• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Reptster.com experience with show sponsorship not good

Lance--I said it wouldn't be a justified one. I'm sure something like that will happen at some point down the road, there are bad customers out there too.

In any case, Hell forum it is. They wanted it, they're going to get it. lol

I'll not be posting here again on that subject. As for THIS topic, it's basically a case of 'who you think is more likely to lie'. That's why I am not passing judgement on either of them. (For those who have difficulty understanding--this means I support no one. It does not mean I support David, or Kelly).

I'll use Fed Ex. It's not that important in the long run, and the bulk of the community will decide it in the end.

He may not have typed in an amount but he replied to the email stating the amount saying he would send payment.

Yeah, I did see that. I also saw his explanation which was that he got it on his blackberry and just skimmed it, not noticing that she had put in the wrong dollar amount when he replied. That's why I was hoping she had something where he actually typed in the amount.

True, and if that was the case, he could have solved this long ago with some communication or paid the $250 and spoken with Kelly about the discrepency after she got the check.
He just decided to ignore it, let the advertising continue and then claim everyone else is screwed up so he won't bother addressing the issue.
He handled this completely wrong IMO.

Ok, I'm going to say it again, since you stated your opinion that I very strongly disagree with AGAIN.

David has lied numerous times. This is a fact. So, David Young is a liar. Kelley has, so far, never been caught in a lie. Theoretically she could have lied about something incredibly tiny, but she's been doubted and questioned multiple times and she has always been found to be truthful.

But I guess that's just not enough for some people.

That E-mail did not have the wrong dollar amount in it, that amount from day one of the agreemant (done over the phone) was for the $750.00.

EXACTLY.

I know I am not Kelly but as some know she is my wife so I felt it would be ok to reply to this.
Here it is, E-mail sent to him with the price in it and replied by Mr. Young on his BlackBerry that he will get the check out. I fell that the biggest thing about all of this is that Mr. Young said he was going to get a check out to us, he DID NOT. Why?????????

Hope this helps.

Hey Matt,
I did see that e-mail but there was an explanation for that. Something along the lines of "she once again changed the amount so he didn't want to proceed with the deal at all" PARAPHRASED.
I was also thinking, to eliminate people questioning the authenticity of your e-mails, you could do a screen shot of them. If you're using outlook express, it would seem pretty hard to fake that screen shot(it would be hard for me anyway). Might eliminate the need to forward e-mails to other people and such.

I don't think anyone can argue those points Steve. Lol.

Just to clarify, I'm not saying it was the wrong amount. David did.

Deborah, while 'they started it' is not generally a great defense, it seems awfully appropriate for this venue. Why did you not speak out against LY's random attack in the same manner you spoke out against my reply to it? If the moderators want to come in and tell me to take it elsewhere, I will certainly comply, but I will expect them to treat the trolls who dragged this out to begin with in EXACTLY the same fashion. I have no problem with being smacked, as long as it's fair.

OK, I'm asking you ALL to take this sideline discussion elsewhere. A little bit of side chatter is normal in a thread of this type and length, but I believe this is getting TOO FAR OFF to the side and doing nothing at all but bumping the thread back to the top with nothing new at all being added to the information available. This thread IS about Reptster, and as well about the people who have made claims of their own experiences, both pro and con. It is NOT about anyone's reputation concerning their interpretation of the details mentioned in this thread, nor their manner by which they have developed that interpretation. Nor is it about what people may think about the development process in how those conclusions were reached.

Everyone is welcome to an opinion, and can certainly post it in this forum. Everyone is welcome to post an opinion ABOUT that opinion as well. But it comes a time when the horse is well and done DEAD enough, or the stick used to beat it broken and useless enough that it just needs to END. In this thread, that time is right now, thank you very much.

The e-mails were already sent to and headers verified by a moderator many, many posts ago. I think the screen shots are unnecessary. :shrug01:

While the headers were verified, it was also stated that the content of the e-mails couldn't be verified. Just the path, or something to that effect. I do agree though, the screen shots aren't necessary in this case. I was meaning more in the lines of "for future uses". It is nice to see it in real life though, not just a copy and paste. Thanks Matt!

Once again... the Kordek's have supplied all info requested in a very short amount of time. There is no way to fabricate the requested info in a short amount of time.... whereas Mr. Young waited several days to provide his fake emails.

Well... having spent the past 4hrs (YES 4hrs!!!) reading every post in this thread, Ive come to the following conclusions which are MY OWN... being a possible future shipper I found this thread VERY informative AND disturbing in regards to the dealings with DAVID.. (NOT Repster as a whole)

1) David handled this situation very VERY poorly - nuff said

2) I personally will not boycott ANYONE who uses Repster for shipping to ME, but I will NOT use Repster to ship... (for customer service reasons stated throught this thread)

3) Regardless of the he said/she said things throughout this post, its always beneficial to BOTH parties to have terms in writing...

and

4) this is EXACTLY why I prefer local dealings and attending local shows for 99% of my purchases... for the price Id pay to ship or have an item shipped I could fill my tank and just go... I fail to find something I want online thats far away that I cant find locally.. I know thats not the case for everyone but it is for me...

I wish everyone involved the best of luck in future dealings...

~ Aeryk Esworthy

Considering Aeryk was planning on using Reptster to ship just a couple months ago, and that he changed his mind soley based upon the actions of David in this thread speaks volumes about the kind of damage David has done to his fledgling company. I don't see how anyone from Reptster can claim that Davids actions have not harmed the company, let alone, improved sales.

Where do you get you data from to make a statment like that.

A quick look through the BOI at all of the top scumbag threads (and even some of the little ones) will show you.

That and I think it's in chapter 5 of the Scammers and Scum Handbook.

"Be sure to thank everyone for keeping the thread alive, and repeatedly insist that it has really brought you more business, surely there will be one or two people out there stupid enough to believe it...then at least you can keep a few dollars flowing in hopes that people will actually eventually forget!"

:rolleyes::rofl:
