    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Recent issues in the Leo Forum brought to the BOI

No Chris. Obviously it is invisible to you from your own perspective, but this entire thread has been an attack by you against me. It's all here for everyone to read. It started with you questioning my decision to suspend some people, then went on through your implied claim that I purposely ignored a false registration, and is now dragging on for no apparent reason then to just kick up some dust.

When is your next vacation scheduled, by the way? :rofl:
 
all i know is i saw rich's warnings and that he ment bidness and i stayed on topic on the mack snow thread posted by gregg, only after the shiz had hit the fan did i make one post about how rich was gonna come on there and fine and ban or something.. i really cant remember i have super allergies. but even me (and i can instigate) had seen how serious rich was... so i stayed out of it.
i think both chris and rich are both frusterated but at this time whats done is done no need to argue... just shave hands (so to speak) you can even hug if you want but no groping and then walk away

To be quite honest my intentions were not a personal attack, and I've spent the better half of this thread trying to say this yet its been a back and forth argument. I know what I meant by what I said and its not open to assumption.... You think for a second I would come here to blast the owner? I may be crazy, but I'm not THAT crazy. Take the above however you like, its obvious how you've chosen to take it and obviously I cannot change that. I'm sorry you feel the way you do. Im done with it. Enjoy.

Laura, my intention was to speed it cessation. Chris seemed very insistent that he get in the last word and that he was misunderstood. Rich is not going to change his mind about what he did and why he did it.

I was attempting to point that out to Chris in a manner that he would understand and listen to.

Had I wanted to stir things up I CERTAINLY could have done a better job of it than my last post.

I care because I, just me, thought that Chris was coming dangerously close to saying some things in anger that would be here forever that he would not have said had he not been so worked up.

But I would like to hear other opinions of whether or not I was wrong in my assessment of what E2MacPets posted being a qualification for being suspended. I thought I was being careful about who exactly I picked out of the barroom brawl and threw into the paddy wagon, but I am willing to listen to a dissenting opinion or three.

I purposely made it a "soft suspension" to all involved that were paid members, simply because I did not want to slam the door totally in their faces with this issue. I thought for certain that they ALL recognized that they were voluntarily stepping over the line and were willing to face the consequences for their actions. But with the rancor that fell out over this, now I'm really not certain at all what was on those people's minds. Did they instead just think it was a hollow threat on my part? Well, I just don't know at this point, but the reaction has gotten out of hand in a hurry.

Anyway, my cards are on the table. Read them and tell me what they say.
 
I don't see Steve lying and since he has stated it was a joke about dan's in general I could see you reversing his suspension. It is largely due to his outstanding relationship and the feeling I've gotten from him in the few conversations we've had in chat that I am willing to go out on this limb though.

Had he crossed the line, I think he'd say so provided he thought he had.
 
In my opinion you did the right thing across the board. Period. The rules here are in place for everyone. Not just the bad guys. This place would get out of hand in a hurry if we did not have the rules. And being a paid member or advertiser should not give you any special treatment where the rules of are concerned.

You could have done it in the first thread way back when all of this first started...... or the first thread the other day.... or the second thread the other day..... you gave everyone the opportunity to take it to the appropriate forum or drop it completely. Certain people chose to either ignore you, not take you seriously or did not have enough respect for you or this community to play by the rules. If we allowed that crap in the forums they would soon be over run with it and none of us would enjoy posting there. It was the FOURTH incident that you finally said enough is enough. I do not think it gets any more fair.


I am torn on E2. I know he was joking, it was just bad timing taking into account the events leading up to that point. Some people could argue he was instigating, but I do not think so. It is a borderline call. Kinda like an umpire deciding if that curveball hit the outside corner of the plate or not. It is a tough call.
 
I agree with Sammy and could not have said it better, there were more than enough warnings and some people did not take it to heart for whatever reason, I took it as you (Rich) were being walked all over but I do feel that E2MacPets made a joke maybe to lighten things up and it was just bad timing.

Above I wrote "relationship" when I meant "reputation". Steve's is pretty darn good.
 
Well Rich, since you asked, I didn't think Steve should have been suspended. I think he just got caught in the shotgun blast. No one could expect you to follow the whole Mack snow soap opera so I can see how you may have thought he was fanning the flames.

There were others in that thread that I think were more deserving of a suspension than E2Mac, IMO.

Mean. Low spirited. I would never buy anything from someone who is as derogatory as you can be, when it suits you. I am sure the loss of my business will not mean much to you; but then, from the way you talk, I am not sure if *anything* means much to you. It's all about Chris, isn't it?
 
I applaud your baiting attempt after I have stated I was finished with this, but I will say that your business will be missed. Unfortunately I am unable to censor the fact that I do not like the way you "plug" auctions and other things in unrelated discussions. I wont lie, My remarks were basically sarcastic remarks made in result of this behavior I have observed from you in various discussions and I do apologize that I cannot help but speak my mind, to a fault sometimes. I was rather irritated that Rich chose to take my statements as a personal attack in this particular discussion which fueled my blunt remarks. Regardless this is quite off topic but I figured I would atleast comment on this to clear the air. I apologize for any offence taken.
