    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

maybe its a load of crap as you put it but its only one last little thing he asks for and then you are done.
you do have the replacement snakes i gather so its not like you are out anything except major frustration.
once you manage to get the skin and whatever else you can the door is closed to what snake it was etc etc..just be patient..
 
Again sorry I got so bent....I have nothing against house builders at all....I'm really just sick of this whole thing!!!
I get home from work and it's just getting worse...I go back and read the emails from Cagle and I get pissed..I'll get the skin I hope on Sat. and I will post the pics with pics from the king snake ad. ....again sorry for losing my cool you are right ritchie and I do respect your view you are one of the few people on this thing that have a positive outlook!!! Nothing against the rest of you I enjoy all the post and things I read......many things have been learned!!! Neil and Allen post are real also no offence to any of you...again your right sorry for the neg. remarks.....

Great to hear chris , i would definately be on the phone leaving messages for my vet .for your sake  he will still have the skin either in his freezer or hung on a wall or something and not have made wallets or hat bands by now.I understand you must be frustrated , but at the same time you must look at what others have put out in your defense as well .and yes these threads are getting old and tiresome but none the less it can be resolved. we will all be looking forward to this outcome very soon .  <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

Well first off I have to say in my mind I have an opinion on this matter which I will keep to myself, but I have to say I commend Bill Cagle for starting to handle himself better and not just insulting everyone in a blanket statement.  Chris I feel real bad for all you have been through, I really do !!!, but you need to get off the soapbox and get the proof Bill asked for and vindicate yourself and then and only then if Bill doesnt comply with giving you the money can you rip him a new a** on here.  I understand that when something like this happens to you and it drags out and keeps changing and shifting that it can get to you but you have to be professional in your approach and not go off half cocked every time something is asked of you, it only serves to make it look like you have something to hide, even after all that has been disclosed on this matter already.  Jason ...... You need to ride the fence on this one because if you keep defending Bill like a dog serves his master then no matter the out come of this situation you come out smelling like a dog.  I am not attacking you, I am merely stating a fact I think you may have overlooked.  From the very first time I replied to the original thread I stated that all I want to find out is the truth and that remains the same right now.  My opinion is that this situation needs to be declared dead and buried and Bill and Chris and all the other parties involved need to get on with their lives, but it does need to be settled !  Everyone can form their own opinions on Bill, Dale,  Chris and everyone else ... but who cares ?  Lets end this boys and lets get on with our favorite pastime .... Haveing read the posts,  not much else really can be stated.
I thought it rather petty to attack Cagle for being a housebuilder, it is the man profession for Gods sake.


Haveing seen first hand the snake that Bill sold Kemper Ruth, and watched the entire thing unfurl, as well as listeing to what has happened to Chirs Reid, and a host of others who whine but dont have the moxie to even say ANYTHING, I choose not to buy any thing from Bill Cagle, now or ever in the future. In the scheme of things it doesnt really mean much, but cant think of anyone that I have ever said that about to date.

If you'd like, I will examine the pictures.......personally, I really don't care who's right or who's wrong.....I DON'T DEAL WITH BOAS.......being a hot dealer, I hardly ever get any boas to sell, if I do they are LTC adults that somebody unloads on us.  Anyway, I CAN ID a snake by looking at the skin, and the "before" picture.  I have also had boas before (about 3 years) that had IBD, and am able to ID them.  Chris had e-mailed me in the past for information on IBD and our experiences with it.....and if I remember correctly, the ONLY post I EVER made on this issue was to tell of my experiences when the process of IBD was what was in question.

Anyway, I feel that I can give an impartial decision on the ID of the snake in question....given both pictures.  Once again, this issue does not effect me whatsoever.  I have been reading this post out of sheer entertainment.

so....send me the pics, and I'll give my opinion.

Sorry, had to point another thing out.....I WILL be able to ID the skin vs. the snake IF the skin was preserved......if it's all rotted, it may be difficult for ANYBODY.....

one would think if a vet took the time to skin a snake he would have the knowledge to preserve it right.
there must have been some reason for him to keep it.
 
Hey Chris... guess what... you got 2 new snakes, and you're still wanting more money??   that's bad customer business

I saw that mail message saying your snakes were doing fine after all the stress..   well if the 2 new ones are fine, that should be ample replacement for the ones that didn't make it
 
Now, being a customer myself, if I ever received a snake in dead (which I have once) the first thing I did was take pictures of the corpse and offer to send it back for proof...
 likewise, if I found one was sick, the first thing to do is offer proof to the dealer that the animal he sent was indeed the sick snake...  
 I think alot of this could have been avoided if you'd gotten some dry ice for the corpse and sent it back right away...
that way Bill would have seen it was the snake he sent, and he could have it necropsied himself, saving you THAT expense
and then this would have been a much smaller incident....
 nothing is ever perfect in this world, and I hope you are learning from all these comments here, and not just getting pissed off about them...  Customers have rights, true...
to receive healthy animals, but in the event it's not healthy, the dealer has the right to get it back also...
 I've learned from my experience and posts here on the BOI and I hope you are doing the same...  
and I concur with the people who said that boa you gave away should have been euthanized... even if you didn't want to.. that snake is sick IBD and probably suffering discomfort...
not to mention risking any other snake it comes in contact with...  why prolong its suffering?  Or risk other snakes having to be put down?    that's not humane...
