This is how I treat ALL of my customers. Chip hit it right on the head. When you're satisfied with something, you tell a few. When you're dissatisfied you tell a thousand. Remember that I am not hated on this board because of my customer service. I'm hated because of the things I've said. That's it. Which I have finally decided not to do anymore and start reflecting the reputation that I deserve and try to shed the one that, yes, I have helped to create for myself. Thanks Chip. I greatly appreciate the kind, honest words and vote of confidence.

No...actually it is a combination of the things you said and the fact that you were a bit of a scumbag to your customers.

That said, with the exception of still spouting off in an unacceptable way on occasion, you do seem to be generating some positive feedback. Definitely a small step in the right direction down a long road.

BTW...I too would like to see all of Ryan's alter egos come up on a search. That would give a prospective customer the full and true picture.

I probably shouldn't even be doing this but I guess I will explain this for the tenth time so anyone reading this particular thread gets "THE WHOLE PICTURE". You guys (now just Wes and John) never give it up do you? First of all, if you do a search for my name, EVERY thread I've ever posted on comes up. So, that is already taken care of and it's a moot point. Second, I've never been a scumbag to any of my customers. I had ONE bad transaction 3 years ago that revolved solely around delayed shipping. Which I corrected and it was fine.

In the 3 years since, I have just ran my mouth (fingers) when I see the ridiculous crap that goes on on this board. If you wanna call me a scumbag for that, go ahead. But my treatment of customers isn't even an issue. You guys just say that and have absolutely nothing to back it up with. Which is what annoys me to the point of going off. Because it's not true. But by doing that, I make myself look bad. So from now on, I'm just gonna shut up and let you guys talk all you want. Show me or just mention ONCE that I have had a problem with any cutomer other than Ben Sparks, three years ago, who I will once again point out, is no longer around. You have nothing to back it up so I'm not gonna damage myself anymore by protesting and retaliating. That's just giving you what you want. It's so not worth it. With that said (AGAIN), I'm glad this post portraying me much more accurately to what I'm truly all about has been added to my little library of about a dozen threads or so. And it won't be the last.

No more posts that could possibly paint me as a "bad guy". I never did deserve them, surely don't at this point and I'm not gonna help create them in the future. I look forward to everyone I have yet to do business with and am thankful for the ones I already have. I really enjoy this stuff immensely and I just want it to be as smooth as it can be. In addition to the the Ben Sparks thread, in which you were completely in the wrong, we have the Mark and Aimee thread in which you adopted a pair of special needs Hogg Island Boas and then almost immediately posted them for sale as proven breeders. According to other posters, you were actively soliciting animals to adopt. Need I go on?

Your past history in this business sucks. You can't deny it or defend it so, if you are smart, you will stop trying. Get a few dozen good transactions under your belt and maybe this community will begin to see you in the light that you for some reason believe you are entitled to bask in.

Keep in mind that respect is a privilege earned...not a right. Quit whining that we don't respect you and get busy earning it like the rest of us have.

In response to Tim, we talked on the phone about the snakes 4th of July weekend. He told me he wanted to pay them off over like a month period. I heard back from him a few days later. He called me at work and we talked for awhile just explaining each other's standpoint on the whole situation. He wanted to speak with my co-workers about my character. Sorry, but I'm at work. Doing deals with people. Selling things on company equipment. That's not the place for that sort of thing. He really didn't seem that into it. I had other people interested in them that wanted to pay in full immediately without the hassle and seeming dead end. I chose not to waste my time and possibly create a problem because he was already "hesitant". I chose to do business with someone else who was also closer to me in location and I was more interested in pursuing. I completely have the right to do that. That's the truth. Question answered.

Just because you aren’t currently being an ass, doesn’t mean the people shouldn’t know you have priors of being ass in the past.

actually, I think the ad speaks for itself. He admits that the snakes were improperly sexed and has not tried to hide that fact. And to tell the truth, I am the individual who purchased all of those snakes. When the sex was in fact improper, My money was refunded and the snakes returned. The fact that the snakes were identified as females originally was nothing more than human error. at least he can admit his mistakes publicly, how many of you can?

My transaction with Ryan was so above and beyond what I expected from him. He was exemplary among businessmen. The point is we all like to share our bad experiences, but not enough of us give praise where it is due.
I just wanted to share that I had and excellent experience when purchasing from Ryan and I would do it again.

Those 6 snakes that were inaccurately sexed were reposted as males on a new thread on another forum (same forum Azsnakeguy was talking about). In the thread Ryan states that he has never learned how to probe snakes in his 20 years of experience. My question is Ryan were you relying on the people you got the snakes from to determine sex or did you have someone sex them for you after you obtained them? Now that question is important to me. I have never bought or sold any animals on line only from people i trust and in person. If you are a reputable seller you should have them sexed by yourself or someone you trust after they get into your possession and not rely on what someone told you before you get them. If you don't have them sexed by someone you trust or by yourself you should sell them as 0.0.6 since you really don't know what sex they are.

This reply is not a knock at you Ryan what i stated is just my personal opinion and this is my first post here i only joined as a result of your thread on the AHA website. I have not read the other thread about your previous business dealings but am about too. I will add that your 2 threads should be combined or a reference of the other should be put onto your profiles because it only discredits the BOI section if people that develop bad profiles are aloud to make new ones. If it were up to me your new profile would be deleted and all thread info on it would be moved to the previous profile. I do believe that people can change and turn themselves around but you cant do that by throwing away all prior info and making a new profile that just goes to discredit you. This would also lead a reasonable person to conclude that there is a third customer out there that we do not know about and has not posted here. Does this person know you miss-sexed the animals? Who is this potential third customer?
