Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I purchased a 16 bin mouse rack from him back in Nov of 2011. Sean stated he needed 6 weeks to put it together and have it shipped. I had conversations with Sean several times overe the phone and he proclaimed to have a nice operation building racks and used high grade materials. Si I did not mind waiting for the rack to be built but told him I really needed it ASAP. Well after about 3 to 4 lies and sob stories as to why my rack was not here yet and getting the run around Sean stopped all communication with me on Feb. 13. he sent me this thext " I just got your VM. Your rack went out> I will check with the carriers to see where it is." . Never got another text or email giving me this info. I did some digging and it did not take me long to find out this is Sean MO he will string you along and promise you extras for free then never deliver. My $600 is most likely gone for good although I have put in disputs with my bank and Paypal as this is how he was paid. You only have 30 to 45 days to file a disput with paypal and your bank which is what Sean scam is to string you along long enough so you can not file a claim legally. Sean you need to stop ripping people off and get out of the industry before someone comes after you. Your lucky I can't I on the West Coast.

Sean has a couple Boi's on him already about shipping delays and what not you can google his name to find them or search them here on fauna.

FYI, Your going to want to post some emails between the two of you to show he was lying or else its a he said she said..
 
I'm in the same position as you, only mine is two 5 drawer ball python racks. I wish I would have seen these threads before I ordered. I have documented everything, phone calls, emails, facebook posts and receipts. I gave him one last chance to have my racks in my position by next Friday (March 2nd) or I'm going for a refund. Lucky for me I paid over the phone via credit card, so hopefully I wont have much trouble if I have to go for my money.
 
I know this might be a frustrating time for you but could you post all emails between you and him, receipts for money transferred (Paypal screenshots) and any other evidence that you have on him?

I'm seeing more threads on this guy than flies on a rhinos rear-end!

Good luck getting your money back. Don't fall for the fake lawyer crap he will threaten you with. He does that to anyone that complains about his lies. I did get my money back. My CC company ended up refunding it. It took over 60 days after my initial complaint, but I got it. Sean didn't give me the refund like he claimed he would here on this forum FYI, like I said, my CC Co did.

Ok here's the story. I placed my order with Sean on January 3rd, everything with that went smooth, I paid over the phone via credit card and I was told I would have it by the end of January at the latest. So I left it alone till about the first week of February give or take, still didn't have it in my possession so I started calling and was told two different ship dates, I cant remember exactly when this was. On February 7th Sean called me and left a message, I called him right back and we talked for awhile. Apparently he ran out of white plastic doing an emergency order and was waiting for more to come in and thats why my rack had not been completed (now I run a bussiness and if something like this comes up its common knowledge that you call the customer and let them know). Ok no problem, I've been very calm and patient with this whole situation as of now. So in between that time, I've posted on his FB (pics below) and tried calling. Finally on February 21st he called me and left a voice mail, apparently he built my rack 10 drawer high (like I wanted) and he said it wasn't supportive enough at the top and wanted to know if it was ok to cut it down to two 5 drawer racks instead. I called back and left a voice mail saying that was fine and emailed him with the same response. I called the 22nd and 23rd leaving voice mails both times to call me back, I got nothing. Finally last night I emailed him and got a response that its supposed to go out Monday, if this does not happen I'm going after my money, right now I'm out $625. Ive gotten the usual from him, Lies, promised ship dates, free stuff put into my order, ect. Guess what, I still don't have it lol. Anyway here's all I have on him so far.

Hopefully you guys can read and see these. So as of today I'm out $625 and he has till Monday to get it shipped and provide a tracking # otherwise I gotta go to the credit card company.
 
Same old MO. First "the tubs didn't come in"...then "he had the flu and couldn't ship", then "he hurt his hand", then "I will give you a larger rack", then crickets......

Yep I've read both BOI on him, but of course it was after I placed the order =(. I'm getting the same run around you guys got. I wont do business with him again, and he probably wont be in business long if this is how he's gonna run it. I'll go with a reputable rack builder next time.
 
It's always something with him. I'm not sure why he even bothers at this point.

I got some cages back in Nov, and while total lead time wasn't bad (3 weeks), he strung me along with every excuse in the book. My initial conversation with him he told me 2-3 days lead time. I did add a cage, thus adding (perhaps???) a little bit of time, but I doubt that had anything to do with it.

