    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Need opinions on a bad deal with Tim Bowles of Arboreals of the Rainforest!!!

Ok, so this whole thread boils down to the following:

Tim's a cheat
Matt is vengeful
Tim's a cheat
Jim was cheated and lied in response
Tim's a cheat
Scott is wanting to be fair, but his defense of Tim occassionally gets in the way (understandable if not regrettable)

Oh yeah . . .

Did I mention that Tim's a cheat?
 
Here is another one for you guys with inquiring minds!

Tim Bowles sent me a link a few months back where he posted anonimously to rag on Joe Polanco. The post was from 'The Dude'.

After Jim agreed to send Tim his $600.00 just today Jim was relentlessly attacked verbally by a guy in the War Room that goes by 'The Dude'. Hmmmmm...I was also verbally attacked by the same guy!

Here is a bit of Tims post from this thread:

In the same post 'The Dude' even called Jim a 'crybaby' and told him suicide was not the answer and called Jim a 'tool'.

Now in my opinion since Tim told me he posted as 'The Dude' and his methods of posting are exactly the same as 'The Dudes'.....I think Tim and 'The Dude' are one in the same....but that's just my opinion. They both post with plenty of BOLD and ITALIC words and sentences. Not too many do that!

But if it is Tim I think it's a shame that he is in my opinion taunting and harrassing Jim after Jim agreed to send Tim the $600.00 for a snake he doesn't even want. I mean it's just plain cruel to do that! First....to have a lawyer send a 'scare' letter to Jim and then when he agrees to pay the amount asked for, then try to publically humiliate Jim I mean what the heck is he trying to prove? How mean he can be to another human being?

If 'The Dude' is not Tim then 'The Dude' in my opinion needs counciling anyway!

There was to many do's and don'ts

My agreement with tim has been fullfilled on time as agreed apon. If the snake tests possitive for the virus then we will see what happens then.
I made some bad choices in words, but I never went back on my word.

Matt, I shipped the money over night and He was not available yesterday to recieve and tracking says he got it today.

And as far as a thank you ! Come on this is hide in a box Tim were talking about. I do not expect to here from him.

Too funny Darin! Even though I don't condone it Darin has the right to his own 'opinion' here. Sorry he never got back to you Jim but that's a lesson well learned I guess.
 
I heard that Tim Bowles was selling a large Basin on Kingsnake yesterday for $7,000.00. Did anyone catch the ad? I hope if it was the one that he sold me for $3,000.00 that the resp infection has cleared up that it arrived at my house with. Tim said he was treating her after I returned her so I hope she is good now so whoever gets her doesn't have to go through what I did. I don't see the ad so if anyone saw it please let me know.

Hey maybe he is asking $4,000.00 more for her that what he charged me so he can pay me my money! I won't hold my breath!
 
Sorry I got my numbers mixed up....I charged Tim $3,000.00 and he charged me $3,500.00 when I bought her back. I guess maybe she is $3,500.00 more now because she is healthy?

Why is she $3,500.00 more now Tim? Was there even an ad?

Can I have my money back yet?
 
Matt, I seen the ad. And yes it was the same female. I know this forsure because I seen her in person as well. I laughed when I seen the ad and how much he was asking for it.

P.S. I have been trying to get my snake tested for the virus but they are not testing for it right now at the university because they are training some new person. Do you know of anyone else doing the test ?
 
Well isn't that a hoot! Imagine $7,000.00 for a snake that I bought from him for $3,500.00, and only a few months later too! What could possibly be going on?

Tim can you enlighten everyone as to what is going on?
 
I do not look at he tree boas/pythons page much anymore. After reading the last two pages of this thread )I have not followed it for the last couple weeks) I thought I would take a look at the ad someone here referred to. The VERY FIRST POST on the classifieds was this.........

Well whoever got her I wish them the best of luck and just be care ful with her! Personaly I would have her tested for a few things before introducing her to my collection! Please let us know who you are (the purchaser) we would love to see some new pics of her!
 
Yeah I just saw the 'sold' ad.....LMAO.....sorry but the market doesn't support the sale of a snake like that for $7,000.00. Still up to your old games I see. Did she get over her resp infection and dehydration due to the meds you were giving her? She was truely an awesome animal but then again so was the eyespotter that I got from you/Arboreals of the Rainforest, which by the way the eyespotter now resides in several specimen jars and on slides and in freezers around the country. That's quality! Hey 'Honest Tim' make sure to send me my refund for the dead eyespotter ASAP please. You know the address.

may be wrong,but I bet Tim
placed that ad for the sole purpose to jerk a few
chains and thumb his nose
at certain people.Tim "Paramyxo" Bowles at his
witty best.If he really did sell it,not only did he overcharge them, but I hope they have sense enough to
have it checked out thoroughly by a good vet.

You have a good idea of what happened Randy because I heard from a few people that they e-mailed him and the e-mails were not positive. I believe it was already sold, she went out on a breeding loan, or it was a total chops busting move. If it was the latter.....wow good one huh?

Hey how much did she sell for and who did she go to? My guess is nothing and nobody.
