• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Raging Reptiles ,buyer beware

Sean owes Joseph a refund.

Mike should have been left out of this. Trying to tie reputations together as a means of applying pressure (or whatever it was meant to be) was an ugly move.

Joseph's main achievement with this thread is the shrinking of his world.

All of the posturing and exaggeration are unnecessary and this thread was extremely premature. A refund should have been politely requested without erratic deal rearrangements and then a refund should have been politely and promptly, within reason, been issued.

Good point. I agree. My bank is crediting it back, so he owes them now. As for those attackers on here , their opinion is nothing more than their opinions. And none of this will hurt my reptile sales. I rarely ever sale online.

Remember

Remember this "ultra responsible no bs buyer" named demonseed was the ##%@%#^$@# that was free handling the large female diamondback, that was not a venomoid by the way. This whole thread just speaks even more wonders of his character.

Worth pointing out that just a couple of tabs over from the Sales page on the RR website it pretty clearly indicates that the site hasn't been updated in a while.

If the latest dates from a site were from 2011, I'd check availability before hitting a "Buy Now" button. But that's just me.

Speak up Will with your negative rating. The dude is a crook and that's that.and is only a small world with you hobbiest. Ands as for the edb handling. I own my home. You're many of you renters And apartment dwellers have dangerous reptiles. Keep in mind that puts your neighbors at risk. But you are always the one to cart the first stone,

You are doing a GREAT job of burying yourself. Perhaps you might take some time off from this thread, and think about what you are writing. These posts do not go away.

:iagree:

Wow! Massive meltdown in 4 days! I suggest you step back, breathe and relax. Even banks and PayPal don't respond in seconds.

Neither is the seller ... yet.
If you are not refunded, then yes that statement would apply. As of yet, I have not seen any evidence supporting your assertion.

What I do see, is an impatience buyer who doesn't know when to wait for things to resolve in a reasonable amount of time and a seller who is holding your funds due to your unreasonable and aggressive demands. (Not that it is right.)

Patience is a virtue. You may want to try it sometime.

Grow up! You went off the deep end. You didn't even give Sean a chance to refund you before you blasted him on here. You went way overboard with the way you're acting on here. Good lucky trying to get anyone that has read this thread to deal with you. (And I don't give a rat's meow if you don't deal online all that often...word gets around even offline in this community.)

Do research on a seller before you just up and send money to someone. It's not their fault you didn't bother waiting for a response before you sent them money, and from what I've seen and read in this thread, you probably flipped out the minute you found out that he didn't have what you wanted. Which then caused him to get defensive and not respond the way he should. But YOU and your attitude didn't help the situation.

You're rude, crude and probably need to take a chill pill. If this is how you react to someone not responding to you in a reasonable amount of time, I'd hate to see how you respond to someone who is buying from you. Good golly!

Okay, so the events as I understand them are as follows: Joe uses the "Buy Now" button on Sean's website which says the reptile is in stock, sends the money, then is told the animal is not in stock. Asks for refund. Sean and Mike try to figure out if Joe is from Florida so that they can send him the snake, but he's from Georgia. He no longer wants to do business with them. Still hasn't received refund.

I understand that Joe has jumped the gun by posting a Bad Guy thread immediately in this situation. But the fact remains that if you have a website that says an animal is in stock and allows a person to send you money for it, you should actually have it in stock or issue a refund immediately. Instead, Joe's money was held while everybody tried to figure out a way to get him what he wanted. Which is fine... until that was deemed not possible. Then he should've been refund, which didn't happen.

TL;DR - regardless of behavior, it would've made Raging Reptiles seem like a more credible business if the money was refunded ASAP. Joe hasn't necessarily done anything wrong aside from posting this thread too soon.

Mike didn't have anything to do with the original purchase, which was for a Viper Boa. Joseph said he'd take a Retic in exchange for the out of stock Viper and Mike was the one that had the Retics in stock, but Joseph decided against it when he found out that he would have to pay for shipping on the Retic (and the "slow" response was them verifying they could ship a Retic into FL, not a Viper). Is my understanding.
