are now the scum of the earth because they sold some animals to them?

I'm about as unforgiving as one can reasonabally be when it comes to those two, I doubt there are more than three or four people (who were directly ripped off by them) that hate them any harder. I could and would condemn someone for *buying* from either of them or enterting into a business relationship beyond that of a simple customer/dealer transaction... but if they're not brokering animals for one another or getting inolved in breeding loans or letting those two become partial owners... I'm really not seeing anything to jump on. I certainly would never sell to Bowels or Pruett, I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire (although maybe if they weren't) but if that's the only connection... there's nothing tangible there.

I've also seen a number of posts accusing MKR of timing their price drop specifically as an attack on some other big name high volume breeder. I want to hear more details about that, if there are any. Is this just a villification of a sound marketing strategy (BestBuy and CompUSA both drop the prices on their products on the day after thanksgiving; they try to drop them lower than one another to compete for market dominance and to get the interest of the largest number of potential customers) or is there something, somewhere, where they have directly stated they were out to ruin another person's business? Which other person exactly was their alleged target? Is that person someone I'm inclined to like and respect or were they tanking the prices to undercut another individual with equally profit driven motivation? Quite frankly if they were targeing someone like... NERD (venomoid producing, hybrid abomination creating, morph mislabeling, price fixing, LIARS) then all I'm going to do is laugh. And laugh and laugh and laugh.

Where'd those old threads go with all the predictions about when and how boa, ball and leopard gecko morphs were going to drop and the fun little charts and timetables and all the analysis of market trends and price plateaus? It's kinda funny but... I don't see anyone who participated in those here crying now because they're going to need three-four breeding seasons to recoup their investment.
