Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Again I appreciate everyone's input and help with this situation. I made the offer to resolve the issue and Dustin decided to sell the animals himself instead. I agree, Mistakes can happen to everyone. That is why I always request to get the animal back so I can sex it myself. If an animal in fact does turn out that I was mistaken in the sexing then I send a replacement just as I offered with this situation. Thanks again everyone for your input, advice and help with this situation.

Dustin, I have to say that male you purchased from me sure looks awesome. Hopefully he will turn out to something really special when you breed him.
 
Now did Dustin really sell the animals privately or is he trying to save face by not having to admit to missexing the animals?

If he sold them, did he sell them as males and at the price that comes with that? If so, this could be seen as another bad business decision if he did missex the animals. Heck if I was into BPs and knew Dustin was going to sell privately, I sure would have capitalized on the knowledge that there was a good chance he was selling females at way under value.

What would Dustin gain from selling privately for much less than what he needs to buy females as opposed to getting free replacements from Rob?

The only motive I can think of for not taking Rob up on his offer, after bringing this to the BOI so hastily, is that Dustin wants to save face.

Dustin and I have not sold the males yet; and we ARE selling them as such. We have both sexed the two said animals at least twice since this thread has started. I am firmly certain that these two are males. The only reason we have decided not to take Rob up on his offer is because we will use the cash for something else (like car insurance) and perhaps be out a couple females for the time being.

It's really too bad, but it's a mistake on all of our parts (Rob, Dustin and myself) and a lesson learned; for us at least.

I just wanted to add that both snakes are producing sperm plugs; I popped sperm plugs out of each of them last night. As for not taking the offer from Rob, that would be stupid. He's offering me two '04 babies. I could sell each male for $100.00 plus shipping and I could buy a 10 lot with a little added money.

As Jennifer said, we are all at fault and this is a lesson learned for the future. I don't believe I have any further issues with Rob and as far as I'm concerned we are both in the good with each other. I made a mistake, he made a mistake; point taken.
