    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Need help identifying bogus seller (dale and valerie of NH and MA)

According to Pay Pal [email protected] is still a premier member.
Either way now that this is all out in the open and you have acknowledged the debt the sooner you pay it off the better you will look.
The only flaw I see in this whole mess is that your customer sold your snake setting the value she thought it was worth. I don't mess with Balls but glancing at a couple of ads today I see yearling BPs selling for $50 or more. I would think that breeding age males would be worth more but as $100 is the agreed upon debt.......
 
Normal male Balls are worth about $10 if that. Pastel males are $75 now, so nobody needs normal males anymore.

Im going to have to agree with this, normal male ball pythons are really not worth very much. save for at a place like.. petco, who sometimes overprice them at 80.00. They are generally even, given away.
 
Sorry I was away from home for much of today.

Dale I will PM you. I'm going to give you my brother's address because our mail regularly gets delivered to other people's houses on our block, and if you send something like cash or a check, i don't want it to end up missing like some other mail has (seriously our carrier is like - dyslexic or something. yes, we have complained... repeatedly).
 
Well, it appears nothing has changed: You guys remember his promise to fix it by Sept. 1? Well that came and went, so i wrote asking WTF was going on - he wrote back saying he was going to send me something by thursday with some other lame excuse. It's now Sunday: still nothing.

More promises, more waiting, more lies, more time wasted.
 
I never post on here, but this one is just ridiculous and I couldn't help myself. I can't imagine how someone could rationalize bashing someone over a mis-sexed normal ball....unbelieveable. I hope I never get bad enough that I would try and hurt someone's reputation for something I should have checked myself. Just my 2 cents.
 
Jess I sent a money order as promised unfortunatly it was only for 70 dollars on saturday aug. 30th it has not come back to me when I get home I will scan the reciept stub and post it although I guess people will say that doesn't prove anything sence it only has the date and amount on it I will however call the customer service number on it to see if it was cashed I don't know what more I can do I did what I said I was going to do

Who is bashing anyone? I only asked him to fix it when he sold me the wrong snake, and I got the run around for a year afterward.

I'm complaining about his poor business practices, not the fact that there was a mistake in the first place. Mistakes happen, that's fine or whatever, but not owning up to it as the seller is NOT fine. If you think it is, then I don't want to do business with you either.
 
Yeah your right I only sent 70 I'm sorry I sent what I could ok I called the customer service number the money order has not been cashed and when I get home from work I will scan and post as I said I will send the other 30 on the 12th when I get paid

Here is a scenario

A customer buys a pair of size 38 pants.

I accidentally sell him size 42 pants.

it was not until MONTHS later that he tries the pants on. Now he wants a refund.

But he can't send the other size back.

Now I know the above is not exactly how it went. But both sides made mistakes.

Seller.
After 20 years of being in "the business" does not know how to sex snakes.
Sells Wrong sex (hey it happens sometimes)
Has plenty excuses on being strapped for cash.
After being threatened with the BOI...... starts saying how successful they are and it would not hurt them because they do tons of business (what happened to being strapped for cash?)
Calls others a "looser" while contemporaneously showing a total ignorance on the use of punctuation and grammar

Buyer.
Did not sex snake at the sellers place.
Did not sex the snake after getting home
Did not sex the snake until MONTHS later when trying to breed
Sold the snake and now wants a refund. (while true it was almost a whole year later.)


Below is an e-mail supposedly written by Valerie
I know for a fact he emailed you last week and said his next day off was august 3rd and you never emailed back to conferm for that date as far as posting please go ahead and do just that you don't know enough about us or know our new address to even make a diferance he mostly does buisness with people he has known for years as far as your money goes I will pass on your info to him when he gets home tonight it is unfortunate we did buisness with you I would appreciate if you did not email me anymore as I will take it as a sign of harrasment oh yeah one more thing you don't have is his buisness name he almost never does buisness under his own name so post away if you have that kinda time to waiste have at it

I say the above was written by Valerie because she Said "HE" as in referring to her husband in the e-mail. so the above e-mail was written by her.

here is my point.
the above e-mail has the same punctuation and grammar and spelling mistakes that Dale makes.

So either all these e-mails and posts are written by the same person........ or husband and wife just write the same......... BAD

And when a stupid person like me notices something like that..... it has got to be pretty bad.

Yeah, i made a huge mistake by taking the seller for their word that the snake was the sex they said. I know better now, but that does not absolve this person their responsibility.



Anyway i just want this matter fixed, and so does Dale, but for some reason we can't seem to make things work (i still didn't get the dang money order. wtf is going on!?) and it's getting ridiculous.

This is the hardest 100 bucks i've ever worked for - not counting the first time i earned it.
 
Well, I'm giving up. The money order never came. Dale verified the address he sent it to, but it never got here. I asked him if he'd cancel it and send another, but i never got a response, and he never posted his proof of sending one anyway. I honestly feel like he isn't interested in fixing this for real, and I'm tired of wasting my energy on his empty words.

Screw this. I'm sick and tired of this whole thing. If anything comes to pass (yeah right - i'd sooner expect the sun to blow up), I'll let you all know, but what a fiasco. I wouldn't deal with these people again if you paid me.
