In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Good Guy Reptiles Express

I haven't used them to ship yet but I was approved for membership really fast and Debbie was great!

Just wish I could order some supplies but that doesn't seem to working yet

Looks to me like shipping supplies are still cheaper via SYR

Then put that on the SYR thread Brian....lol

calm down lol I wasnt talking bad about reptiles express just saying that their prices on shipping materials are not the best currently. Now they may change them I don't know. I was just making an observation about the company which is what you do on the BOI.

How do they cost more....? For a 7x7x6 insulated box at SYR you have to buy 15 for $42.00 which makes them $2.80 each. But when you order from Reptiles Express they not only add an extra inch to the dimensions but if you buy more then one you're already paying less than SYR.

So if you buy from Reptiles Express you get 20 boxes for $44 and if you buy from SYR you get 15 boxes for $42. I call that a good price especially since you're getting 5 more boxes with an added inch to the dimensions.

I've only compared one size since that's the size I use most but you can already see the savings. And if you are a frequent shipper you get more discounts on supplies. So not only do they beat SYR but they also give discounts. :D

I am glad someone else spoke up before I did. Yes it is this way with all of there boxes and some of there other stuff. It is 5%-10% cheaper then SYR. There shipping rates are cheaper as well. Plus the more and more you use them the more discounts you will get on supplies and shipping.

when i quoted the exact same items through 3 companies with shipping syr came out less than reptiles express and the cheapest was Supperior Shipping Supplies. It may be shipping is more to NOLA I do not know. But i do know that it came out less. :shrug01:

Are you a registered member with Reptiles Express? The prices come down once you are a member. I myself also did the same thing with Reptiles Express and SYR. The only thing that SYR was cheaper at was cloth bags and 4.5" deli cup lids the prices were the same. But 12 oz deli cups, 32oz deli cups, 6.75' deli lids, cold packs, 7x7x6 (Retiles Express is 7x7x7) insulated box and 12x9x6 insulated boxes where cheaper then SYR. These are what I looked at. I am sure there is lots of other shipping supplies that are cheaper as well.

Contact Debbie at their phone number and she should take care of it immediately. She stated to me that there are still a few glitches on the site but she'll take care of it I'm sure!

Exactly what I was thinking Nichole... I'm sure Debbie will clear it up... she's got a level head on her shoulders and will do what it takes to approve you!

We should be cheaper then SYR on supplies (same price on punched deli cups) and shipping labels. If we are not let me know and we will make adjustments. We are on the East Coast and SYR has everything drop shipped From Superior on the West Coast. Anyone on the West Coast may see a higher shipping cost to get product delivered. We also offer the option of buying 1 box, bag & cup (highest price), or up to 100 (lowest price). This is for the person that might only need 1 box and you dont want all of the stuff that comes with a SYR kit. We are still working on our shipping supplies and our distribution center. We should start selling a few items on Mon (7x7x7, 11x11x7, 16x12x8, Phase 22 packs and Cold Cells). We should be selling 100% of our products the first week of Aug. We have our shipping system up and running, some product and lots on the way. I had all of our current product in VA. Our distribution center in now in GA. We have been transferring everything and setting up our warehouse in GA and it almost finished. The price that you pay for product will change as you start buying shipping labels. We can also match/beat prices on supplies and shipping labels for any high volume shippers currently with Fedex or that have a SYR corporate account. Send me a few of your current shipping invoices and we will do our best to give you a better price.

We will definitely be at Daytona! We will be signing up new members, selling shipping labels and we will have our full line of shipping supplies available for pickup at the show. See everyone there.

I've used Reptiles Express already, for those of you who have not...they are top notch!
Brandon was great at the onset and once I transitioned to member Debbie has been beyond helpful, even emailing me or calling me to make sure things went through well.

Any questions I've had were answered almost before I asked them. I've been really impressed with their level of customer service, especially when they were setting up and extremely busy.

Here's some feedback, I shipped a pied using ReptilesExpress and everything went GREAT. I am FedEx certified but I wanted to give these guys a shot since they seemed very professional and help when any problems arise. A+ service. Showed the employees at the counter the shipping waiver and didn't have any problems. Thanks ReptilesExpress.

I have emailed with Debbie about this, and have received quick emails explaining WHY this clause is in the agreement. I appreciate her quickness in responding, and understand from their end why it's in there. I have also asked this question on another forum, but haven't gotten an answer from anybody. My questions is, is the bold part below something you commonly have to agree to, and does it not make anybody else uncomfortable? I see lots of folks happy with their service, and it would ease my mind to hear that nobody else is worried about assuming financial responsibility for something they have no control over. Again, I'm not trying to bash, just asking what the general feel you guys have about this is. I'm just getting ready to start shipping, so I'm not aware of what is standard practice.
