    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Even though I got something way different that what I paid for, I still wouldn't feel right about getting something for nothing.

His ad did state that he was looking to move these snakes for funds for a new car. Times are tough for people and I do not wish to make them tougher.

I agree with the something for nothing statement but it would've been his responsibility yo pay for return shipment.

After this transaction I bet his fund raising efforts will be severly hampered.

Finally after reading your post I hope every person I deal with has your integrity.
 
I agree with Tom, he did seem to issue the partial refund to the OP but I havn't heard anywhere that he is going to change his shipping practices. Personally with or without the refund I would not, in anyway, do business with him till this is resolved. I would much rather go with a breeder that will ship correctly then know the money, that went to shipping, wasn't used in the best way.

I've never shipped but I already have a handful of websites handy for when I need the proper boxes, bags/deli cups, packing supplies, ect. I also have two websites that I can ship through to make prices a little easier. From what it seems to me, he went through FedEx and not SYR or RE which might have made things cheaper for the shipping and allow him to get the proper box and foam for the snakes to be shipped safely.

I agree. He really showed his true colors here and many will notice. No one wants to go through all that for a purchase. He'll be on many do not buy from lists. I personally would worry about selling to him, too. Seems like it could turn into a big headache.
 
Josh! I am very happy you got your partial refund.

Ray...sadly, you put yourself in this mess by misrepresenting those animals so badly, and by worrying more about saving a buck then the safety of your animals in shipment.

I apparently hurt your little feelings by simply stating to fix the situation or suck an egg. Disrespectful? Well..if you are fragile, then maybe lol....but what about how you disrespected your customer....what about how you disrespected those animals! At this point...you will get no apology from me...as it took this much of an issue for you to make this situation right by your customer.

If those animal had died due to how YOU packaged them, there would be no way to make it right by them (the animals)...now would there....you would have killed them...for no other reason then you are cheap and obviously don't care.

If you plan to make your future situations right with your animals and begin shipping them properly...feel free to let everyone know...but do I care that your fragile little feelings were hurt...nope...I care about as much as you did at the beginning of all this =)
 
I like how you didn't post the pictures how payed out of pocket on shipping receipt that I sent you. I like the part you accuse me of males, but it took you friend to correct you that the eery were in fact females. Now you didn't accept any offer you stated you would only accept a refund with an apology after several apologies was made. By making an accusation that I name called and insulted you which I clearly didn't and now after posting this all my previous attempts to work it out and offers are off the table. Power feeding is only done around the breeding season since appetite is increase and extra mass is needed. Now for the box the FedEx employee did apologies for being on such low shipping supplies, an 11x11x11 box would of cost $96 to ship standard overnight and $115 priority which is way over what im able to pay out of pocket. He assured me that this box was not only cheaper and easier to ship but safer do to it's rigid and sturdy design and being a laptop box employees have no choice but to handle with great care with or without labels. Postal was an option being the worst UPS due to experience, postal in past has been great for me especially in affordability, reliability, and in constant stock of supplies. Just a mere option everyone has mixed opinions he stated it wasn't a home address that it was a work address being that I worked in an office building before a package marked live makes them uneasy. This will be last message in reply to this matter have a wonderful day and wonderful breeding season.

None of that really matters. You purposely misled your buyer on the weight of animals and the shipping. Regardless of how new he may be, you were shady. I think the buyer has every right to request a refund for the animals and shipping. You're the one that made the errors and falsely advertised your animals. I know I would never buy from you. The evidence seems rather convincing, and you don't seem to be denying much.