Finally after I came here and complained, I got my cages. Wasn't pleased at all with some aspects. The hinges were not what should have been used, they don't want to stay in place. I had to file down some of the plexi doors to shut them tight. They could probably use a little work still if I wanted to put more effort in it. I had to drill holes for ventilation b/c this option was not offered/discussed and it didn't occur to me (I'll take blame for that I guess).

Then I order another cage - told him I'm in no rush, which was true. I find out I'm moving and I know they won't refund so he told me ok, he'll make it and put it on his website to sell, then when/if it does, he'll do a refund. That was totally fair IMO. However, I had been asking for him to post it on his FB page, no response. I had also been calling and emailing about refunding my $75 I'd paid for shipping. No reason I can't get that back. Finally after he ignores me, my bf got really nasty and then I finally get a call. I was told he'd send me a check out on Tuesday 2/21 for sure (said banks weren't open Monday which was true but he could get a money order anywhere). So, I'm waiting and today (Friday, 3 days later) he emails me that my $ were sent out today certified mail. Hmmm, why did it take 3 days longer and why wasn't I informed earlier? Oh, wait, this was after the previous week he told me to send him paypal invoices, which I did, to both of his email addresses. Then he said it wasn't accepting them. Quite bizarre since I can send anyone else money requests and/or money.

Also, I can't understand his refusal to just paypal me the money. I know his paypal isn't up but you can still use it. He just doesn't want to take payment that way but my $ could have been sent via PP especially when he was so late in sending it (assuming he did send it).

We do have an arrangement for the cage I had ordered. Someone else is interested in it and they will pay me direct if they buy it which is 100% fine by me.

The only way to get a response from him is to get shitty and I just don't get that. Even when I was having problems with my heating after I moved, I had called and called asking for help and I finally had to get pissy to get a call back. He did help me with that once I finally got him to call me.

I've tried to stay off of here but I'm finally speaking my mind. I just don't understand his way of doing business. I called him today after I got the email about my $ and the woman said he'd call me, ya, right he will.

He's mad at me now and won't do business with me, after whatever my BF said to him which was nasty, I agree. That's ok though b/c I don't need more cages and if I did, I'd order elsewhere. Dragons4you seems to have good prices. I shamefully admit I cancelled an order with that nice man to order from LST b/c LST was cheaper and faster (at least I thought). I would have had better quality, no doubt, from Dragons4you. Sean also knew I cancelled the other order b/c he promised such fast turnaround.

I do not have emails, but I dealt with everything people have said here. Including me calling freight lines 2-3 times and getting one answer from the people at the freightline and another answer from Sean. It's just always something. I've told him that but he doesn't care, I've stressed the importance of call backs as well, trying to be nice.
 
Haha sorry, they didn't look that small when I first screen shot them. Might have to break out the magnifying glass =P. But trust me, the evidence is there.

For those who are having trouble reading the attachments ...

If you go up to your browser's tool bar (where you have the "File", "Edit", "Tools", etc. menus), there should be something called "View" up there. Click on it and, in the drop down menu, you should see where you can zoom.
Keep clicking on "zoom in" until the webpage is large enough that you can comfortably read it (the webpage, and all it contains, zooms in more each time you click on it).
To go back to normal viewing (without having to, repeatedly, click on "zoom out"), just click on "reset".
 
I'm like most people. I was needing some bigger racks since my snakes have out grown their current ones. I was drawn in by the idea of not spending a fortune and getting something that looks good and getting the job done. I'm still hoping to get my racks from him, but it doesn't seem like its going to happen. I know of afew quality rack builders that are going to get my business once this issue is resolved. But seriously no one should run a business like this, I know we are not the only people out there having issues with him. His facebook page was full of not happy people commenting on the page, so he disabled that feature no you can only comment on his posts.

Got this one on 2/24/2012,

"Your rack was just handed off to road runner freight and will be at your house on 3/2/12. SEF told me that YRC Freight or Road Runner will call you, insert my cell #, when rack is in your area to arrange the final delivery. It will be on an 18 wheeler."

Still no tracking or any info as to what day he actually sent my rack out.. I was told it was already on its way way back on Feb 13th. I guessing that was not true. Anyway I will post whether or not the rack gets to me or if I ever here from the freight company.
