    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

The reason Wes and I are calling him little Petey is not only because of the childish way he acts but also because of a thread I sent to Wes a short (pun intended) time ago where little Petey is a member of a fitness forum. Here is little Petey describing himself.

The only thing I can say about Little Petey is that I've run out of patience with him. I'm done trying to be the nice guy. If he wants to keep this up, he can easily bite off more than he can chew. 'nuff said.

This Issue has been addressed:

Yeah, I had to chuckle a bit too...I wrote back and asked him about all the other times he has "come clean", and how they turned out to be false...

He has lied to so many people so many times, he must be going nuts trying to keep an agenda in his head !!

I'm a moderator over on spidertalk.net, and have been reading all the various threads regarding Peter here the past several days. I actually started reading them before anything was posted on spidertalk, after being made aware of them due to a discussion in the chat room at arachnoboards.com.

Peter has many many enemies, both on spidertalk and on arachnoboards. Of all the threads I've had to close, 99.9% of them have revolved around Peter. Perhaps the most notable was a thread where he posted pictures of a tarantula (a Brachypelma smithi) on the face of a young child. He didn't seem to think anything was wrong with that, and vehemetly defended his actions by stating he'd had the parents sign a liability clause. What Peter failed to realize is that his liability clause isn't worth the paper it's printed on. He could still get sued.

Peter knows I've despised him for a very long time. I'm not alone in my opinions, as there are only a handful of people on spidertalk that tolerate him and his showboat antics. He's never done anything to me personally, and yet my name was included in his "apology thread." I still am clueless as to why. Sure he's pissed me off, but I don't think I'm deserving of an apology. There's at least one other person on that list that also doesn't feel like he needs an apology.

I'm a firm believer in second chances, but we've all given Peter more than his fair share of second chances throughout the past year and a half. I think he could change, but I also know that he is very defensive. I don't think that continually hounding him will help him along that route, as I've seen how defensive he gets over the tiniest thing. The more that he's pushed, the more defensive he will get.

I understand that what he did was stupid in the extreme, and I applaud you folks for bringing it into the light. Hopefully Peter will improve, and end up being a respected member of the reptile world.

Oh, and to DAND and Wes.......sorry about closing the threads you folks started on spidertalk, but the disruption to our nice peaceful board just couldn't be tolerated, no matter how amusing I thought it was. Hope you understand!
 
Also, Peter's duplicate account (SilentNoise) has been deleted on spidertalk. Since Peter uses dial up, it was hard to pin him down with the IP address, but there was one instance where he posted right after his alias and the IP address matched exactly. Thanks to you guys for tipping us off!

No problem here. It is not for nothing that I have, on occasion, been compared to a bull in a china shop. You guys just happened to be in the way when I had a full head of steam.

We've had some real scumbags come through here but lil' petey disgusts me more than anyone I can think of. His insinuations about the SWHS, me, heck, just everything about the pipsqueek are just wrong.

Oh well.

Haha! No target. He's a good kid, he and I speak frequently. He just really is not a fan of chaos on the boards.

For what it's worth, if my moderator status hadn't forced me to behave, I probably would have joined in! As would my friend Sky had she been around....her and Peter have a long running war. Those two cannot post in the same thread without it being locked.

I'm amazed this thread is still going. I've not read everything dealing with Peters latest transgression but I think I have a pretty good idea what's going on. I'm not surprised by what he's done or the fact that he's trying to, once again, squirm his way out with an apology and admission of wrong-doing. I'm simply surprised that this type of witch hunt has been allowed to go on on this board. It seems to lack a level of professionalism I'm used to seeing on FaunaClassifieds. Wilomn (and some others), I don't know who you are. I don't care to know. What I would like to know is who appointed you to the position of executioner? I'm sure I don't have to explain what a wonderful thing the anonymity of the internet is. It's pretty obvious that you reap the benefits daily. I'm sure one day your arrogance here will spill over into the real world and someone will teach you the proper way of speaking to people. We all (Peter included) know Peter has pretty much ruined his reputation with this incident and others. We don't need someone like you to point it out any more, especially in the way you're going about it. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe the snide, holier-than-thou, misspelled remarks are necessary. It must be wonderful to have someone of your caliber around. :rolleyes:
