ok guys i needed to address this..i wasnt sure how to handle this issue..

first of all let me appologize for this coming to this board and our community..

neither one of these guys will ever give thier real identities on here nor will anyone else associated with them do so..tonight they called a good freind of mine and told him every thing he could think of about me..he told him i was a drug dealer..a crook..and also a drug addic etc..and that i would steal his money if he intrusted me with it..

then later tonight that same person called my cell phone and left a message demanding i pay him a pair of spider ball pythons to call his freinds off or they would keep posting this stuff( of which that message was copied and forwarded to the proper authorities)

these persons feel i have done them an unjustice of some sort...i have discussed in detail with my lawyer of how to handle these accusations..

to set the record straight since we have seen public records are available upon request

last year i was arrested for buying growth hormone and steroids and having them delivered to my home.. i am a former personal trainer and bought my supplies over the internet on a regular basis..upon my arrest my computer and all personal connections were seized by the federal government to be used to pursue the illegal trade of steroids and other drugs over the internet..what happened after that is out of my hands...this is what i meant by the comment the person on the other side of the comp may not be who you think it is...these innocent(jailed) guys were child molesters..meth dealers.. coke dealers etc...so please dont be fooled by these guys..for they themselves are former dealers/buyers which is why they will not give thier identities for fear of the government watching them

my information is out there for anyone to see..if i wanted to hide i could have but i have kept my same phone number etc for the last 3 years..
if anyone else has any questions etc please feel free to ask me..but if you need to hide your identity dont bother..

i have enough to deal with in my life without this again..i have left all of this behind me..i used drugs to better my physique but it almost cost me my family..

buying growth hormone does not make me the bad guy..if any are here without sin please cast the first stone

As I told our dear Randal, I was being sarcastic in my first post Jay... even steve caught it (and he made a valid point too). I dont condone drug dealers... but what people do behind closed doors is their business (unless it involves my friends or family.. then its a problem) And of course there are somethings that are certainly inexcusable when it comes to the whole drug buying/selling bit... What tim did was minor, not a big deal... but i'm not one to pass judgement on someone just because he got into a little trouble with the law in the past. Cuz it's just that, the past. Some people are very bothered by it.. some arent. Its all just a mere matter of opinion.

Well after reading this thread and links it was rather interesting. But the past is the past and people can end up doing stupid things that they would rather of not gotten caught up in so we don't need to discriminated for minor things. The first posts he sounds like a great guy to deal business with and then suddenly a post about his past comes up that only shows something he did in the past which he doesn't do anymore. I don't see why people post up things that make a person look bad when they are a overall good person who is selling good reptiles. But thats me. :) I have yet to see a perfect person that hasn't done one thing that would be regretable.

The way I see it is if your going to play with fire your going to get burned. Tim palyed he got burned and now has to pay for what he's done. I purchased an animal awhile back before knowing this.
Tim always answered my emails and I received a great animal. I would say nothing but the best.
You may not what to support him but you better not support sports in general then neither because this stuff is rampant all the way down to the grade school level.

Well this isn't really in the past, as the news articles were published in September, and probably the cases haven't finished trial yet. Past, to me, is something that you used to be involved with and no longer are. Also something you gave up voluntarily. There's a big difference between the drug phase(high school and college) and continuing on when you're pushing 40.

This activity doesn't have anything to do directly with Tim's reptile sales and service. It does, however, show something about his character. The amount of drugs found in his home shows that he was heavily involved in sales and probably making a profit doing so.
The fact that these drugs are rampant is a ridiculous argument. So are cocaine and heroin.

You know, if you want to look the other way, fine. Just don't complain when you're child gets hooked on steroids because "it is no big deal".

Did you deal(sell) this drug also?
 
I never said it was no big deal but that is the problem "where are the parents" when their kids get hooked on drugs of any kind. That is where it starts not with drug dealers.

This thread isn't about parents, drugs etc. but I wanted to give my opinion on this and then I'm done. Certainly the family is partly to blame, so are individual weaknesses, community life and availability. I grew up in a family with 3 other siblings. Of my brothers and sister, all grown, some with grand kids, we had 1 that retired at 60 with millions, another that is wealthy and volunteers and the community etc., myself I am a mortgage banker, and then we have one that is hooked on crack cocaine and has struggled all his life. Same family, same parents, same school, same town.
We just have to stop accepting this behavior as "okay" IMO.

He was caught shipping this drug to under cover officers and he had 40,000 units so I think it safe to assume he was dealing.

So basically Nora you are saying is long as it doesn't effect you people can do what they want and you have no problem supporting them?

I can't say from this post alone whether I would deal with Tim or not but it does certainly speak about his character. This wasn't a small amount of drugs and it wasn't selling to a couple buddies at the gym. He was pretty heavily involved. On the other hand he hasn't seemed to try to hide this or lashed out with they typical bad guy responses, so maybe it was a lesson and maybe he has decided that stuff isn't for him. I think in the future I will watch how his transactions work out etc... At this point I don't think I would say I would never purchase from him but I think I will need a little more time and proof that things have changed (based on character, I would rather give my money to an all around honest person etc...)

Regardless of whether or not your first post was "sarcastic", I'd like to know how you figure getting busted with 40,00 units is "recreational"? And since when were steroids "recreational"?

And yeah, it IS other people's business, when that crap is funneling down to our kids. Nothing pisses me off more than someone who thinks dealing drugs, ANY kind of drugs, is no big deal and look the other way just because it isn't affecting them personally.

Maybe this will set Tim on the right path.....only time will tell. But if he had never run into anyone but people who look the other way, where would he be now?

So basically no... its not, cuz i never said i'd support them when it doesnt affect me.

And Cathy, i said recreational because thats what most drugs are these days... from cocaine to esctasy to pot.. and of course some certainly arent and a just a plain hard up addiction that came from recreational use. I read the articles that were posted and what not but that to me was only speculative until Tim openly admitted that it was him. and im sure there are a lot of tim loftons out there.

again there is more here then meets the eye..you will not find anywhere that i was convicted with these things..i assisted in getting rid of scum from the streets and internets..these were people i thought were just normal people like myself but were hiding secrets(child molestation/selling to high school kids etc)..i made the mistake of thinking these guys were my freinds not knowing who they were..below is a copy of an email that was sent to numerous people..the $$$ colected and drugs seized were part of this cooperation ..i have been in contact with the DEA for the last few days concerning this as these want to be thugs are attempting to extort me for $$$ they think i stole from them..however it was collected and turned over to the proper authorities

again i made mistakes of being involved with them and i appreciate those who have stood by me through this..those who dont and choose to assume they know the truth (Critical) then i cant do any more to change your minds..if this info stays here then oh well i have confessed to my part of the sin and moved on with my life..those who think im bad for taking steroids then please no longer support any major sport teams etc as i got mine from the same places they get thiers

Tim, your mistake wasn't thinking these guys were your friends, your mistake was going down that road in the first place. Cooperating after getting caught, to keep your butt out of jail, isn't quite the same as assisting in the investigation because it is something you believe in. Don't try and make it nobler than it is.
