In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Matt, that is crap. Don't go onto someone else's good guy post and advertise for their competitor. Talk about uncalled for.....

I emailed AR and the shipping was going to be over $100 for less rodents than I recieved from RP. It is hard to beat the sales at RP.

My one "bad" experience:

I put "bad" in quotations because it highlights that this incident resulted in a positive experience. It was my second order with them. I ordered quite a few medium rats and upon receiving them I noticed that they seemed a bit small. They were labeled as medium rats, so I weighed each one individually and their overall weight averaged out to be less than their cutoff for medium rats. I emailed them, explaining the situation and suggesting a possible course of action. I felt that since I received small rats when I ordered medium rats I should be refunded or credited the difference. They agreed and turned a possibly negative situation into a positive one. I have since ordered a box every month and will continue to do so. THAT is why they are a GREAT business.

i hope they do the same with me, i tried calling and emailed them about this... this is the third time i have had this happen... xxxxlg gpigs are 600gm-900gm... the small one in the pic is under 400gm and about 25% are this size, about 25% around 900gm, and about 500gm-600gm for the rest, each order has been this way... i noticed that all the xlg sizes are $1.00... but i purchased xxxxlg gpigs and am getting large ones that are clearly marked as xxxxlg... misleading????

i also noticed that the greyhound bill cost $31.00 for two large boxes... and i paid $160.00 in shipping!!! does it really cost $130 for packaging and dry ice????

one more pic... it looks to me like someone really wasnt paying attention to what was going into the box??

they are all marked xxxxlg and should be between 600gm - 900gm... the 4 on the left are under 400gm.

Well, I just recently received an order of 1000 pinks; small, medium and large mice and rats.
I didn’t have any problems with my order. The sizes look good. I received great follow-up by phone and email with my order and shipping was on time. It was good transaction.

This is a really old post but I am happy with rodent pro. I order monthly from them. As far as the GP's go for anyone curious, rodent pro had a sale where all sizes were all $1.

Rodent Pro is the best!

..... and if you live in the Kansas City Metro area or surrounding areas, they set up at our Kansas City Reptile Expo which I might add is this coming Sunday. For more information check out the link.

This is a great way to avoid shipping charges.

Rodent pro is great!

I recently ordered over 1,000 rats from Rodent Pro. I was a little apprehensive as this was my first time ordering rodents in quantity through the mail...

My $940 was well spent...

The rats were very well packaged, frozen solid and well insulated...

All the sizes were very close to the size pictures on their website.

Yes, there were some broken limbs on the smaller rats, but I think this is a side effect of being frozen and the bumpy bus ride---no big deal in my opinion.

The online quote calculator was invaluable to me, because it calculates shipping costs right there, and helps make sure each box can be filled to capacity. It tells you how close you are to quantity discounts, so you know to add a few more rodents to get the savings.

My only suggestion for improvement would be some type of label on the plastic bags with the size of rat...the marker on the bags rubs off easily with condensation when they are handled. I ordered many different sizes of rats, and some of the sizes are close enough to cause confusion at times...

Overall I am very glad that I came across Rodent pro...

My three orders came in with no problems. Sticking with them until something better, if it does, coems along.

Ditto.

George, start a thread about them if you like this particular company.

It would be the same as if someone started a thread titled-
George Bethel is a great guy to do business with.
Then I came along and stated- George lives in Florida and your in California, why don't you try this other guy instead. Tasteless, all around. Don't you think?

I've had both good and bad deals with rodent pro. Unfortunately, the 3 bad deals out weighed the 2 good ones, so I go elsewhere now.

It was OK while it lasted, but their packaging leaves a bit to be desired, 3 of the 5 orders were mostly thawed, and they were a jumbled mess in the bags. Couldv'e been UPS, or could have been careless packaging. I don't know.

But the end result is the same. :bolt01:

Oh, also just got my 6th or 7th order from rodent pro. Once again everything went smoothly. Order arrived (both boxes) still frozen rock solid despite spending 3 days getting here on a bus in 110+ degree heat. And, as usual, everything was clean and debris free.

I'm a fan if you can't tell.
