Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Okay. I am willing to accept that I was impatient. I do believe I apologized for that and admitted I was impatient several times.


Now we need to define what "right away" is defined as. A reasonable time frame that could be considered "right away"
 
You have had no problem thus far injecting your opinion. I am at this point only trying to get an idea of what you think right away was. This is an open forum, and everyone is allowed to post and ask questions. Simply asking a question does not put anyone in charge.

I asked simply to get an idea of what the consensus was on the term right away.I am capable of a reasonable conversation and i am trying hard as I possibly can. The whole entire thread is unreasonable and yes i started. That one is one me.

Why i started it is question, and am I being unreasonable about why I started it.

Is it unreasonable for a buyer to expect a confirmation that your order has at least been shipped?

All the other questions either have been answered or is completely irrelevant to the whole thread.
 
Sir please, lets all just leave it alone. No one has said that you were unreasonable for wanting a tracking number, what was unreasonable was the amount of time that went by before you started a BOI on the seller. You already have what you wanted, I personally don't see a valid reason as to why we would need to continue unless you actually enjoy bickering with possible customers.

I think that the seller should have *at least* a 24 hour window to return an email, pm or message. I think a phone call should be placed as well if you have the option ( my cell is listed on my page). I think if they cannot return messages after a full 24 hours then perhaps there is something up. BUT there are times when people have other things going on. There are other reasons for people to not get back right away. Heaven forbid my internet went out or I had a family emergency.
Like I said before, I ordered some feeders here on fauna and days went by with out any contact at all. In fact, I never received any contact whatsoever after I sent money. It took several days and emails before finally reaching them by phone. Hopefully today, I will receive my tracking information on an order that was placed on 10/12. I don't expect everyone to have my patience. And I wont be buying from that seller again, however I wont file a dispute or call them out until I have good reason to. I will give them enough time to figure it out or I will get my money back.

Melissa I apologized many times for blowing up your facebook.I have said repeatedly. I should have not. But i am sticking to my ground when it comes to the rest of the stepping up taking baseless pot shots when they have nothing to do with the transaction to begin with.

This really made you sound childish and sexist. You have lost MANY potential customers due to this thread. I can't believe that you think it makes you look good. The best thing you can do is appologize and let the thread die. You keep making yourself look worse with every post.

I get that you don't care about what the people (girls) here think. You obviously don't know the reptile community at all. Word gets around quick. I feed dubias to my animals, as do many others. We all could have possibly purchased from you until this thread. You've lost more than you can imagine.
 
The 2 main things that POPS out to me in this is:
1- way outta line and premature "bad guy" thread
2- for me, if i have my views on something, but pretty much the entire community at large, sees it differently, then i seriously look at my view, and begin to question and really observe my view and think, "hey, maybe im in the wrong her"

sticking to your guns and defending your thoughts, views and opinions is one thing, but when multiple, and i mean MULTIPLE people are not seeing it your way, maybe said person should step back and really look at both sides
 
Roaches delivered and accounted for as promised. They buyer is indeed not a bad guy or girl. The only problem I had with the order was I wasn't given the tracking number or a confirmation the item had shipped.

As I said I would do.

Melissa I apologize for the firestorm and my impatience. You did a fine job on the order itself.
 
well, things seem to be on the resolving end.

now, hopefully future prospective customers of Melissa's read through the entire thread instead of seeing the big red x and not even bother
 
Am I the only one that raised an eyebrow at a roach seller posting a wanted ad for roaches under a different account name, then posting this inane thread and blasting the other seller on FB??
 
The reason that was done that way is so that gouging does not happen.

After the wanted ad was placed, I got an email on my website, from a fuana member asking what I would charge for the same items in the want ad that was posted.

They then turn right around and respond to the wanted ad with $75.00 added to the price. If I did not have a buffer, I would end up buying my own bugs and pay $75.00 extra bucks for the privilege.

That would also be counter productive to what the sole intention of the order was to do to begin with. I was starting another colony with fresh blood line so the Dubia roaches we sell do not suffer from genetic loss due to inbreeding.

LOL...nope. Not the only one.

Of course, the buyer in question stated that he used an "agent" to buy the roaches because if he'd used his business name, the price would automatically be jacked up. So obviously, this whole fiasco was nothing but a big coincidence without any ulterior motives behind any of it. Of course, of course.

While I can understand that, I'm sure you can understand that it creates a problem...creating an account with false information is grounds for the account being banned. You didn't even try to cover it by saying you had your wife do it on her account for the reason you provided. :shootfoot
 
I wanted to say thank you to everyone trying to help me out/defend me. It means a lot to us. My husband spoke to Jon on the phone and everything has been resolved. I'm glad this BOI has a good outcome( from what I have read most do not) and I can put this behind me.
 
Gotta love that not receiving a tracking number instantly is completley out of line... yet not requiring a signature when TOS says it's a signature required to ship is no big deal. Double standards are always lovely.

Glad you managed to settle his tantrum. I know who I'll be sending any roach buyers to, Melissa.
