    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Davey, thank you for that post. You are one of the coolest people I have ever talked to and also one of the people I have talked to most thoroughly, regularly and for the longest period of time. We have alot in common and I think you're cool as.....can't actually say it for fear of those bank breaking fines. But I appreciate it. You're the man.

Next topic. When did I lie about my age? My age and birthdate are right in my profile and I think it shows up on every post. I'm 24. I became fascinated and obsessed with snakes when I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark when I was 1 and a half. I got my first ribbon snake when I was 5 and have had thousands since then. Oh you're right I did lie, 19 years. Sorry for generalizing. Give me a break. You super sleuths lie through your teeth or else just completely make something up when you need a new enlightening nugget to make yourselves look good. How many of you can say your experience with snakes started around the same time you learned to walk? Only Davey, which I am totally not surprised by because he's that type of person.

Are you people about done? I'm sick of seeing my name at the top of the board everytime I come to this site. Let it drop to the bottom like every other "GOOD GUY" thread does in about a day because nobody reads them. But stay tuned, there will be more good guy threads about me soon for you to try to bash, discredit (unsuccessfully) and get some attention on.

I will go ahead and read that thread, but in the future, maybe you could just quote the parts that prove whatever it is you are trying to say, or maybe just the outcome.If you have something prove, you are entitled to that, no doubt.
I don't see why my input is any less valuable than yours however. You are linking to stuff that you weren't involved in, and that is great if you feel it needs to be shown on every thread about Ryan, keep up the good work.
I am posting my personal experiences with Ryan, and I am terribly sorry that it isn't at all bad. I wish I could join in and bash people. It is much more fun to make someone cry than to pat a guy on the back for doing what should be industry standard , mediochre transactions.
Actually, I am not going to read that thread after all, since I talked to Ryan during that deal, and I know what it is about from the first post. Ryan was shipped snakes that were not the right sexes, in trade for snakes that he had. Ryan then shipped later because of some problems, but still shipped the snakes even though the trade was bad from the other end. Is that the gist?
 
I guess I have been talking to Ryan longer than I thought, time flies huh? I guess that will can feed some kind of response to call me a liar. I don't remember when I first started talking to Ryan, and I stated that earlier, but I was aware of that transaction as it took place.

Not that it's ANY of your business whatsoever and rude for you to think you have the right to ask, but I have the tracking numbers on the shipping sheets at my work. I'll post them tonight since I'm going to work in a few hours. Will that make you happy Grandma? And sorry but I'm not gonna show you my bank statement, so don't ask.

You could post screen shots of your pay-pal history then. It won't show any account information just your recent activities that you can set the dates for.
 
Why was the link to a post about Ryan's first and only bad transaction on the BOI being used to show that he is not making strides forward anyway? My purchase was after that, so are the many other good transactions he has had. He was branded a bad guy, and is changing, or has changed.
If one bad transaction hurts him so bad that 3 years later people are still using it against him, I feel bad for Mr. Leverton who was told that he has to walk straight now, and might fix things in time. Bill's was much worse, much more recent.

Not trying to nitpick Davey but it was two bad transactions. Read the thread on Ryan started by Mark and Amy. I consider that one to be more damning than the first.

Personally I will be the first to congratulate Ryan if he manages to turn things around. I just think those congratulations would be premature at this point

I will agree that had Ryan gone through with a transaction to sell those animals as perfectly healthy, with no mention of them having the history that they had it would be pretty damned damning. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, when I inquired about the animals, everything was disclosed. I knew the backrground, and I knew what Ryan's thought of the conditions as well. I as an informed consumer then had the ability to decide on my own whether it was worth the risk. I didn't think it was, and I passed.
I didn't ask Ryan anything about the snakes really , other than asking if they were still avaialable or not. The response included all of the information that was also shown in that thread.

I don't think it is party popper time either John, but I do feel that some heat should be taken off, considering he hasn't had a bad deal since. Maybe a slow simmer is best, rather than torching him, and anyone that posts their good experience with him.
 
Ryan, calm down man. No need to flaunt . It is not the recent good guy threads that are going to help you.It is more the lack of bad guy threads, after all, not every good transaction is going to be posted, but I betcha the bad ones will.

Of course, you may want to answer questions currently on the table such as the one inquiring what you were convicted of. NOT avoiding this type of thing will get it over and done with and out of your way forever.

Don't know you. Never bothered to read prior threads about you. Am not going to waste my time doing so. But we're up to 16 pages now, and the best advice was in Wes' last post "Do well, be QUIET, and things will change.". There's other good advice in this thread, but there's a heap of horse manure too. The beauty of the BOI is that every chink in someone's armor will be exposed. Like piranha in a feeding frenzy, its the nature of the BOI, and I am glad it exists. There are folks in this thread who average 2-3 posts a day, and need to get a life. They won't. There are other's who post here often and are worth the read. Wes' advice was brilliant. Take it. If not, this thread, and others that you decide to engage in, complimentary or otherwise, will drag on for many pages. You have a history ... I believe that Wes is trying to tell you to keep it history. Learn from your mistakes, as we all should try to, and move on. I commmend you on being up front with things you needed to improve on. Stay on that path. You don't need "good guy" posts so much as you just need "no posts". Best of luck to you.

Soliciting every customer you have an acceptable transaction with to speak about it on this board will not erase the past. The very fact that there have been three postings here within a week verifies that you did exactly that.

Right, he has a reputation for being an ass. If that makes people want to not buy from him that is fine. People get to choose who they buy from, and if his attitude loses customers, so be it. The transactions themselves, while not pleasant, were not enough for him to be branded for life as a bad seller.

One was the would be sale of rescued hogs that Ryan felt had recovered.Crappy move, but all that was disclosed to potential buyers. This buyer at least.

The other was a deal where he sent animals(too late,but properly represented) in trade for animals that arrived not as they had been labeled. (3 males instead of a trio, and yearlings, not 2 year olds).

I think it is fair to mention it if a new thread pops up, or to just link to it, but to harp on it in every thread where someone posts something good is overkill. in my opinion. I don't think it is fair to question everyone who posts, or to hint around that they might be Ryan. Ryan has several user names here. I am not aware of any of his names that aren't in his real name though. He has multiple user names, not multiple names. He isn't making up names (to my knowledge) and posting as someone else. Whatever "bad" he has done was always under the name Ryan Trude.
