I'd imagine that most people who read this thread saw the BS way back. I know I did.They just didn't have to type their little fingers off trying to make the rest of us look like nuts to figure it out. Please stop trying to help the rest of us Dand, be up front and say you are doing what your doing for your own personal reasons so it doesn't reflect so badly on the rest of us.

Instead of hurling insults, wouldn't it be easier, and better in the long run, to just wait to see what paperwork comes up, or perhaps a post from Pete explaining all of this muck ?
I for one, would like to learn what actually transpired...if he made an honest mistake, then we will learn of it shortly, I would imagine...if not, then that too will come up.
Infighting seems rather pointless at this juncture. We need to wait for facts.

I did this because it could have affected this hobby/business as a whole. If your buddy Pete's package had the misfortune of getting damaged in transit, and it's contents got out and someone got hurt it would have made big troubles for anyone who is in the hobby/business. It just takes one idiot screwing up like this and everyone could pay the price. Pete could have ended this long ago by either being a man and telling the truth or by the coward’s way and just leave with his tail between his legs like he stated he was going to do when he e-mailed Webslave requesting to "close his account". He chose to stay and tried to pull one over on everyone. You keep saying let it go, if that was done he would have gotten away with what he did scott free. Do you really think after getting away with it this time without any repercussions he would not try it again? Are you really that naive?

Now when someone has some real facts to present in this matter I'll be more then happy to read them here(as I'm sure everyone else will) and if I feel I need to comment I'll make a post. Untill such time as facts are presented here I can't see any further reason to post on this subject as I've made clear a number of times my concerns for the dammage you and others here have done to the reputation of the herp community. Feel free to PM me if you just have to continue this but please untill there are some real facts lets cut the dammage already done here.

Sorry Randy, but this is exactly how the BOI works. And since I don't recall making you the Sheriff in these parts, I believe I can do without your harping on other members here about what they do and how they do it. If you have a problem with how the BOI or this site in general works, take it to the FaunaClassifieds Feedback Forum instead of doing it HERE. Have you ever seen how attorneys will badger a witness to try to get the truth out of them? Or how LEOs will interrogate someone who appears to be lying and they want to get to the truth? This is no different at all. And people here are FREELY ENCOURAGED to not take anything at face value and ask any questions they want in order to try to get to the truth of a matter. If it appears to be badgering, then so be it. But I will not make any attempt to squelch what appears to be an honest attempt from the members here to get to the bottom of something that appears to be 100 percent pure BS to them. Sometimes they may be wrong, but often they are not. And as admin to this site, I specifically request that anyone here do whatever they feel is reasonable and prudent to get to the bottom of a story and try to get the truth put into print. THAT is what the BOI is all about.

Will this make our industry look bad? Probably not any more then any other industry around. And to be honest, how many other industries have something like the BOI to help them out? If those same people who would see the dirty laundry exposed here overlook the fact that this forum exists to try to clean that laundry, I seriously doubt that anything else you can do will make any difference to their agenda anyway.

This is the tool I have offered you all to use to the best of your abilities. And thus far, I am mostly satisfied with the way it is being used. Every once in a while, someone will bang their own fingers with it, but that is to be expected.

The truth is spread out over the threads. Neither one of the two seem to be able to remember what they have said (written) in the past. Which isn't too smart since it's here to review and refresh one's memory. When they were confronted with their own words, they both ignored it and went on the defensive. It’s just a childish manipulation attempt to direct the attention away from themselves when cornered.
