If someone cares to interpret this as a "do as I say, and not as I do" type of circumstance, then go ahead and knock yourself out over it. The mods have my full support to be as aggressive as necessary to get the job done I have asked them to do.

Would Rich's post here not apply? Dr Owen's posts get the point across, though the way he does it may not be to your liking. I did not interpret those posts as derogatory, nor did I see them as condescending considering who he was repling to and what the topic was about. Is he not allowed to have a sense of humor also?

OK, I just read his most recent 100 posts. I also read the prior 1 or 2, and the following 1 or 2 to each, to get an idea of the context.

The vast majority are respectful, professional responses.

Sometimes his wit tends a little toward the sarcastic, but I thought his (few) sarcastic remarks were pretty tame compared to a lot of things that were (and still are) said around here. I saw nothing that indicated to me that he is a bad moderator. JMO

Those are some of the recent ones. The point is if those comments had been made to Dr. Owens the person making them would have been fined for antagonistic etc... JMO Not all those were made to someone you may deem as undesirable.

Hell I could have asked for it to be removed and bypass the suspensions I received but did I? Nope. I asked for it LOL

In chat he had made a comment as to my recent good behavior since me and Rich butted heads and I offered to allow him to issue me a warning if it made him feel better, in fact, I requested it. It had been so long.... LOL

But the second changes were made and I had suggestions, and comments to make about warnings I received, Rich went back to his same attitude he had back then when we were butting heads. Some people simply cannot get over the past. Not my problem, my concern for fauna was genuine. I simply cannot change the way he wishes to live his life though, I sure as hell can't hold onto the past like that. It would drive me batty

These are more current posts you can view his posts and find them. They in my opinion are condescending and shouldn't be coming from mod. Like I said the mods should be held to higher standard than resorting to sarcasm and being condescending. These types of posts are what most people are referring to.

The whole point of this thread was apparently to get me to question Dr. Jay Owens being a moderator on this site, but I have to tell you, you are all failing miserably at that task. All the evidence I have seen here and elsewhere merely supports my interpretations of his actions as treating people exactly as they have deserved to be treated. And I think his treatment is actually no different then my own, so why the heck would I find fault with it? I have actually asked the moderators to get TOUGHER then they have in the past!

You are right bud, this is rich's site and he can do what he wants. He also gives us the opportunity to discuss things about the site and what is done here. That i believe is why this thread was started, that and a little anger over points/fines/warnings he (wes) was given. This thread has been on a friendly even keel until your post which was very antagonistic in nature.
They say the best way to find out about yourself is to look inside yourself and decide if you like what you see. Maybe the whole point of this thread is having Dr, Owens look inside himself and see if he himself feels everything he has done and said was truly good and for the well being of the site. Maybe he can learn about the feelings of the members and learn and grow from that. No one is above or incapable of learning and growing as we go through life.

Yet he labels those with genuine concerns, suggestions, and questions as being antagonistic. I disagreed with my recent warnings, and voiced concerns, therefore I was deemed antagonistic. So be it.

But all I have seen is antagonism in reply to most if not all concerns or questions since these changes have started.

All I have noticed is that any idea that may stray from your own Rich is met with hostility. Whether this is intentional or not, who knows. But it is not needed. I can honestly say I have felt quite insulted over the past two weeks due to your reactions to things people here have had every right to question or address, and when being hostile or antagonistic you can expect the same from those you address in most cases. I've tried like hell not too, wes perhaps less as we saw.... But either way, this can be seen as baiting, especially since you have made it clear that you are set on removing people whom you deem as problem members. Again, I do beleive all of this could have been accomplished using easier methods, and without risking the loss of valuable members. The more I read this the more I am upset to see that things are indeed declining, not improving.

You should be spending less time swaping messages with Bud and more time helping us understand and work with these changes. I'm trying but the antagonism does not help. I'd rather not argue with you Rich, I had thought you left these hostilities behind us..... I'd much rather discuss things rationally without getting worked up as everyone always seems to do. Granted my recent warnings I beleived to be uncalled for, but frankly I could care less about them ATM. There are bigger and better things that need to be addressed.

Oh knock it off, Chris. Everyone here can see what you are doing. YOU are the only one bringing this crap up, so you are obviously just stirring the pot trying to get a rise out of me. Personally I don't care about you and your issues. I believe all of the points assessed against you were fully justified and warranted. The record is there in plain site for anyone to audit and make their own determination.

I will give you this one warning simply as a favor. This thread is not about me, you, nor any past issues we have had.
