Wes, as someone without a dog in this fight or a pony in this race, I think this sums up at least the gist of your entire perception of the matter. How it started I know not, but it's been going on as long as I have been a member of this site, probably longer. How much Jay doesn't like you is not as much clear to me as how much you don't like him and how much you don't respect him as a moderator. You have made that clear many a time.

I just spent some time reviewing each of your warnings. Now there is half an hour or so I will never get back. Most were issued by Rich, and prior to the recent changes, the rest (save one issued by Ken) were issued by Jay. I can't see that I see a big difference qualitatively in the posts for which Rich issued warnings as compared to those for which Jay issued warnings. Were there other posts by other posters that were more deserving? I'm sure that there were. Rich has made clear that such does not matter to him, that his moderators cannot read all posts and are under no obligation to issue warning points. So this "consistency" argument is moot.

Of those issued under the newest rules, I might take exception to some issued by dand, and I have said as much earlier in this thread. Rich has reviewed every one of those, and he has confirmed that all are appropriate. Again, his is really the only opinion that counts.

The site will be run by whatever rules Rich has in place at any given time. While that has been a bit of a moving target, if you know that you will be dinged for calling lucille "loose wheel" and you keep doing it then who is at fault? Certainly not Rich, as he has "signed off" on that.

You have choices. Stay and play by the rules, such as they are at any given time, leave, or keep doing what you are doing. The last of the three will earn you a fine and suspension.

Jim, I just said, though I don't recall in which thread, that I am fully aware almost all the time, of what I write.

I suppose it's more of a habit than anything else at this point. I haven't expected to have anything done in a loooooooooooooong time. Still, I find myself doing it.

Eh, it's no big deal no matter how you look at it, it's just a game. Seems there are as many different ways of keeping scores as there are interpretations of the "guidelines" established here.

Wes, you yourself have stated that you pretty much know what you are posting when you post it, so THIS post either plainly indicates that you are WRONG about yourself, or you are being foot loose and fancy free with the truth.

The entire gist of the posts in this particular thread between Jay and yourself was in reference to the moderator status of Jay on this site and his actions in relation to you. When you told Jay to "get bent", it was EXACTLY because of those moderation actions, and as such, it was blatantly a case of antagonism towards a moderator.

That fact, by your own admission of your own ability to be the word crafter you claim, could not have been overlooked by you. The Mr. Innocent routine just doesn't fly.........

So cut the "game" crap, Wes. To many people, it has stopped being funny, entertaining, or even worth the space your words take up here. You CAN be an asset to this site and your input and comments valuable, as you certainly have in the past. But this latest "dark side" version of you is beginning to far outshadow that value and make a LOT of people view you as a distinct liability to this site for credibility sake. When you stopped concentrating on the bad guys and began targeting ANYONE at all, basically at a whim, or from personal conflicts, your judgment and credibility became suspect in all issues.
