• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy SCAMMER Brian Timony "Mr. Parsons"

Once I can figure out how I will post another pic of him taken the same day in the same spot of him firing up yellow. The pic came out much clearer but as you can see I have no reason to edit photos of this guy at all.

Heres another pic fired up yellow same day.

How'd you find out for sure his bloodlines were misrepresented?

After the whole transaction was over I received pretty damning evidence that the cham was not what the seller claimed him to be. I was asked by the informer to not bring it up or make a big deal about it. But the seller is being so insistent of his innocence. Regardless, I have been convinced to satisfaction that the seller was indeed lying about the bloodlines and I hope that he can learn from his poor business practices next time, instead of just blaming the buyer for her neuroses.

Either give the name of the informer or don't bring up the subject at all. I am not defending the seller but he does not deserved to be smeared with anonymous information from an undisclosed third party.

Also, the picture above is of a Sambava Panther Chameleon not an Ambilobe Panther Chameleon. Note the U-shape marking instead of the Zebra stripes.

Well then I apologize for bringing it up. The informant asked me not to bring it up and I will respect him/her in that request. The information was given to me for peace of mind and it has done that.

Not a big Chameleon guy but I have seen many Ambilobe out there with similar markings you can do a search and see them.

I normally don't participate in these kinds of threads, but I will because I feel strongly about it not being a sambava. A U-bar doesn't mean it's a sambava. It doesn't looks sambava to me at all in fact! That particular U-bar looks more like one you would find on an ambilobe than on a sambava.

Personally, and I don't want to start anything here, but I think it looks more like a cross than it does a sambava. That doesn't actually mean it's a cross though.

:iagree:
There's no way that's a sambava. The U bar can be found on almost all my locales so that's not evidence. Coloration is what you look for. Here's a pic of one of my ambilobe when he was a sub adult and you can see the perfect U bar.:dgrin:

Agreed. There's no way the fired up cham Brian posted is a Sambava. Here's my Sambava, Boo. First photo normal colors, second photo fired.

Here are two different Ambilobes (one from the Kammer's)
First is Cosmic Charlie - calm colors and then fired.
Second row is Mr. E (E for evil, he's one unfriendly cham) - calmish and fired as well.

Just found something potentially interesting in the chameleon classifieds section. Someone joined up yesterday with the user name "Fired Up" and their location is listed as Pompton Plains, NJ. The same location as the subject of this thread. They're selling a Tamatave chameleon. No idea if they're related in any way, but it seems fishy to me so I thought an IP check may be in order.

Here's a link to the ad: http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=311751

I was asked to pull the EXIF data from one of the posted photos.

The EXIF data has been wiped, except for one that is really hard to remove, and that is the Photoshop Properties.

This is evidence that Brian, or whatever his name is, certainly does know how to use Photoshop.

I really dont care what you guys say
only seems to be 1 unhappy person who in my opinion is neurotic and not very bright.

Parson's lied about being a flipper, and I think there are a lot of people questioning the photos.

But as has been said time and time again, the true measure of a seller is how he handles himself when things are not going well.
Lies and photoshopping possibilities aside, this seller is insulting and dismissive instead of trying to help a customer who had genuine issues. I would not buy anything from him.

To carry what Lucille said just a bit further,

only seems to be 1 unhappy person who in my opinion is neurotic and not very bright.

1. Insulting your customers in such a public way is not a very good idea.
2. The obvious comment would be, "Maybe you are right.....after all, they bought from you."

FYI Color Mode is used to enhance or change the color of a selected area or the entire pic itself.

I believe color mode:3 just means it is an RGB color image. I opened up a picture that was taken with my cell phone in Photoshop and it also had color mode:3 in the advanced file info. He may very well have edited the photo with Photoshop, but I don't believe the color mode lends evidence to that. I hope no offence is taken, just wanted to set the record straight. As I understand it at least.

You're correct, so I apologize. I went back and looked at some of my own photos and the same thing shows up there without me touching them. In the older versions of PS, that only showed up when you actually messed with the RGB values.

Learn something new everyday.
