It's always something with him. I'm not sure why he even bothers at this point.
I got some cages back in Nov, and while total lead time wasn't bad (3 weeks), he strung me along with every excuse in the book. My initial conversation with him he told me 2-3 days lead time. I did add a cage, thus adding (perhaps???) a little bit of time, but I doubt that had anything to do with it.
Finally after I came here and complained, I got my cages. Wasn't pleased at all with some aspects. The hinges were not what should have been used, they don't want to stay in place. I had to file down some of the plexi doors to shut them tight. They could probably use a little work still if I wanted to put more effort in it. I had to drill holes for ventilation b/c this option was not offered/discussed and it didn't occur to me (I'll take blame for that I guess).
Then I order another cage - told him I'm in no rush, which was true. I find out I'm moving and I know they won't refund so he told me ok, he'll make it and put it on his website to sell, then when/if it does, he'll do a refund. That was totally fair IMO. However, I had been asking for him to post it on his FB page, no response. I had also been calling and emailing about refunding my $75 I'd paid for shipping. No reason I can't get that back. Finally after he ignores me, my bf got really nasty and then I finally get a call. I was told he'd send me a check out on Tuesday 2/21 for sure (said banks weren't open Monday which was true but he could get a money order anywhere). So, I'm waiting and today (Friday, 3 days later) he emails me that my $ were sent out today certified mail. Hmmm, why did it take 3 days longer and why wasn't I informed earlier? Oh, wait, this was after the previous week he told me to send him paypal invoices, which I did, to both of his email addresses. Then he said it wasn't accepting them. Quite bizarre since I can send anyone else money requests and/or money.
Also, I can't understand his refusal to just paypal me the money. I know his paypal isn't up but you can still use it. He just doesn't want to take payment that way but my $ could have been sent via PP especially when he was so late in sending it (assuming he did send it).
We do have an arrangement for the cage I had ordered. Someone else is interested in it and they will pay me direct if they buy it which is 100% fine by me.
The only way to get a response from him is to get shitty and I just don't get that. Even when I was having problems with my heating after I moved, I had called and called asking for help and I finally had to get pissy to get a call back. He did help me with that once I finally got him to call me.
I've tried to stay off of here but I'm finally speaking my mind. I just don't understand his way of doing business. I called him today after I got the email about my $ and the woman said he'd call me, ya, right he will.
He's mad at me now and won't do business with me, after whatever my BF said to him which was nasty, I agree. That's ok though b/c I don't need more cages and if I did, I'd order elsewhere. Dragons4you seems to have good prices. I shamefully admit I cancelled an order with that nice man to order from LST b/c LST was cheaper and faster (at least I thought). I would have had better quality, no doubt, from Dragons4you. Sean also knew I cancelled the other order b/c he promised such fast turnaround.
I do not have emails, but I dealt with everything people have said here. Including me calling freight lines 2-3 times and getting one answer from the people at the freightline and another answer from Sean. It's just always something. I've told him that but he doesn't care, I've stressed the importance of call backs as well, trying to be nice.
