    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have ignored this thread, but just to point out there has been several things she said she'd help with, like a cage for her bcc/bci male, she was supposed to pay half and when I had my half she didn't have hers, she was supposed to help with athenas vet, never did, she bought bedding maybe twice.

I really don't care what anyone has to say. I'm not playing the victim as much as you want to think. You all are making comments in such a way that it comes off as attacking, and when I reply in my defense and try to explain what I've explained many times you take it as playing the victim. The animals are going to herps alive, it's been stated many times so the whole debate about when to send them etc can be dropped. They will be leaving whenever me and Keith can coordinate a pick up.

I tried to be civil but seems everyone just loves to pick on someone who's already down and been taken advantage of and ignore the other parties clear abuse of the whole situation and my kindness. I agreed to take them on the notion she would be trying to get them back as soon as possible, help any way she could and every time she offered help, it never came and I swallowed it until she tried using that to make herself look good. Thankfully the issue with athena never reoccured or I probably would have foot the entire bill for a surgery, because "the snake was no longer her problem" but yep I'm the bad guy.

Have fun discussing this further as I won't be posting again until herps alive has the snakes. Which I hope can be done by the end of this week.

Given the way you have defended yourself from this who were simply giving their point of view and offering reasonable advice (which you requested) I would bet that you will in fact continue to post. You just can't seem to stop yourself, if you had, you would have walked away previously when numerous people suggested you do so.

Really main reason I never even wasted my time and keyboard to join in as just should have been beneath EVERYBODY to join in the Farcebook drama enacted out here.

Possibly the ONLY point I may disagree with some on is that yes it should be a concern if alea has suitable caging etc for the snakes, I would never knowlingly put at risk animals by sending to a situation knowing that proper care and housing was NOT available.
Buts sounds like Herps is taking care of that for now so hopefully all ends well
 
Heres what I would have done -

If im doing a favor for someone, which takes up my time and my money and my energy, and they can't even be appreciative of that fact, and they tell me I can go fuck myself, heres what I would do.

-I would say, first off, you fucking idiot, im the one spending money doing YOU a favor for FREE, when you shouldn't even be fucking buying new animals because you can't afford caging, that means you should not be getting new shit until you can take care of what you currently have, you should be fucking greatful that I am spending my own money doing you a favor when in reality you shouldn't be getting new animals when you can't even take care of the shit you have, you are why the reptile industry gets a bad rap and you should be banned worldwide on buying ANY animals. Fucking dumb bitch thinks she can put her problems on others and buy new shit, bitch if you cant take care of what you got then you shouldnt be buying more, fucking imbecile. Since you cannot take care of your snakes, I am keeping them, maybe next time you should be more appreciative when someone is doing you a HUGE favor that you shouldn't of even been able to get.


Thats what I would do.

While you may disagree, the fact is that those are Alea's snakes, and if she wanted them back you could not knowingly hold them from her; even if she didn't have correct housing. As much as it would be a pain to send them, they aren't your property, and if the owner wanted them back it's their right.

I think it's great that Herps Alive! is going to take the snakes and get them out of the middle of the whole drama filled telenovela.

2) You claimed to have been asking for advice. Harald's (epic) response earlier appears spot-on from my point of view. You wanted agreement, validation, and back rubs.

3) People read and understood what you typed. Your mind is not at some untouchably high level mere humans fail to grasp the process of. Your thoughts were simply found lacking by a significant number of people who evaluated it after you asked them for their advice (if you want to argue -and I know you do- that you do not care about the opinions or advice of others, then just stare at the thread title you typed out). The messages were all easily received and needed little in the way of decoding. Perhaps your transmitter needs repair.

Alea/Malea (has the name issue been clarified?) was unreasonable in the portions of the messenger exchange you posted. You have been unreasonable through the greater portion of your responses here. Aside from Keith's benevolence helping to get the job done (go, Keith), this thread of your creation harms your former friend for sure, but also harms you in terms of casting you in a semi-petty and difficult-to-deal-with light. Some people just do not like dealing with a person who may deactivate all emotional control when communicated with.

As for the name, I'm pretty sure Alea is just short for Malea. The same way my name, Kristi is short for Kristine.

Also to clarify since it was made a big deal of my name is not alea it is my name spelled backwards without the m it is the only way I could use my name without bringing harm to myself or my family.... truth is I have a stalker and he tried killing me..... the rest is no one else's business. I appreciate all responses in this matter and yes I've acted inappropriately myself. Fact of the matter is I never asked her to do it for free and I NEVER took advantage of it. I made it clear to her that I'd pay for what ever they needed and was never told when they needed anything but maybe 2 times. I don't doubt she's cared for them well and never will I say otherwise. This should have remained on Facebook between us and never brought here. Yes this may be damaging to a reputation but it's not mine. I hope elexis can find the happiness to not argue when she is in the wrong.... have a good day everyone
