My daughter picked her very first snake at the Cow Palace expo on 3-21-2015, we put a deposit on Aodh, who we later renamed Duke.
I asked all the right questions *before* bringing him home....please see the attached screenshots.
We met up with Siren at the Lodi show on 4-27-2015 and brought Duke home.
He was admitted to the vet on 6-12-2015 with a really bad RI. I messaged Siren on 6-19-2015 and have never heard back. They don't have a website, their facebook doesn't list a phone number, and today I happened to find out there was a guy who also got a sick snake from them, from the *same* Lodi show.
I suspect Duke was sold to us with a mild RI.
He is still fighting for his life, and definitely not yet in the clear. As you can imagine we have grown quite attached to Duke. I was not a snake person before then, and now I would be devastated if he doesn't beat this.
I did not expect to get a snake that was going to ultimately cost nearly $1000...only to have him knocking on death's door.
Siren chose to disregard my messages to them asking for contact, yet they made a post on 7-21-2015 saying they will be closing up shop…and a few posts on their page before that.
As you can see in the screenshot, somewhere in their collection they did have RI in the winter, as they did admit it.
I understand that there are some health concerns swirling around all of this, but honestly, Aiden could have taken Diana's customer service reins. No contact is poor business. And hindsight is 20/20, as stated in my reply to their 7-21 post.
