    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I mean this question in all seriousness as I really don't know the answer for sure..Are there actually any restrictions placed on ray to prevent him from posting ads here on Fauna? It's very possible that I'm wrong..but ray's still a full fledged member of fauna isn't he?
I definitely don't mean this as an attack and I for one appreciate the enthusiasm you show for exposing ray, but unless my above statements are completely wrong, any boycot of livedeal kinda makes me wanna say something about stones and glass houses.

In the lower left hand corner of the front page. I understand the whole kings-eat-other-snakes thing, but if i had a king and corn that were that large and beautiful, i would not be feeding one to another. And by the bright coloration of the corn, it looks like he was freshly killed or is still alive, not just a circumstance of, "oh, the corn died, I'll feed him to the king."
That pic to me reminds me of the kids who buy mice so their cats can kill it, a waste of life, & from the looks of it, about $65 worth of corn snake in leui of $4 worth rodent prey. This is something that would lead me away from buying from any breeder, unless they had some explaination other that, "well that looks like a great pic to show my expert husbandry of herps..." :bawling:

Wow Look at the size of that corn thats getting eaten by that king ,I would bet that the king snake died to from eating pray that large.I would be surprised to see that exact same king today if he is still around ...Ray why would you feed that King a prey Item the same size if not bigger then it allready is? Unbelievable.. :rolleyes: Thats a shame

i noticed something on his yahoo thing that was linked - it says hes a member of the national association of reptile breeders...maybe they should be contacted regarding the bad business that ray has conducted.
also, as far as the kingsnake eating the corn, ray did "explain" himself on one thread somewhere (maybe even this one) that the corn was dead "of natural causes" when he fed it, and its natural for kings to eat corns, so that was his justification of that. not saying he is/was/ever will be right, but that was his explanation, for the person wondering.
i think those of us who have been personally scammed by ray bothering to contact livedeal (or anyone else) would be pointless, because as stated, the issues did not come about (yet) on/because of their site. heck, even rich has chosen not to ban ray, and some of the things that have happened have been on this site (not bashing rich, but just pointing out fact). i think its a matter of word getting out to where ever we can spread the word, and that is about the best we can do.

just an fyi - i posted up my rant about ray on his yahoo review, as well as linked back to the BOI with instructions to search the board for his name and see what they come up with. i think, if anything, to help spread the word that we CAN all go over that way and give him a nice little star rating....it was kind of fun actually. lets see...awful or great? hmmmmm. too bad they dont have negative stars.
 
How is this filthy sack of sh*t (Ray) not behind bars by now? How has he managed not to be killed by one of the people he has ripped off? Can't there be a class action suite against him? Can't someone that lives near him call animal control to his house? I mean, trashing him here is great and all, but I wan't to see some justice!

He should be locked in a small dark room with just his own feces and left to starve to death - similar to the fate of some of his animals i'm sure...
 
I'm sure anonymity is a big part of why people like him can stick around so long. I'd be willing to bet that none of us know what he looks like. He was too much of a pussy to even post pics of himself on his own forums and website. He lurks online hiding behind whatever new alias he's concocted and waits for the steady supply of uninformed newbies to wander into his trap.
 
Dan, Ray has been well known for hiding in the shadows. Only to reappear somewhere else. Of coarse he is well known for pulling to many scams, hell I can't even count them all. :rolleyes:

Based on location, seller's positive rating, and method of shipping, I would say no. The name of the seller's site would make you think twice but I don't think he is affiliated with the Ray we know. I am afraid the poor guy will be forever cursed with that name in this industry.

I have nothing but great reptiles from Rays retilia i spentn over 1000 with him and im about to do more buss. with him ... I think all of this is lack of communication and calling your pickup point every hour if you have to .... they cant live forever in the boxes they need to get air and in the proper climate asap...

Well Amber, We are not talking about a few. He has been playing this dirty game for a long time. However, I am glad you have not been taken yet. I also hope your luck holds out. :rolleyes:

2 dead snakes here that never ate i froze so he could see them and i wasnt comped for.
1 im watching that is getting thinner and thinner.
money down the tubes...
no call backs until i threatened him with a bad rep and no referals...and he got a bad attitude and got no where....
i had many other snakes all my life before i meet him and i was just looking to expand my hobbie a bit.
3 other highly recommended breeders from this site. even one that wrote a book,that told me they know him from other buyers feedback and told me to post here. they also all looked at the frozen babys and said one was way undersized for its type.
i dont know if this is the same guy but it seems to close....
