Need help identifying bogus seller (dale and valerie of NH and MA)

I did say I made a mistake and my last email to jessica I said I would take care of it before the end of the month she emailed me back and said well I guess I have no case so take the money and buy something pretty even though I had just said I would clear it up

I'm still pondering this whole deal of having to take these snakes to a vet to be sexed. Seems to me most folks get that bit down pat BEFORE they start breeding. I'd really like to see the vet bill for those two snakes being sexed as females.

It also seems funny to me that his wife brags about him not doing business under his name (so this customer can't find him). Why hide who you are if you're up front and honest? I know a lot of breeders small and large that do business under a company name. Can't say I know one though that doesn't want a customer to know their actual name.

I'm just a small time breeder in my first year of producing hatchlings but to have your name dragged in the mud over a matter of a mis-sexed snake and a $150.00 transaction seems very short sighted to me. I'd rather ship out one of our normal breeder females, take the loss and have a happy customer than have this sort of poor customer service reputation (and oh I have 4 kids too and bills and whatever....no excuses there....your personal life isn't your customer's problem).

I need your address so i can file my claim. I will just send it to your old grove st. Nashua address and we'll have to go to court in Nashua if i don't get an updated address.

The more time and effort i have to spend on this, the more I'm going to have to ask for in the claim. Please let's just get this over with.

If that also happens to be your home phone, that's not my fault. I found that information publicly accessible too. Plus, anyone who really wants it can buy it from a people search service - so no, you don't have a case there. Sorry.

I'm filing the claim tomorrow but this whole thing is a giant pain in my ass and I'd rather you just paypal it to me tonight or something. I'm not asking for the gas money for getting him sexed at NERD, or the cost of the rats i fed him, or any of that other crap, but i will ask for all of that if i have to go to court. I'll also have to add in court fees, car rental for getting there, car rental for getting to Nashua to file the claim, and compensation for having to take court-day off from work, which will all probably cost me an additional 400 bucks or more, which i'll ask the court to award me if it comes to that.

I have no patience left, and I'm not screwing around anymore.

if i had understood dale's promise that he'll give me 100 bucks by the end of this month, i would have changed my tone sooner. I apologized for that mistake because i am sorry i misread it. It remains to be seen that he will follow through this time, and i hate to say i am hopeful - but i am.

Do you have any vet info about the snake being sexed as a female? I am just curious if you are using the "vet did it" line as your scapegoat. I think you screwed up by sexing the snake wrong and your ego will not admit that after 20 years you made the mistake.

You have to walk a fine line. While he should definitely fix it, if hes stating on here he will fix it, I feel the need to give them the benefit of a doubt. Calling names and harassing someone about petty things isnt going to make them do what they ought. But, being somewhat nice, and waiting for them to do the right thing, is what i feel helps make things work.

Of course we need to wait and see. But, lets hope it does go through the way you would like. of course.

I agree being deliberately unkind is counter-productive (although someone adding a little vinegar a while back seemed to inspire Dale to state his intent publicly, which i personally am happy he did).

I'm just saying, I've thanked him for his stated intentions more than once and then never got what i was promised. I'm saving my gratitude now for something other than words, because words in the past have meant little or nothing.

I appreciate seeing evidence of effort, but i don't want him to feel like the pressure is off just because he made a promise, especially because of his record with me and promises.
