Now this just makes me sick...

It's because of sick people like that, that I trained my aussie to stay away from people and strangers, and not to take food from anyone but me, or one of few people who he is allowed to trust. While some days I wish I could have a happy, friendly, 'stable' dog, but when I read a story like that, it makes me glad that I trained him to be so cautious of people. A friend of mine had a rottie and someone slipped a sharp object in some food and fed it to him. The vet successfully removed it, but the damage was so bad that he died shortly after they finished surgery. There are some horrible people out there who would do anything to an innocent animal just to spite you. I used to work at an animal shelter and I have even more horrible stories that are far too sick that I would not dare post.

The thing I wonder is what is motivating certain people to do stuff like this.

I have my own theory.

People that are IRRESPONSIBLE dog and cat owners.

Every house around MY house has a dog or two. One of the peoples dogs gets up to my fence and snarls and yaps at me or my kids or my wife when we're out in our own back yard. I've thrown dirt in the fuckers face hoping the owner saw me DO it.

Maybe, since it's illegal and harder to get away with killing the OWNERS of dogs some have taken to killing the animal ITSELF.

I understand this. I don't condone it but I definitely understand it.

I should have mentioned the neighbor ladies CAT that has come and shit in one of my kids backyard TOYS. Pissed me off royal.

However, the fact that our vermin/mouse problem has become WAY less, I tolerate it

So nice to know that so long as you benefit your standards have such maleability.

Well to a degree of course. I don't find it pleasant to have the neighbors mutt snarling at my back fence at my kids though. We're in OUR own back fucking yard. We aren't harrasing anyone and that mutt comes and barks and snarls at us and our kids. Our youngest won't go out because he got so scared by the mutt a few days ago.

Peoples dogs don't need to yap and snarl at OTHER people in their own backyards any more than they need to bark at the bum hopping a train twenty miles away.

People might need to manage their animals better. Thats the only thing I can think of that would make others want to kill other peoples animals.

And since it is the ONLY thing YOU can think of, a man of admittedly maliable standards, you EXPECT others to do as you do?

AHAHahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHahahahahahHAHAHAHahahAHAHahaha

As the Greatest of all Bunnies was wont to say, "What a maroon."

Is there really a point to your insult/comments ?

Aside from maybe trying to bait me into a trolling kind of pissing match ?

Maybe you can find someone else willing to have a go with you

I gave MY opinion on this matter and I REALLY could care less what some characters I'll never meet in person think of them.

On you go now

And yet, despite yet another statement by a selfproclaimed person of wishywashy standards, here you are, trying to defend what you have stated about yourself.

No one stated anything for you. No one made anything up. YOU merely put it out there for the world to read. If you now regret that, how can it possibly be the fault of anyone other than yourself, the originator of all you are now trying to explain away?

I think your above statement is a lie. Along with standards of great maliability you seem to have a problem with the truth as well.

It's just as well we'll never meet, you are not of the calibar, the standard, which I must hold for those with whom I socialize.

Don't worry though, there are plenty of guys out there who will change their standards for their own personal gain. There are plenty of other liars out there to whom I am sure your company would be most welcome.

Don't worry little buckeroo. There are plenty out there just like you.

More's the pity.

Blah blah blah.

Yo wilo. I think I'm seeing why someone started a thread making a parody of your name.

If it makes you feel good I've gotten three "warnings" from the admin clowns for "profanity". The first one I relpied to saying I would watch my mouth. I got TWO more afterwards. After I had stopped USING any "profanity".

I told them they can feel free to ban me if they'd like to. For NOTHING.

I care not one iota.

Enjoy fauna-wackifieds folks :)

Yep, totally agree with you Shannon. I had a lab pup that would bark at a guy in the back of my house (woods) if this guy was back there. The guy didn't like it as it scared off the deer (he hunts way to close to my home) and since he was still a pup hadn't yet been fully trained. Long story short, he was poisoned, we tried everything but he could not be saved, my kids were devastated as I was. We found out later that our pup was not the first dog to be poisoned by this guy who has gotten fines, we just could not prove it was him.
All my dogs know not to eat anything from strangers, it is just a very good thing to teach a dog.

I'd stand back there anytime he was back there and scream "you can't poison me" at the top of my lungs. That would keep the deer away.

Well really I would have probably done something else that would have landed me in jail...but it would have been worth it.

Actually, I couldn't get him on the dog BUT since he had done the same thing to his neighbor (a cop) and got in trouble for it, also one of his hides for hunting was a mere 20 feet from the edge of my property line which would only be around 45 feet from the edge of my pool so the DNR got him for that too.
His parents house owns some of the land behind mine but it is up for sale, hopefully I won't have to see him anymore!

Dumb people!!!

Man arrested in Minn. dog beheading

At least they know who it is.

Man arrested in Minn. dog beheading

ST. PAUL (AP) — A 24-year-old man has been arrested, suspected of cutting the head off of a 17-year-old girl's pet dog and leaving it at her front door in a gift-wrapped box.

The man, who is expected to be arraigned Friday, was being held on suspicion of terrorist threats. Police said he may be charged with animal cruelty.

"I think I can sleep a lot better now," said Crystal Brown. "It will make me feel way safer. Now we can walk around the whole block."

Crystal was devastated last month when Chivy, her 4-year-old Australian shepherd mix, went missing. Two weeks after the dog disappeared, a gift box addressed to Crystal was found at the front door of a house she shares with her grandmother. Inside, Crystal found Valentine's Day candy and a garbage bag containing her pet's head.

Police said the man they arrested lived a few blocks from Crystal and may have had a romantic interest in the girl.

The case drew widespread media attention. The television show America's Most Wanted posted the case on its website, and donations pushed a $2,500 reward offered by the Humane Society of the United States to $20,000.
