In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy SCAMMER!!! Jay Mcnight / Jason Ciconne/ Franklin Chams Chams/SCAMMER

I would tread carefully with the stalking and harassment, and yes, calling Jay's boss to disclose an unrelated situation to his job can be taken as stalking/harassment and then you'll end up in trouble with zero credibility among law enforcement. This is really going too far at this point. Retaliation won't be needed as long as you file a claim and get your money back. I'm very disappointed to see the direction this thread is taking, as actions have become overwhelmingly desperate and equally as unethical as Jay's supposed behavior. Everyone encouraging finding this man and taking steps towards ruining his supposed career needs to check their professionalism and the consequences of taking things too far. I would strongly recommend that the continued handling of this situation consist of actions that won't come back to bite you in the a**, as now it's damaging your integrity as a seller. No offense, and I'm not taking sides, but there is a right way and a wrong way to handle things. This resolves nothing.

The information posted is so that he can find Jay when the time to serve papers comes.

Jay can send his ID to the email he was provided with, then his account could be active once the temp ban has expired. Pretty simple.

:drama:

Like Kathrine said, don't get crazy. Anyway, I'm guessing it's that Harem club out in Lodi. Jay's name was mentioned in a Foursquare review concerning said establishment.

I wasn't under that impression. He mentioned calling the man's boss and clueing him in on the scam discussed here.

Also, I was just wondering, have you tried calling PayPal and showing them your documented evidence? They may also pursue a fraud investigation if the documents are sufficient. I'm not sure what they require. I sent a personal check when I got stiffed, so I had to go a different route. Remember, time is of the essence.

I havnt done it. And if this is me going to far I won't go to that extreme. I would to here another opinion or 2 about this.
Last thing I want to do is get in trouble. He's not worth that much to me.
I don't think it's actually legal. It seems like a harassment case to me

Great thank you for that. I'll check it out to verify.

I also will post on Facebook that his ban has been lifted and that he's been lurking but still chooses not to post.

Why would you post something stupid like that? His ban isn't lifted, and isn't likely to be. When it expires, he will be free to post...as long as he has provided the required ID confirmation by that point.

I'm not a lawyer, but I'm fairly Google-savvy and I disagree with your assessment.

What is Harassment? An actor is guilty of harassment if they have the purpose to harass another, and they make a communication anonymously, at extremely inconvenient hours (like, late at night) or use offensively coarse language or communicate in any other manner likely to cause annoyance or alarm. A person could also be found guilty of Harassment if they subject another to striking, kicking, shoving, or other offensive touching, or they threaten to do so. If a person engages in any conduct which is alarming, or repeats conduct in a way which has the intent to seriously annoy or alarm an individual, they may also be found guilty of Harassment.
If you get into a mutual argument with someone, you aren’t being harassed. If someone calls you a jerk, you haven’t been harassed. If someone calls you repeatedly because you owe them money, you aren’t being harassed. If your ex-spouse calls you at three o’clock in the morning because your child hasn’t come home yet, you haven’t been harassed. Judges hate when Harassment charges are brought because of petty grievances, and are quick to grant motions for dismissal.

Code Section 2C:12-10
Stalking Defined as Purposeful conduct directed at specific person that would cause a reasonable person to fear bodily injury or death to himself or family member and knowingly, recklessly, or negligently places person in reasonable fear of bodily injury or death to himself or family member.
As long as no threats were issued, or any other foolish lines crossed, I don't think pursuing a debt by calling one's workplace would constitute either harassment or stalking.

At worst, I think it could possibly open the door for a defamation case, but if Jason Ciccone can't even prove to us that Craig's claims are untrue, I really doubt he could convince a judge. That's making the wildly unlikely assumption that he could even afford to file such a suit, which I think we all know to be a ridiculous idea.

I was thinking more implied threats and also this is if YOU call them. If you call THEIR EMPLOYER the law is a little different. There is much more of a case towards slander or harassment

Either party here is free to take any risks they want, I just wouldn't recommend it. Life is simpler when you don't have to worry what may or may not be held against you. Plus, I'm a big advocate for professionalism. It helps a person get taken more seriously. Any person who wants to maintain a good reputation will present themselves with professionalism at all times.

That being said I'm not a lawyer. It just seems like it could be. I guess it isn't anything that the law does mention, though so it could be nothing. You are correct on the slander being applied to something true but I also think there is defamation wiggle room at least

I tend to agree with heebie jeebies. While very satisfying to call this guy's boss, etc, don't go down a path that turns you into a sleazy person too. Or at the very least something you look back on with embarrassment. Jay's reputation has taken a huge hit. A lot of people look on fauna and while a few facebook friends might defend him, the vast majority of people would have nothing to do with him after this debacle.

Keep your integrity and character intact and go after him through the proper channels. You have a good case for intentional fraud on him with the credit card and paypal and the proof of him selling your animal with your same pic (not the smartest, is he?).

This jerk will sink himself (already has) and you don't need to lower yourself to his level.

You're a good guy Craig - it's very clear he is the scammer and I personally would have ZERO worries about buying chams from you. If I ever get into chams....hmmm. Would have to find space, lol.

"Professionalism" clearly means different things to different people. I wouldn't advocate for random, uninvolved people to spam anyone's phone; I'm just certainly not one who'd look down on a person for exploring every lawful option to be made whole in a situation where history tells us that they're extremely unlikely to get satisfaction through any means involving the courts.

Yeah you hit the nail on the head!!! Not a good idea to call his boss but it would be very satisfying lol.
I am actually currently taking heebie jeebies advice. I was sent a link and I think in the long run this will be even more satisfying. Plus it's the professional route. I do not want to come off as childish in anyway. Thankfully that last idea I had was shot down before I did it.
I'm not one of those know it all type people. I welcome new ideas and good professional criticism especially when it's needed.

All I can reply to that is by saying I can't control if you guys want to send emails to [email protected] or texts to 973-563-9097
That's out of my hands. And I will have nothing to do with being involved in that. While its 100% legal to do doesn't mean you should do it. I for one will not.

I would not advocate calling his boss. While I don't believe it would rise to stalking, it could clearly be seen as harassment and if this case ends up in civil court could significantly reduce your award.

All kidding aside, if Jay truly is not playing stupid he has to be one of the most dense individuals I have come across. Lurks for days, drags up 14 y/o BOI's, and can't comply with a correct last name? sweet lord.
