• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

seems to me it has gotten a bit out of hand

i think if we omit the title and the last paragraph of the original post in which i only explain how i was feeling .it was pretty much a strait forward complaint
with no real obligatory statements or
digs
but some of us like to get all bunched up in the rear about things and chose there own self righteous rants to reassure themselves of their self worth.

Does this include the behavior that got you banned from our forums a year ago? I have most of it archived if we need to refresh your memory.

I think it's disappointing for any of us to have a customer that isn't satisfied, and we really do try to do our best and ensure that folks who visit either one of our establishments walk away satisfied.

By the same token, when a customer has a history of being antagonistic towards our staff and also to other customers of ours, I think it's understandable that we may not necessarily go "above and beyond" to accommodate them.

Eric, you know you have a history of less-than-desirable behavior towards members of our staff & people on our message boards, including folks who are good customers of ours. Hopefully things have moved beyond that at this point (and I'm *almost* willing to give you the benefit of the doubt there), but I don't think it's fair for you to come here & call Andy all sorts of names and act as though you were so put out when in fact, you have a bit of a track record of being a bit...how shall we put it....high maintenance in the past.

Just my $2.00 (includes fuel surcharge)...

I dont care if you worked for bill gates or the president, if you made the deal you finish it. From start to Stop. If i were dealing with this i wouldnt pass this off as, Oh well they were in charge its not my fault.... BS.

Lucille was right on. All of this could have been avoided Andy if you would have taken a few minutes to go downstairs and see Eric. Even though this may not be the " exact " company you are working for, the fact that both of these companies are in the same building, and you take calls for the other company as well, it is inevitable that confusion from the customer's part would have to happen sooner or later and a lack of consistency in customer service would be all too possible.

You took the call with Eric originally, he dealt with you at first, then he comes back and has to deal with someone else that wasn't even in the original transaction. Of course he would want to speak with you! I do not think at all that you or NERD or whoever in this are bad guys, I just agree with Lucille that more could have been done in just a few spared minutes.

Eric, your worst posts were deleted because you like to use obscenities...calling people f***ing c**ts on our boards is not allowed, and you were repeatedly asked not to do so. You were given several chances, and finally asked to leave because you could not keep from sending harassing e-mails & PM's through our boards.

We actually have a good mod staff who can determine which posts stay or go - if they're deemed inappropriate according to the rather loose rules of the boards, they go. It's really that simple.

I'm not trying to discredit you at all...just to shed some light on the fact that you do indeed have a history of less-than-professional behavior in dealing with some of the members of our staff. I do believe I was almost willing to give you the benefit of the doubt in thinking that maybe your behavior had changed, in fact.

I have to disagree Eric. Your current, and past relationship, with NERD is very much relavant to the title of this thread. Kara input has been enlightening IMO.

it was more that i would post
a few would have rude comments from diiferent members i am not sure if any were employees as hey didnt identify themselves as such and i would comment in return
she would delete my posts or just part of them
after that went on for a while she (meaning kara) kicked me off
 
anyway if i had delt with andy last year
that would add some credit to my title andy strikes again

I have said this several times and I believe it: business it more than dollars and cents. Your integrity, and the way you comport yourself is very relevant in the way people see your business.


This is a real eye opener and it does put a different light on things altogether.
Eric, if you did in fact use that kind of language on this company's board in the past, it is easy to see why there might be some hesitancy in dealing with you. Did you use those words?

Actually Eric, you put spaces between the letters to get around our filters, both on the boards & in several PM's to a single user in particular (not me).

I can post screenshots if necessary...or since they're fairly obscene, fwd them to a mod to validate...

I'm sorry. I'm not trying to make this a car wreck, or a train wreck, or any other sort of wreck.

It just *really* irks me when someone who has been so blatantly rude & disrespectful towards our company in the past comes on & posts some pretty harsh and untrue things about one of our best employees.

Andy is one of the best damn snake keepers I know. Kevin & I have watched him grow as a herper over the past few years, and comment all the time how we both wish we could clone him. He's one of the most dependable members on our staff, and also has an innate talent for working with snakes. He has a feel for them that can't be learned - you're either born with it or you're not. Top that off with the fact that he is indeed one of the most honest people you'll meet, and does indeed have a lot of integrity...well, you can see why it's easy to be so upset at this situation.

Yes, it stinks the snake wasn't sexed while Eric was here. I fully agree with that, and know that it must be extremely frustrating to have to make a second trip up here, when I'm sure he had other plans. I'm not sure *why* it wasn't sexed in front of him or why he didn't ask to have it sexed just to make sure prior to leaving if he had some doubts for any reason. I'm sorry that Eric had to make a second trip back to the store but I cannot help that he did not sex the snake correctly when it was in his possession.

I think all the name calling is undeserved & just a little ridiculous. I'm not trying to discredit Eric or call him names or say bad things about his mom or ANYTHING along those lines. I just find the repeated jabs at Andy's character a little hollow knowing after seeing some of Eric's behavior in the past.

Off to find a wall to beat my head against now...
