That's what I thought too. But despite all of the reptiles I've received through UPS over the years, they've NEVER had me sign anything. If I'm lucky, they'll actually ring the freakin' doorbell before throwing the package onto the porch. Fortunately the dog recognizes delivery vans, and let me know if one's out front.Karen Hulvey said:I thought that when a package was sent to an individual that the individual whose name is on the package had to sign for it???
I don't see how UPS can just walk up to anyone near your house and give them your package. Shouldn't they check the name of the person who signs for the pkg. If the person's name who signed for the pkg. isn't the same as the name the pkg. was sent to, why give the person the pkg.?

I remember when I had my boa shipped to me by DHL and they left the package out in the hot sun, upside-down instead of bringing it into the building and having someone sign for it. I was so angry! Luckily my lil' girl was fine, but the fact that they left a package that said 'FRAGILE' and 'EXTREMELY PERISHABLE' outside makes me wonder . . .
