Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have had some over the years hatch out with a depression like that. I haven't been able to figure out why, though I noticed that in all 3 cases the eggs looked like they were going to burst throughout the last couple of weeks of incubation, more so than normal. I have wondered if it was due to them outgrowing the egg before hatching, not sure how to prove it though. However, I have never and will never breed them with a de-formed head, something that I guess Dan has no problem doing....

I'm really upset by how this is happening. I would recommend Ryan that you take Dan to court. You have too much money invested to just "forget about it" A couple hundred I maybe can understand, but close to a grand is unforgiveable!

I agree, some of those leos do not look to good. :no01:
 
It would be nice to see this resolved, even if a court trip was required, but by the time the lawyers were paid, the price of this conflict would surpass the profits. In a small claims court, the headache just might not be worth it. The easiest and cheapest route is for Dan to just give them the 1000 dollars. We can only hope the money from those leos he is trying to sell goes to Ryan, that is, if anyone wants them.
 
I have already lost all hope for Dan, but this just makes me sick!
 
What is worse is that that gecko is the same one Ryan and Val had shipped back to him. ANd it is looking alot leaner....combine that weight loss with his sickly looking other ones and you wonder what has been going on with his collection?
i think it is horrible that he is selling that gecko with no intentions of obviously, EVER, paying Ryan what he owes.....
 
Wow.... I am left sitting here speechless and shaking my head. I don't think anyone has any hope or respect left for you Dan.
 
Well I had to post on there. I had to ask why this Leo that was a beefcake in Ryan and Vals car at 72 grams is now "over 60" and looking thinner....all of his are.....especially that first group......wonder if its parasites? little worms that leech and leech from you without ever giving back to the host.....hmmmm....poor Leos...

I'm going to remove those ads from my forums right now. My forums are not the BOI, and I don't need such traffic and negativity on there. I've read this entire thread, and it is a truly disheartening situation. I do hope that this is resolved. I will email Dan to inform him of the reasons that I'm removing his ads.
 
Nathan, We apologize for spilling it into your forums, and greatly appriciate you taking the time and effort to post here regarding this issue as well as removing the ads. It's an all over bad situation.

I think I speak for almost everyone when I say the above statement, with the exception of Dan.
 
Sorry for posting the link Nathan (and everyone else), but I felt is was important for people to see. I honestly did not mean for anything negative to be posted on your forums, it was only a link to the posted ad.
 
No worries at all. I simply tell people that if they have an issue with another breeder to bring it over here. This is the ideal place for those circumstances. I want to personally thank Rich for this invaluable resource. The BOI has helped me more times than I can count. I really wish this was around when I first started working with herps. I do hope that Dan and Ryan can come to an amicable solution.

He was selling those same sickly geckos that nathan pulled the ads on over at repti-bid the other day. Bet it wasn't to raise money to pay Ryan....
 
wonder if he succeeded in selling them? But yeah, I doubt the money will go to Ryan....
 
It probably went for his FISH project...hopefully it went for vet care for his sickly looking Leos he was trying to sell.
i really don't think he is ever going to pay Ryan what Ryan rightfully deserves and is entitled to. It is just ashame....
 
Funny, this ad was posted, then marked as sold right away. I dont think they sold on this site. Maybe this was just to rub it in? I mean there werent even pictures, and Ive had ads up for weeks, without many replies. LOL
