In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy python princess aka jodie ilene joel BAD NEWS!! STAY AWAY!!

LOL!!! WOW!!! good to have you back dan.....

Until she refuses to return the snake to him, I think it's a little early to be calling her a thief. From what I can decipher of the chronically small screenshots that are provided, it appears that she amended her claim to that of an item arriving "not as described". Which is what I believe the situation amounts to.

The seller fumbled around with providing his promised refund, and subsequently decided to just send her a snake that it was clear she didn't want, due to his lack of disclosure, which can be viewed as a violation of the auction's TOS. Beautiful as she may feel that it is, it's still a genetically flawed animal. The case can easily be made that the seller's choices forced her hand. If/when she refuses to return the animal, I'll be right along with those of you on the thief bandwagon. I just think it's a bit early to apply that label.

Dan, I didnt fumble with providing a refund!!

The buyer made multiple claims with paypal (even after a refund was agreed to) and held up the funds twice making it impossible to provide the refund I promissed.. Realizing I was dealing with an unreasonable person and wanting the ordeal done with I sent the buyer the snake that she bid on and won in the auction.. As far a disclosure on the breeding ability of desert females it was the first topic of conversation that the buyer and I had on the phone.. Before you ask seeing we have gone through all of this before. No I do not have physical proof on the phone conversation.. With all do respect I would Like to keep this thread to the NEW issue at hand...

Why days after getting the snake that the buyer bid on and won is she claiming not to get it, filing a chargeback after filing 2 claims with paypal and being denied by them and now holding up my paypal account and forcing it into a negative balance..

Dan I asking you this as a reasonable and fair man that I know you are..

Is this right what the buyer is doing??

I think it would be date PayPal was notified from bank. PayPal probably received the request fri and posted today. Either way she filed chargeback after she got it.

And what does that date signify? Is it the date Paypal received the chargeback info from the bank, the date the info was sent to Angelo by Paypal, or the date the chargeback was actually initiated?

Good question Lucille.. I would love to know my self... But again she filed a claim with paypal, agreed to a refund from me, after first claim was denied she filed a second claim, I shipped the snake, 2nd claim was denied now a chargeback from the CC company saying she didnt get the snake?? If the charge back was from a week ago and it may well be!! That still doesnt relieve her of her responsibility to cancel the claim and stop putting me through this crap!!

I'm asking again, what is the actual date she notified the bank that she wanted to do a chargeback?

Well she should send snake back. No questions asked. My feeling is she will keep it. Now will the cc company come after you for funds.

I agree. But as I asked earlier, and I really don't know, Angelo, is there any possibility that she has cancelled with her bank, and an info lag so that Paypal has not processed it and told you?
I'm not saying that happened, but since there is an intervening weekend, would it make sense to wait until Monday or Tuesday before we are sure she didn't cancel?

Only she could answer that Lucille. She probally waited a day after she got it. It does not take long for them to issue chargeback. It may be a few weeks before she gets credit.

Yes Lucille I guess there is a chance of that.. I doubt it but there is a chance...

When I had my retail shop i have had charge backs from paypal and my merchant company before and they were same day events..

She obviously filed after she got items other wise the cc company would never put item not as described and would have not proceeded with the request.

What was described is an item not received, not an item not as described.

I wanna hear her input on this. PayPal would provide them with a tracking saying item was shipped and accepted by her and she would have not gotten a chargeback. She made another lie to cc company to get her money.

That would be the only reason they refunded her. The tracking info was all there they can clearly see it was received. The cc company not gonna just send her money back after all info was provided. She called and made another lie to get her money back

Paul, do you know for sure that is how it works? I thought the bank notified Paypal of a chargeback, and then the seller and Paypal at that time go through the process of notifying the bank why the chargeback is not valid. That is what Angelo is doing now.

I would like to hear from her as well.

Lucille,
I know it doesnt mean much because its a phone call and I cant prove it but I just got off the phone with paypal and they told me it was filed with her bank on 8/23 a day after she got the snake...

I don't think so. The intent is there. Sending it back due to pressure or possible police action means only the pressure got to her.
