First of all, The BOI is an excellent tool, it does serve a great purpose as such, but just because the majority in this particular matter is against a transaction with a individual does not mean someone cannot CHOOSE to try a transaction with said individual and report their findings. Thats basically stating "since theres 100 pages of bad bad things you're a bad bad person for doing what we say not to do." Silly isnt it? If you're looking for a cult I hear witnesses are now paid mileage when going door to door. Look into it.
Joking aside, I've actually been frequenting the BOI often and when I feel I can to or create a thread of relevance people should hear about I do it. I knew this would be one of those "OH NO LETS GET HIM" things but boys will be boys. I just thought it would be good measure to post the good transaction since all i've read is basically a cluster**uck of garbage piled upon garbage with a few inteligent posts and first hand experiences thrown in here and there. You do have to admit these sort of threads get out of hand and wayyyyyyyy off track sometimes. I was trying to avoid that with this thread but obviously since so many people are attracted to drama some can't help but involve themselves. I knew it would happen, but I guess one can only hoep the best. Regardless I wanted to atleast share our experience and keep people updated on future experiences. Nothing we say was meant to change someones perspective, those things just don't happen. People come to their own decisions and perspectives and they choose to change them on their own terms. But we were however relaying facts on a single transaction. Unless you have somethign to say about this particular transaction or comments about it anything else I am sure has been covered in a few other hundred posts.
The deal was actually offered to us in an email we received from Mr. Gubitz in response to a add we placed on kingsnake, we did not inquire about anything with Mr. Gubitz. We were not able to meet his offer and told him what we were currently buying our dragons at, and apologized. I was not expecting to do business with him at that point. He replied and offered to let them go at our normal cost, we asked a few questions, we agreed, and they arrived in great time as represented. No real lengthy correspondence, nothing of the like. It arrived the following monday after the deal on the weekend. It was a cut and dry transaction. Simple as that.
As for my use of the word ignorant I was referring to just that, ignorance, "ignoring something". As in ignoring my request to keep this on track and to please spare the drama. I wish not to provoke any further drama, it's pointless. I wanted to state one simple experience with someone that people should hear about. With all that has been read I felt that the bad should also be accompanied by the good. And if this is a man striving for change he is on the right track so far. I agree to the proposition about counting good guy threads, I do not think they should be ignored. A substantial amount of good guy type threads without mention of bad transactions could put some more truth to the matter if this individual is in fact on the straight and narrow.
Please do not turn my contribution to the BOI into further drama. As stated in my very first post it was the very thing I was trying to avoid, but just because someone is in fear of attracting attention does not mean they should be forced into silence.
Thanks, Take care!
